really enjoy coming here to do work and be around a good social environment. staff are very sweet and friendly. decent amount of seating and free wifi. love the turkish delights they give, became my new favourite candy! drinks menu is so varying and delicious. every time i go im debating between 3. so far: pistachio and rooibos lavender lattes are faves!

Beautiful place to chill. The spackling rose lavender lemonade and I really like it. It was refreshing and delicious. The Turkish delight came with the drink and it was also delicious. Like the decor and parking was available.

A great place for coffee. The coffee itself is much better compared to starbucks, dutch bros, pete's, and other big chains. It gets busy sometimes. I actually like when it gets busy cause the atmosphere is nice. Not always a place to sit, but the wait for drinks is never long. The baristas here are some of the nicest and kindest I've ever met. They are also very hardworking! The Cubano breve is really good but their cappuccino is my favorite.

In short, Fantastic 😍. Coffee is high quality, staff are friendly, baked goods were good, the Turkish Delight is made in house and you get a free piece with your coffee, my one and only complaint is the space is a tad cramped. This place gets a Sanai seal of approval.

There’s nothing better than quality coffee on a road trip! My Gibraltar was perfect and I loved the complimentary apple cider Turkish delight. The baristas were so friendly that I could have easily enjoyed the day here. Looking forward to trying specialty drinks next time.

Tried Pangolin Cafe for the first time over Presidents’ Day weekend. We really enjoyed the service, atmosphere, our drinks and of course the Turkish Delights! We had never had Turkish Delights before so we got the variety tray and they were all delicious. You also get a free Turkish Delight with your drink. I do however wish they were opened on Saturdays! Seems like a missed opportunity for good business.

I always make an effort to find good coffee as I drive around US West coast. They have the best coffee so far. Even their bagels are great and chewy and that's not even their speciality. Jazz music in the background is a bonus. Definitely worth the detour to reno city.

Pangolin Cafe is such a good addition to the heart of Midtown! They serve delicious confections-English toffee & Turkish delights! They also have a great variety of tea & coffee options. Such a great atmosphere and friendly staff!

Great coffee! The special drinks are all awese and unique in there own way. The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. The little candies are delicious and a fun little plus.

This is for sure going to be a new favorite go-to coffee spot. The atmosphere is great, the decor is modern and classy, the drink choices are wonderful, and competitively priced compared to other cafes in the area. The espresso is by far some of the best you can find in town. The delights and toffees are absolutely delicious, which they make right in-house. All around wonderful cafe with very friendly, attentive staff and they even donate some proceeds to help Pangolins. Definitely worth going to.

My very first time at Pangolin today!
All the reviews I read were 5 stars so I had to try it. The reviews I read mentioned a lot about the great customer service. At first I thought to myself “it’s good but not great” when I was ordering my drink. But my mind changed when my drink was done. The cashier/barista walked my drink outside. I insisted on taking it but he insisted on carrying my drink. I was very impressed! He totally deserved the tip I left! Now it makes me wonder if I should even bother tipping other cafes when they don’t even bring my drink/food to me! I pick up myself. Hmm. Thanks for raising the bar Pangolin! I will be back a few more times before I leave. Oh, I ordered the cardamon latte and got the raspberry Turkish Delight ( it was the barista’s favorite).
Tip: they have a small parking lot. If there’s not space just park in the neighborhood.

Really loved our quick visit here! The staff was extremely friendly, the atmosphere was wonderful, and our drinks (and waffle) were amazing. I wish there was one in my hometown!

Stumbled onto this place and it’s a gem. I think he was the owner, but super friendly and attentive. Coffee was the bomb and I couldn’t pass up the waffle with their homemade whipped cream and toffee. Doooooooooooooode, it was legit. I highly recommend everything about this place. Great ambience too

Pangolin is a 🌹 in the 🏜 …When you stumble upon a delicious coffee shop it’s a welcome treat, when you find one in Reno Nevada it’s a freaking miracle oasis!!! To top it off, a piece of house made Turkish delight with every drink 🤤 Pangolin is on or if not better than any of the ‘go to’ spots in the Bay or Seattle and absolutely worth the visit!!!

What a wonderful hidden gem! A friend wanted to catch up with me and suggested Pangolin. The atmosphere is quaint and cozy. Their drinks are amazing and second only to their delights.

Remember the scene in Good Will Hunting where Skylar (Minnie Driver) asks Will (Matt Damon) to go for coffee? Will responds: Great, or maybe we could get together and just eat a bunch of caramels. Skylar: What? Will: When you think about it, it's just as arbitrary as drinking coffee.
Well, at Pangolin Café you can have your cake and eat it too! That is to say, you can meet for coffee or just eat a bunch of English toffee instead. Or a load of Turkish delight, if you prefer. Pangolin café is an adorable and friendly light-filled café in Midtown, Reno, and it’s worth a visit. I had just consumed a 2-day quota of caffeine at Coffeebar so I skipped a drink and got some English toffee and Turkish delight instead.

Ever watch Top Chef or Bake Off and get frustrated when the judges say: That’s delicious but I don’t think you can call it a [whatever] because a [whatever] is normally [something something]. That kinda applies to Pangolin: their English toffee is less chewy and sticky than typical English toffee and their Turkish delight is gummier than other versions that I’ve had. But that doesn’t really matter – what matters is how much you like it. I like the way they make their English toffee – it has a flavor and texture that’s more like butterscotch (and no, not Werther’s Originals, but real butterscotch) and (Queen of England voice) one finds that it’s much easier on one’s teeth as a result  Their Turkish delight is vegetarian (no gelatin) and the flavors were well done. For $3 it’s a fun food experiment – you get around 7 pieces (2 ounces) which you select yourself.

I’m also giving Pangolin Bakery 4/5 Green Stars for social and environmental impact for the following reasons:

• Their homemade English toffee and Turkish delight (both vegetarian) provide a nice alternative to buying candy from multinational corporations with sketchy track records : )
• Packaging was minimal, although I’d prefer paper baggies, if possible.
• Pangolin gave away free masks to customers during the summer to help keep Reno businesses alive.
• They have supported pandemic relief efforts (VOA), first responders, and local artists.
• Pangolin kept the entire staff on payroll when they had to shut down for Covid back in spring.
• They plan to support pangolins with donations on World Pangolin Day (Feb 20).
• The café was constructed using beautiful wood furniture that was made locally in Reno.
• Organic coffee and plant-based milks are available (with a 75 cent charge, which is common in Reno :/)
• More information is needed on ingredient sourcing and ethics (chocolate, sugar, etc.) as they grow.

This place is so amazing. From the customer service to the tea, Turkish delights and ambience. I travel to reno every year and will probably make this my number one spot to visit. Definitely worth trying if you are in the area

Favorite cafe in Reno! They are always so kind. I love their Pangolin Chai and a portion of the proceeds go to save the pangolins. All of their Turkish delights are fabulous! 🥰

Really good coffee and interesting craft latte selection. I got the cubano breve which has just a touch of cinnamon and agave and it was a really lovely fall flavor without being too sweet. Every drink gets a flavored Turkish delight too and these were so good! I'm not a Turkish delight fan but the classic pistachio had a toasted nut flavor that was really satisfying, and the vanilla rose was delicious.
