Great selection of local, Japanese, and Chinese food. They have great bento boxes -- perfect picnic food for the beach. Not crazy expensive, either. Please support this local supermarket instead of the Walmart nearby!!

You have to price shop between here, the Farmer's Market and Costco. But this place has like 6 varieties of local papayas for $1.39/lb special sale! And they have the Hawaiian grown by Dole Farms (huge farm on Oahu) pineapples, super sweet, as well as the Dole Royal Hawaiian pineapples.

They also have local Hawaiian raw honey. The pint sized mason jar is about $28.

You must try the Okinawa sweet potatoes, purple flesh, they're so tasty and satisfying to eat as it is incredibly nutritious as well as filling. Boil low heat in only a little water to cover the sweet potato about half an inch for approximately 20-25 min, do not microwave them as that will make them dry, hard to chew and unappetizing.

And the bakery's fresh blueberry scones (2 per container) are so fresh, soft in the middle, not too greasy, not too sweet and had plenty of blueberries, really delicious! Highly recommend!

Local Farmers also sell their 100% Hawaiian grown produce here so if the Farmer's Market is closed (4pm and all day on Mon & Tue) you can still visit KTA. Green onion, romaine, Shishito peppers, Okinawan sweet potato, California garlic, onions were all very fresh and tasty. But again price shop as 1 imported English cucumber is $6.79=no.

Across the street from Sack n Save, my primary go to for my grocery shopping. They open at 6 AM so it’s perfect to get in get out. Great produce section, tomatoes are always fabulous as is their salad mix. Overall pricing is the best, and they have a good meat and fish selection as well. Wonderful employees.

Not your average, name brand grocery store. A good selection of local and country-specific foods. Priced about what you would think for a grocery in the islands.

Very much a local hometown grocery store feel. They carry a lot of local produce and other goods. They were well stocked and friendly.

Fantastic customer service. They went out of their way to help us with our problem. The store was clean and well stocked.

The check out people were super friendly both times I went. I wished they had the coconut bread from punalu'u bakery. I got everything I needed.

KTA superstores is the best place for groceries and a great place to find local treats. A local company serving the community with food and drinks many of which are sorced locally to help support the Hawaiian economy. Handicap parking and access available. The management keeps operations running smoothly and efficiently the facility is always clean and efficient.

Great supermarket. Employees were friendly. Extra charge if you need a bag but that is common in Hawaii.

Excellent selection of produce, and I really appreciate that they clearly label local vs imported produce!

I've been going to this KTA regularly for more than 14 years. It is my grocery store of choice because of the freshness of the produce and the friendly, helpful staff. They are all great and have become friends - but today, I was blown away by the "over the top" service provided by Koby. While checking out, I was chatting with the staff, as I often do, then grabbed my bag and headed directly to my car. I always park so that I can make a fast get-away, and since the parking lot was only about 3/4 full, I was able to make that fast get-away. I was only about 3 cars away from pulling onto Palani, when I heard a "tap tap tap" at the window. It was Koby - holding my fresh basil - and even though I had spent a little more than $80 today - it was really the basil that had been my only NEED!! Koby recognized that the basil was still sitting in the bin after I had left the store, and rather than just blowing it off and figuring that I would be back if it meant that much to me - he instead ran out into the lot and tracked me down!!

They have a lot of items that you can use and need out of the supermarket.

Great place fresh produce and large variety of coltural ingredients . Asain,Mexican ✓ they also have poke and sushi rolls freshly made .

When they're specifically juicy grab-and-go options from the deli and was not disappointed. Love the array of products from hot meals to bento's and sushi. Very reminiscent of Shirokiya!!!

Great place to pick up a bento box or rice ball on your way to the beach.

The biggest and best (IMO) grocery shop in town.

Pro-tip: go early in the morning and grab the local catch of the day.

Poke is popular here and often times sells out before the afternoon.
