Tunnel Creek Café

This was the best spot that my wife and I had lunch at during our trip to Lake Tahoe, it has a cool rustic vibe. There is plenty of seating available, we preferred to sit outside to enjoy the surroundings. A burger and cold beer was exactly what we needed after a day of bike riding and hiking to the top of Monkey Rock.
We will definitely return during our next trip, we recommend it!

Great little cafe at the bottom of the trail to monkey rock. Great atmosphere, super friendly staff! Had a good beer selection, although we didn’t try any today. Coffee was good, but the grilled cheese sandwich was the highlight. It was amazing. Great little stop in the Incline Village area! Offers great indoor and outdoor seating as well as takeout.

Was a great place to stop for lunch being so close to many beautiful hiking trails. The food was good and the portions were huge!!!!! There were some good vegetarian options as well, so lots to please a varied group. The service was SOOOOO fast and the servers were all so lovely and welcoming. And being British the lovely waiter kindly pointed out that the chips option with the grilled cheese were not actually chips (french fries), but crisps. And we were very grateful for the clarification!!

Great atmosphere! We had avocado toast and veggie sandwich with tomato soup. I’m not a fan of tomato soup but theirs were homemade and were really made well.

Stopped by the cafe on our around-the-lake drive. Quick and easy ordering which saves time. Fun atmosphere. I had the BLT, it was tasty. My husband enjoyed The Hot Sierra Burger with smash patty, bacon, cheddar cheese, grilled onions, Jalapenos, and BBQ sauce. Sorry, forgot to take photos of our food. Beverage were yummy too!

The breakfast was amazing, I got the breakfast sandwich and was so good. You could tell that it’s all made fresh. They are fast about getting the food out so it’s not a long wait. Generous portions that left you feeling full and not a bad price. Have to say it’s a must stop for food and right by the monkey trail.

We bookmarked our hike to Monkey trail with this cafe, that was always bustling with families left n right. For a place that is as bare bone as they come, run by what looks like local kids, this joint couldn’t be more efficient and effective in getting their clients’ orders through. What’s w these places that have such great food and service?! Prior to our hike we got coffees to perk us up, and when we got back, we got lunch and was not disappointed at all. The staffs’ chill vibe added to our elevated mood, we scarfed down our food in 2 min flat. I got the Hoss burger w Jalapeños that was EFFING AWESOME. My hubby got the Turkey club, who got mad at me when I took a too-big-bite of his sandwich. I couldn’t help myself, it was that good. He shouldn’t have offered. And we topped it off w some vino blanco that did just the trick. No mess, no fuss. Just good times.

Visiting this cafe shop in Incline Village felt like stepping into a movie scene. The snowfall added a magical touch to the already stunning panoramic views. The food and coffee were both exceptional. It’s more than just a visit—it’s an experience. I can’t recommend it enough!

Great spot for a quick bite to eat. The food was delicious. We had the grilled cheese and BLT. The staff were super friendly. Definitely would recommend this spot if visiting Lake Tahoe. They even gave us a little history lesson. The building was the ticket booth for ponderosa from the tv show bonanza.

Always passed this place when I'm in the area and finally decided to step into it!

Beautiful location with upper deck patio setting, outside seating and even lower deck gravel seating. Very much gave me "backyard BBQ" feel!

On that visit I did not order anything to eat, but I was tempted by the items on the menu. Especially the Philly cheese steak.

Alas, this was a drink only visit. So we had been hiking and swimming in the area and were actually looking to get some coffee but we saw drinks and said "yeeeeah!" in a manor only Lil Jon could have said.

I got the Farmers Valle. Which was a Lager. I don't usually drink beers but I lean towards the lighter ones when I, on the rare occasions, venture into the unknown! OoooOoo!

It was really good! Really refreshing! Hit the spot hard like a bulleyes!

The service was quick and incredibly friendly! Like I've never felt so welcomed and valued before at a place where all I got was one drink! My cashier was the best! Hats off to her for the cool vibes she threw my way and chill personality!

Will definitely have to stop by and actually kick it next time I'm in town for some grub and more bub!

BEST ICED CHAI TEA. Super cute stop before you explore the lake or go on a hike. Food was good and the meals averaged between $10-$15

Incredible spot. Went for a hike to Monkey Rock and came down for a burger. It was affordable, delicious, and the service was impeccable. They have a roof top and it was beautiful to sit and eat the food.

Tunnel Creek Cafe Lake Tahoe - Very delicious breakfast choices, this restaurant is conveniently located right off the main road and has short term parking for restaurant guests.

The breakfast burrito was delicious and the salsa was good! The muffin breakfast sandwich was also delicious. The food was hot and fresh.

The only downside is with Covid restrictions you have to dine outside with lots of bees around.

The staff was fast, friendly and courteous.

One of the best dinners we have had in Incline. Every single thing was amazing. Cannot recommend enough. We had the eggplant, stroganoff, and ramen and they were all so delicious.

Great coffee! My husband had one of their egg breakfast burrito. Lots of filling! Cinnamon roll delicious! Highly recommend a visit when your in Lake Tahoe.

This place is awesome! The atmosphere is very cool and the food is delicious. The employees are very nice and accommodating also. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely the best ending to a great day on the trail. We had two burgers and a cheesesteak. Food was excellent. Prices reasonable. Beer hit perfect. Highly recommended and we’ll be back. Probably going for breakfast in am lol! Oh and staff picked up my wife’s lost cover up and called us to confirm they were holding it for her. Thanks so much!

Stopped by for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised by good coffee, great food and super friendly staff! The food is simple California style and delicious.
