Fred Meyer

Ever since we moved back to the gorge in 2018 & Fred Myer began offering grocery pick up, it has been a great service. If there is anything missing they are quick to correct it. Staff is always super friendly rain or shine. My family appreciates you all.

Theresa in the deli is the best person for the job. She is animated to no end and very personable to her customers and makes a killer wrap. Great job, Theresa!!

Good place, huge choice of products, nice prices, friendly stuff. I liked this place and will be back again.

I just wanted to say how happy I am with Fred Meyers in The Dalles. I had a small issue with a purchase, I called the store and asked to talk to a Manager and was transferred to a Manager named Tim Jones. He politely listened to my problem and told me that when I come in to the store to ask for him and he would take care of everything for me. I stopped in, talked to him, and I will say Tim Jones went above and beyond to help me!!! Thank you so much for being so kind and helpful and making things great for us! This is why my family and myself shop at Fred Meyers, we treated like we matter.

Wow! If I could give 10 stars I would! What an amazing experience with the manager and the customer service personnel. Not to mention the other associates home and garden ect that helped us. They are ALL AMAZING!! We truly appreciate everything! We will always shop with you when we are in town. - See you soon (Fathers Day BBQ mess) :)

Amazing help in electronics. The little tall blonde boy helped me find the perfect i-phone charger. It was so cute how he tried to be all strong against those evil non-maskers that were bothering him. Truly my hero! He's got upper-management written all over him. Can't wait to go back and visit him every day.

I was in The Dalles this weekend and realized we needed a few things for our camping trip. My experience was positive....they had everything I needed, my encounters with employees were pleasant enough, and found parking about the same as anywhere else. Maybe I got them on a good day but saw some other -less than positive- reviews when I Googled directions and thought I'd share my experience.

My son is 2 years old, every time we go into Fred Meyers he always says bye-bye very loud and over and over again. Today every cashier took their time to wave bye and say bye to him, even customers. It made my morning and his morning as well. Specifically the cashiers have been amazing despite how hard and stressful cashiering can be!

I just LOVE Fred Meyer Store in The Dalles. They have really nice employees, a lot of electric shopping carts for seniors & handicapped people who have difficulties walking for long times, & a very large selection of food & items to buy at very reasonable prices. This is great for those on limited budgets, & they also have some of the best handicapped parking spot, handicapped entrances, handicapped check-outs & customer service center, & clean handicapped bathrooms, which is easier to get up off the bathroom toilet with a lot of room & handicap helpful railing for support to help you get up with dignity & independence. Also nice sinks to wash up your hands that doesn't have time limits & real paper towels to dry your hands with. The employees are friendly & very helpful when you can't find what you are looking for. Also they have Money Orders, Western Union, Faxes, & minute cards for your cell phones & gift cards to buy. They also have an elevator to get up to the upper floor for more shopping area to check out sales.

For some reason, stopping at this Fred Meyer is an unintentional ritual of mine when traveling through the area. The staff is always helpful and friendly. It's a fun, older two-story store with an elevator. It has a lot of charm.

Lovely store they seem. To have everything u could possibly need and more. Great place to work plus very nice employees. Whatever u need they have so give em a try stop in and shop shop shop.

I live out of town and did my shopping here today and it was the best experience I've ever had at a Fred Meyer. Every staff member I encountered was amazing. A man named mike was especially helpful

As a native of the PNW, I've literally grown up on Fred Meyer. But I believe the employees at The Dalles Store feel that as the customer, I am the reason they are there. I have seen them treat everyone that way in different situations. But to experience that, you must first go through a little "trial-by-tire". The STOP sign and CROSSWALK are nonexistent to many other motorists here. So if a bit of "willful, parking lot ignorance" is endured, great service awaits you inside the store!

There's a younger man named Johnny/John that works there that's a grade A worker. I always see him being pro-active with a smile and a good demeanor. Guy definitely needs a raise and/or promotion. The other young men and women that work at Fred Meyer that I've seen are lazy and obnoxious for the most part. I typically see them grouped up not working, chatting and not giving a damn. I hope John gets paid more for their slack.

Bought Kroger bacon for the first time and omfg was it tasty. Didn't expect it but a little to thick but will be buying from now on. Thanks Kroger

I do most of my grocery shopping here. The produce people are very friendly and helpful, and the cashiers are nice. You can find some really good deals if you know when to go and where to look.

Staff has always been amazing! But today wow meat department guys need a raise hands down best costumer service ever!!! The date is 6-2-17 i was there around 3pm. Thank you guys!

I recently have had some major surgery and can't get out...
So I did my groceries on line. It really was quite simple once I figured it all. Very convenient for me.

Best place to shop within 100 miles. Friendly staff, great deals, and lots of products. Video games and movies always are discounted, tons of discounted star wars bedtime clothing!!!
