I spend a good amount of time every week in coffee shops with my laptop. Moving here about a month ago, I've spent the most time at Old World for the atmosphere and coffee. The Orange Blossom Latte is arguably my favorite coffee in the area so far. Wifi is fast, employees are friendly, and the inside is nice and open with plenty of natural light. Definitely recommend!

This is such a cute place! And their coffee was amazing, just what we needed to start our day. We were visiting from out of state, and I love finding new places to try. The barista was great, very friendly, and did an excellent job with the coffee, even down to the art out of the foam on top! He was able to do a lovely leaf on mine, even though it was almond milk, and an adorable bear on my friend's! Highly recommend.

Local coffee shop at its finest. From the specialty espresso machines to the single origin coffee beans, this place embraces what a genuine coffee shop is.

My matcha latte and my fiancé’s chai were awesome. Made with whole milk and lots of love. Nothing is too pricey, but it’s not the cheapest coffee bar I’ve been too either. Overall, absolutely worth what you pay.

There’s also plenty of seating and good light to get work done. I’ll be back with my stuff soon.

Old World Coffee is a solid contender in the emerging Reno third wave coffee scene. Located on trendy California street, steps from the main drag of Midtown, it offers excellent coffee and a clean atmosphere to study, relax, and sip on your joe.

OWC roasts their own beans at a separate location and you can purchase all their offerings in store. The baristas know their stuff and make a consistent pour, a hallmark of any legitimate third wave spot. Along with the coffee essentials, they have a small offering of baked goods sourced from a local bakery called Butter & Salt. The price for a standard latte is $4.50, slightly higher than other places in town, but still in a similar price range.

The interior design is clean and modern with wood accents to add a bit of warmth. There are several tables and ample space to spread out and not be distracted by other patrons; great for individual or group work. They have decent WiFi (tested 20 down / 5 up) and upbeat background music. It's a place that screams productivity, where you can clear your mind and get stuff done. It doesn't, however, have big comfortable couches to relax on, so don't expect a winter lodge vibe.

Old World Coffee is a great place for coffee enthusiasts, for sure I'll be returning.

What a exceptional experience :) Our barista Alex made the best Gibraltar I’ve had yet and put so much love and intention into it. A reason to return to Reno and def a destination if you’re craving delicious, heart-full coffee drinks and a lovely, chill vibe.

Trying the coffee roasters in Reno has been wonderful. This is one of the stand-out roasters in America, let alone Nevada. They know their beans, brews, and customers well. Oh, and they have the best decaf I have ever sipped. ❤

Best cappuccino in Reno, best service, most chill. Wonderful light comes through the big windows to illuminate a crisp, clean decor that invites you to sit and relax. A hip establishment without the hipster attitude. They will make a decaf cappuccino with a smile (try that at some other places...). Thank you Old World 🙌

This play has been our fave coffee shop ever here in Reno , NV . They have excellent taste esp. the lattes that they have and have excellent barristas (I mostly know all of them ) . Kudos to alex , and DJ for making good coffee and other staffs as well! When we say it’s good coffee, it’s good! (Been going to diff coffee shops in diff states )

This is my favorite espresso spot in all of Reno and I have been to all of them. The people are incredibly friendly and welcoming and non-pretentious. If you like good music and a warm environment and the great smell of waffles you have to come into Old World coffee lab.

Quite a lovely latte. Kind a friendly service. Just wish the menu was bigger/more clear or on the wall when you walk in. I was confused and didnt know what was special, beyond normal espresso drinks. First experience was great! Will be back.

Incredible coffee to start with, paired with a Modbar setup really guarantees an exceptional cup each time! They have the hip vibe and clean aesthetic down, and with a bit more training should be able to hone in on consistency in pours.

This is very nice place! We did order London fog tea latte and it was amazingly delicious! Very recommend it!

Best coffee place in town. Friendly atmosphere. They know their coffee very well. The coffee barista can make you single origin lattes and cappuccinos and they will let you taste the espresso before they make it. Love love the people and coffee. Also every Tuesday they have 2 coffee bags for $25 🥰

I visited the other day from out of town and the baristas were so friendly! They recommended the most delicious drinks and even talked with us about great places to visit in Reno. The atmosphere was very nice and everyone was very kind. The coffee was also delicious! The baristas do a great job of helping you find a drink you like.

Very nice cortado. Yummy pastries and waffle. Fast WiFi and super friendly staff (maybe a bit too chatty?). Great place!
