Shari's Cafe and Pies

Great experience. Staff was very friendly and food was out quickly. Food was really good. My husband and I will come back again.

There was a recent disturbance that broke the inner door(last night). Great hostess kept me informed of the order's readyness.

I love this Sheri's. The staff is wonderful and very friendly restaurant to be in!

I've been here before but now it's under new management!
I can see the difference in care with the atmosphere. Staff seems happy, they are very attentive and kind, food is great and my family is happy! Love the coloring pages and new bibs!
The video poker may bring in a weird crowd but atleast this place is open late for food and kept up with cleanliness.

Go here as a alternate American fare. Always friendly staff and clean space. Most pies are available.
We recently visited a Shari's in Oregon that had a bad odor, so I am glad we have a nice Shari's close to us.

Our server was AWESOME. my husband, brother and little girl went there around 11 and even though there was some entertainment from the lottery room 🤭 we had a good dinner. Server was so so sweet and on top of everything, will definitely be going back. Honestly the best server we have had at any of the restaurants in the Dalles after two years of living here.

We have never had a great experience here. Today my kiddo and I gave it a shot again. I was served by THE COOK. She was our waitress, and our cook. Honestly this was the best service I have ever gotten here. She was soo kind and my food was cooked corrrectly!!!

I had a great experience at this Shari’s today. First the service provided by Toni was superb, she treated us like family the entire time we were there. Toni made suggestions for food and dessert (Pie Shakes are a must for dessert lovers) based on their new menu. I’ll miss the open face turkey sandwich but the French Dip will suffice. 5 stars for Toni, Thank You for a great Shari’s experience. Shari who ever you are, Thank you too for staying on top of the food chain.

My friend, my son and I went to eat here and just had the best time. Olivia was our server. She was so attentive and sweet and made us have an absolutely amazing experience. The food was also great and affordable!

New Menu was alright and food was just as expected. Our server Toni was top notch. And I had my first ever pie shake, which was amazingly made - again, by Toni! Definitely will be going back for more when she’s working, it was perfectly mixed to delectable perfection!

It was definitely over my expectation!! I got there about 9pm an ordered breakfast. And the cook clearly took alot of pride in his cooking!!! The waitress...meh....was abit lost an slow. But the food an cook more than made up for her shortcomings!!

Haven't been to Shari's in years but it great as usual service was good by a verry good experienced waitress. She looked at me funny when I handed her a twenty and said it was for her, she smiled and said thank you. We need to help wait staff more in these trying times. Waitress' only make minimum wage and it ain't much!

The service was great, and prices were great too. Store is clean and the outside is clean

Server heard me mention in passing to my wife I should have ordered a side of fries and made it happen.
We'd been through a rough day and those fries were like mana from heaven. Accommodating staff, good food and had vegan options for my Wife. 5 stars folks

Gina was a phenomenal Waitress. She interacted with everyone at our table and made us all laugh. We are from Boston and when I asked where the Boston Cream pie was she said, "it really wasn't a big hit down here." I recommend Shari's for excellent home style cooking and tremendous pies. Thanks Gina for making our dinning experience truly a night to remember

With only two incredible women working and a chief they did awesome! Such sweethearts and the food was great.

My mother and I come in very frequently and we are always greeted by our favorite waitresses!! Toni Prince always has a smile on her face and she knows exactly what we order unless I change it up!! We love our Sharis girls!! They are lots of fun and always professional..

This is one of the spots my daughter loves to go to for afternoon town trips, the service is slow but really good, doesn't need to be fast if the orders are right and the staff friendly. We always get a slice of pie to bring home.

Well, we arrived about 7pm.
Told it would be 20 minutes b4 they could get to us. Ok, of our party of 4, 1 played video poker and the 3 of us chatted. A young man approached with menus and asked for drinks. Easy, 4 waters. He offered 🍋, you bet we said. He brought waters and said they were super shorthanded and 2 people didn't show up. Ok. I get it.
Eventually the manager, I sure wish I had gotten their names, showed up for our order. With no pen in hand she took our order without writing a thing down. This isn't so bad I said. 15-20 minutes later our food arrived. Brought to us by the young man that took our drink order. The order was perfect!! After running the guy a few times for ketchup and soda and Pico de gallo we were set. People kept coming in and the manager, the only server in the house kept her cool!! She did an amazing job running that floor and keeping people happy. She never made it back to us, which was fine. I told her to not worry about us. The young man was outstanding and the young lady that came in at 8 was also wonderful. Kudos to the manager!! Job well done to the host/busser/expediter/and just a young man with a bright future! Yes he got the tip and rightfully so! Patience, understanding, and a huge love for people that, in a time of panic, kept it together! We had a great experience at your restaurant and we will be back! BTW...
