Ixtapa Mexican Restaurant

All the food we ordered was tasty. Burritos, tacos, enchiladas, chips, salsa everyone enjoyed their meals. Staff was amazing!

My daughter l Ioves the tamales here. She always does a pick up order when we're passing through.

Stopped by on the way through town and really enjoyed this Mexican restaurant. We had some tasty food and have some good service as well. Prices were fair on the lunch menu as well.

We looked all over town and finally settled here because the parking lot was full 🤗 we were seated right away and presented with a basket of fresh, warm tortilla chips, salsa AND pico de gallo! The waitress brought our drinks and took our orders! The food was brought almost immediately and it was delicious! Everything extremely hot and delicious! The servings were huge! (My son and I shared a meal and had plenty!) My husband enjoyed the ‘special’ which was 3 enchiladas, beans and rice ❤👍🏻❤

Driving through the down. We called a couple of minutes before closing (9pm) in attempt to place a pick up order (we were across the street at the market). We didn’t realized almost everything in town closed at 9pm.. Rubi answered the phone; she was super friendly and said they were still open and could eat there. Excellent news for us. She provided great food recommendations. The molcajete was delicious!!! Oh and the horchata was sooo good. The rest of the staff were nice too. The bathrooms were super clean. We will definitely be stopping by if we’re around the area again. :)

They seemed genuinely happy to serve us and were very welcoming. The food was also delicious just a little expensive. Overall a great experience.

The service was excellent and the food very good. We were traveling and asked the receptionist at the hotel for a recommendation. He was correct in suggesting Ixtapa.

My very first time at the Dalles and we decided to try this restaurant , Ian glad we did, they have really good Mexican food, I had the carne asada and it was delicious, my son got the nuggets and fries, he said the ketchup tasted amaizing lol ;)the place is nice and clean and a very friendly and fast service, very recommended

We split the big burrito with shredded beef...bug chunks of shredded beef. It was so good. Definitely a two person burrito!

Went down at lunch time, ordered off the lunch menu. I had a chicken enchilada with rice and beans. It was very good. Had to ask for water twice, but they were prompt in bringing it. Kids had chicken quessadillas and they were good too, tasted a couple.

My 4 year old says that the burritos are the bestest burritos in the whole world and they are so good that they make him fall down

I was in the Dallas last weekend for a wedding, and the bride chose this location for the rehearsal dinner. The staff was so patient and kind, the food was absolutely delicious and such generous servings. If I lived in the area, I’d go back!! However, I live 4.5 hours away so it won’t happen. But 10/10 recommend coming here and enjoying a meal.

Wonderful grounds and a beautifully painted building greet you as you enter the parking lot. The smells and sounds apon arrival are welcoming. The staff was curious and made wonderful suggestions. I had the steak fajitas. This dish could easily have been split between two people. Beautifully caramelized vegetables and, perfectly seasoned and tender beef, served as the base. Fresh tortillas, guacamole, and sour cream make the most of every bite. Served with beans and rice. This is an experience as much as a meal. The staff made sure drinks where always full, and plates where cleared immediately from the table. Smiles, smells, and friendly banterfilled the restaurant. What a wonderful evening, I highly suggest you try it yourself.
