This was a cute little restaurant that is worth it’s reviews. We tried the Parisian omelette, biscuits and gravy, and the Lorraine Quiche. Also, the locally brewed coffee is very tasty. Everything was perfect. The staff is very friendly, and the decor is exactly what you would think it would look like being named Wet Hen Cafe. If I lived here, I would be a regular.

I found this cozy place during a random lunch errand on Wednesday, March 4th 2020. There was a nice flow of customers into and out of the restaurant. I had the good fortune of having the owner take my order and he suggested his favorite menu item: the Wet Hen Benedict.

Service was very quick and the plays came well presented with delicious take on the traditional eggs Benedict.

Good food, nice place, fast and friendly service. I'm looking forward to trying more of the menu.

We are lucky to live close to the Wet Hen Cafe. It is one of our favorite places to eat breakfast and lunch. The staff is amazing and friendly. The food is excellent with a wide variety of specialty creations. I recommend you give it a try. You won’t be sorry.

Wow, the food was delish! I had the gobbler sandwich and the Turkey was REAL turkey, not the sliced stacked store bought regular stuff. Did I say it tasted great!? Great folks making fantastic food. I *will* be back for more!

Peg's might be the popular "go to" spot (and with good reason), but I liked this charming brunch spot. Stopped by here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. You first order at the cashier, and then find a seat. I tried the Wet Hen Eggs Benedict, which is two eggs over medium and ham on top of two English muffins and covered with hollandaise. The dish comes with home style potatoes. The eggs were to perfection, the English muffins were nice and soft (though not mushy), and the hollandaise was a good complement. I also liked the home style potatoes, which had a nice and decent crisp to them. Service at the cashier and at the table was friendly. I had some questions for the cashier, and he was able to guide me in picking a menu item that I might like (which I did). I think I counted about ten tables inside, plus a bar seating area (which faces out the front window and has about three high chairs). Even though there was a steady stream of customers, I did not have to wait to find a seat. Parking is plentiful as well. If in the Reno area again anytime soon, I would be glad to try another dish from this place.

Very nice small place. Nice little twist on my eggs Benedict with a sweet basil added to the sauce. Great food and gifts from the locals.

Best hashbrowns I have encountered in a very long time, nice and crisp but also moist and made from real potatoes! Good latte, though I'm not usually picky about coffee ;) Really fast service, didn't get time to read my book for more than a page or so before I had my order.

The Benedict is also insanely good. Seems like a hugely popular place, when I arrived there were three tables taken, by the time I was finishing coffee there's no open tables.

Ordered the croissant sandwich and it was pretty good. Wish it had a sauce or additional flavor. Quick service and great atmosphere.

Went to breakfast with a friend of mine. I had the quiche lorraine and a home made raspberry muffin and she had the fruit crepes(one apple one strawberry). You order your food at a counter and then they take you to your seat. The inside, while small is absolutely comfortable. And the outdoor seating area is beautiful and shaded. The food was incredible and all of it was made from scratch. The prices are very low compared to the high quality a food and customer service they provide. The owner herself was the one at the front counter and also helping expedite food. It's so nice to see an owner so involved and actually caring about their customers. We will definitely be going back and bringing more people to the Wet Hen. Honestly one of Reno's hidden gems!

Fantastic breakfast! We can’t wait to come back for lunch.

I had the hungry rooster breakfast platter and everything was cooked perfectly.

My wife had the eggs Benedict and she said they were wonderful.

The place was very cute and clean. The staff was super friendly.

Wonderful experience, thank you!

I'm very sad to see this great place close. My wife had their eggs Benedict for the first time and she said they were the best she's ever had. I had the pig, pancakes and eggs. As always the pancakes were perfect and the eggs were cooked exactly the way I wanted them. I'm not a big bacon eater but their's is very good. My wife also ordered a latte and said it was one of the best she's ever had also. Like I said, it's sad to see this place go. It's such a great atmosphere with the husband and wife owners walking around talking with their customers and enjoying everyone's patronage. If you want a piece of memorabilia, this week they're selling all the store items, but Friday the 29th is their last day.

I’m about to finish my egg Benedict and just can’t wait to put in a review.

This is just one of those places that wants to cook decent food. Everything on my plate was near perfection. They don’t try to do too much and except to deliver a hearty plate. You can tell they care about those who visit. Service was great. Quality of my latte was beyond my expectations. Would definitely visit again next time I’m in Reno.

I like fresh ground peppers on my hash and eggs but I’m cherry-picking at this point.

Stopped in here on a business trip because I purchased gas across the street. Best sandwich I have had in a long time. FRESH ingredients. Reasonable prices. Talked with the owner, such a nice lady. Finished up with homemade pie and ice cream. Well worth the stop.
