Conveniently located inside Reno Town Mall, just across from the Atlantis.
All employees are welcoming, friendly, informative, and patient with kids.
Wide selection of books, quiet computer area, quiet sitting area, really fun kids area with computers, games, puzzles, coloring, free craft activity every Friday at 3:30, 2nd Saturday of every month they bring in the sweetest dogs from Paws4Love, and kids can read to the dogs, and get a free book!
I've heard of "fancier" libraries in Reno, but this one is such a "sweetheart" location, my 2 kiddos & I absolutely love it!

Awesome library with a book store. The library has lots of workspaces and computers and a nice children’s area.

The facility was clean, organized and professional. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

The bookstore has great special deals on Sundays so get on down there and check it out and buy lots of books!

Nice little mall. The name escapes me but the shop with all of the products and art made by local vendors and artists is a must see. Just make sure to give yourself enough time to check it out as you can certainly get lost in all of the fantastic booths.

Since early 2017, I have enjoyed walking into this Washoe County Public Library.
It is good to know that there are people who are always willing to go out of their way to help you and to find what you need.
Because all of the libraries are connected by computer, if one library does not have what you are looking for, they can reserve what you are looking for at another library.

I just moved to Reno 4 days ago and I've been to the library twice with my mother so far, and lemme say that it's very lovely there! The neon sign out front is very cute and welcoming (props to whatever artist(s) made it) and all the staff are kind and welcoming, giving us headers to places to visit in Reno! I will say you do have to step outside the library into the court cause I had problems receiving texts on my phone in there, but aside from that it's a charming little library. Cheers!

I have been going to this library for the past 3-4 years and and all librarians are nice and if your not about some things they will gladly help you as much as possible. All they ask is treat them with respect.
