Old World Coffee Lab

This is a great coffee shop with real character! The ambiance is terrific inside and it features a large beautiful patio for warm weather outside dining. They have delicious seasonal lattes and very good lemon bars. Chelsea provided particularly cheerful service! Definitely a place to return to!

My recent visit to Old world coffee lab was very satisfying and enjoyable. It was a Sunday afternoon the weather was pretty warm there were a few people in the beautifully appointed courtyard. I had a iced version and a hot version of a coffee drink that included cinnamon and a little Cayenne coffee and chocolate. Yummy! My buddy still was friendly and very capable. This is the back end of the Union brewery and restaurant. Please see my review of my experience there also.

I loved the vibes of this coffee shop. Peaceful, shaded outdoor patio with plenty of seating. Blueberry muffin and latte were delicious.

I'll give OW an extra ⭐ for serving 8oz drinks AND including sales tax in their prices, which I really appreciate. I got an 8-oz decaf cappuccino, which was excellent - rich & smooth. They sell decaf varietals, which are hard to find. Great ambience with the outside fire pit and spacious seating. My only beef is that they purport to sell only cappuccino in the 8-oz size, which is BS. Most roasters who serve good coffee assert that 8-oz should be the standard for all drinks except shots, macchiato, etc. I forgive OW.

Amazing place, kind service and astonishing coffee! This is a great place to be, it is a high quality of comfort and the coffee gives such great uplift, the worker(s) are so kind. I would honestly make the trip of coming back. Despite the drinks being in a to-go cup they do their best job with the latte art. 🥰🙌🏼

What a great coffee shop! We visited the Tahoe area and came across this place. Outstanding coffee and a well designed roomy layout for both inside and outside. Just a great relaxing environment. The staff were very pleasant and helpful

My wife and I have been coming here regularly for a couple years. The 2023 fall seasonal drinks are fantastic. We got one of each and neither of could decide which was better.

Was visiting my BF's for the holidays, and stopped there for a warm drink, probably one of the BEST chai latte's I've ever had, the atmosphere is cozy and the girls who served us were great! If I'm ever visiting again, I'll definitely be stopping by!

The coffee here is amazing, I've never had such good coffee anywhere else. The skilled barista will make you a beautiful cup of coffee that can be sweet or savory. If you in Carson this is the place to stop and get coffee.

I dig this place. Anytime I’m in Carson I try to get coffee here. Great for just having a quick, cuppa coffee, getting a little work done, or meeting with someone. Great coffee, lots of cool custom drink options, and a great atmosphere.

This is a cool little coffee shop in old Town carson. Outside seating with a fireplace some tables inside and a chill atmosphere. It's my goto spot when I'm in carson city

Barista was friendly and the coffee was delicious! Nice latte art too! My dogs were able to sit outside in the patio area so that was a plus

After visiting OWC in Reno several times, I decided to make visit to their Carson City Coffee Lab. It's just as fantastic! Deliciously crafted coffee and espresso, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They also have super fast wifi!

Fantastic. Personally I’m a coffee purist and there coffee is one of the best and that’s hard for me to say since, I already have a coffee spot I love in Las Vegas. The staff are very friendly as well. Great coffee, amazing atmosphere, amazing everything.

I really like the coffee here. I always get the Vanilla Lavendar Latte. The esthetic is clean lines and natural wood.

Old World Coffee Lab is a great coffee place (both in Carson City and Reno). I enjoy their lattes and espresso drinks. They also sell gourmet chocolates and different types of coffee beans. The employees are mostly friendly and helpful. Great fire pit outside in Carson, and usually a very enjoyable experience. Highly recommended.

Hands-down the best specialty coffee in Carson. We buy espresso drinks...pitch perfect flat white...and the beans too. I come here far too often! Very friendly baristas (shout out to Erin, Chelsea) and overall very nice atmosphere. The dog friendly patio and outdoor fireplace are a plus. Wish list: It would be great if patio seating was more comfortable, and a couple more tables inside, or a "community" table, wouldn't hurt! Also, would love a savory breakfast pastry!
