The Rock Motel

For sure 5 stars in this little town. I stayed here 17 nights for work. The owners are awesome people, rooms are clean and quiet. This place is great!

This place is amazing. The owner takes pride in her place! The beds are comfy and if you need anything Mrs.Melina is right there to get you what you need!

One of the pleasures of staying at The Rock Motel in Mountainair is stepping from the unassuming exterior into the comfortable, well maintained space inside. Microwave, minifridge, firm king-size mattress, and the perfect shower. The owners are helpful and welcoming. We spent two days touring the three Salinas Pueblo Ruins Monuments and The Rock was the perfect base.

The owners are perhaps the nicest and most helpful people. My family and I had to stay there for quite some time and they were nothing but helpful. They provided towels whenever we needed, and the place was always kept so clean. The kitchen area was one of my favorites our room, and every utensil or equipment needed was there. Best local motel around! Again, the owners/staff were very friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend to stay!

The Rock Motel was an absolute delightful place to stay while in Mountainair. The rooms were very clean and spacious with comfortable beds. All the amenities including: wifi, cable, microwave and mini fridge. Also a delightful patio with a propane grill for guests to use! The owners were more then accommodating, friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay at The Rock Motel again whenever I am in the area!

I had a very nice stay here during a motorcycle trip through New Mexico. They offer a pavilion and gas grill for your convenience. Besides the kindness of the owner and the extreme cleanliness and order of the room, the memory of this visit that sticks out most in my mind is one night during my stay I went out to walk around a bit. The outside lights kind of blocked the view of the night sky. As soon as I walked around the corner of the building I was in pitch dark and there it was! Boom! One made to order unobstructed view of our Milky way. Fantastic.

Probably one of the best motels I’ve ever stayed in. Owners are extremely kind and caring, they were quick to help with any requests! I stayed there for 3 weeks for work and would definitely come again. They took COVID cleaning procedures very seriously which helped when traveling. Only suggestion I would make is a coffee maker - deff not a deal breaker though.

The Rock Motel is impeccably clean and nice. And the owners are some of the kindest folks you'll ever meet. We look forward to staying here in the future, as we visit mountainair occasionally.

Excellent stay very good rooms! Wonderful Hosts!! The bathrooms and bedrooms are the cleanest I have ever stayed. Would definitely recommend this as the top place to stay!

Just what I needed, when I needed it. A clean, warm room. Not much out here on NM route 60 east of I25.
Well lit, easy to find with a place to eat across the street.

Very friendly staff, recently updated bathrooms with great tile showers, very clean, A+ roadside motel

Room was very comfortable, and owners were willing to be flexible and helpful.

Some out of state family members came to visit and stayed there. From what I seen wgen I visited them it is a nice place.
