Friday member sales are great. The totol savings was 45% off the retail price. Safeway pricing is about double other places like Costco has. Target has items that are up to 50% less than Safeway. So it's best to shop around. Safeway does have a larger selection of food and other items than Costco or Target.

We're back after being away for awhile. We found all the missing food items we wanted and more. The hand prepared sushi was delicious!

Safeway has what we needed. Chicken pot pie is very delicious. Newman's creamy caesar dressing is great on salad with goat cheese. Most items there are more expensive than Walmart, but Safeway has more good produce and deli items to choose from. Of course, there is always Costco for twice as much quantity for the same price. It's good to have Safeway when you can't get the item elsewhere!

I visited this place while visiting Hawaii. I am from Los Angeles, CA and noticed that the price are pretty similar. I like that they have boogie boards, water tubes, snorkeling gear and many more amazing products. I got whatever I needed at this place. Must check it out. They have snorkeling gear for prices better than big 5 in California (under $20). They sell just about everything at this Safeway.

Fresh Produce:
One of the best things about shopping at Safeway is their amazing selection of fresh produce. What I like about it is that it features locally grown fruits and veggies to imported exotics, they have it all. You can even find organic options for those who prefer to eat clean. Butcher Shop
Safeway's butcher shop is another great feature. They offer a variety of fresh meats, poultry, and seafood, with options that are both pre-packaged and cut-to-order.

Their deli department is absolutely heaven! Safeway offers a variety of sandwiches, wraps, salads, and sushi. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. They even have hot food ready to go, like rotisserie chicken and side dishes.

Online Ordering:
This store offers an online ordering and curbside pickup option for added convenience. Simply place your order online, select your pickup time, and they will prepare your order and bring it right to your car.

For those hungry bodies in search of poke, know that the deli doesn’t open until 11:00. However, there are pre-made poke bowls available to snag. While we would have loved to build our own custom bowls, the premade bowls had a mix of poke, rice, seaweed, carrots, and fried onions. It was a perfect and delightful beach snack along with the dragon sushi roll.

Make sure you become a member by downloading the US Safeway app at least 1hr before shopping and verify your phone number and email. Then when shopping in-store, buy on sale items that say ‘member’s price’. You’ll enter your phone number (linked to app) after ringing everything through at the cash and will save tons on money! I saved over $100! Fantastic selection and great prices. Lots of beer and wine, ready-made meals and fresh produce too. Big grocery store. Everything you need and huge opp for savings!

The Poke with my choice of fish, rice, toppings is now one of my favorite Poke places to go and the small ($9.99) is large enough to split with my husband. The sushi chef is also available to special roll. DELICIOUS. Who would've thought I'd rave about Poke in a Safeway, but it's better than some Poke places many tourist visit. I highly recommend this Safeway for the POKE

Has some of the same things like Albertsons back home on the mainland and then the things you find in Hawaii. Has smaller size items like a 3lb bag of rice in addition to the 5 lb bag we got at Walmart. I think I'll look here first next time I'm on the island.

I was pleasantly surprised to see Safeway in HI. Of course, everything is more expensive than on the mainland. But, they have sushi made with brown rice - yay! I wish all places had that.

it is a nice supermarket with convenient parking. if you need flowers at 6 in the morning I think this is the only place at that time.

Dude, then sell liquor this is a great place to get liquor and all the food you need. I'm from the mainland where where we have to go to a liquor store to get our liquor.

We were just picking up a quick snack to share with friends. They have a huge selection in the deli area and everything was very tasty. We had wings, deli salads and such. We also picked up some beer and wine from their extensive collection. Good prices too.

Great store, clean, easy to move around. Deli was well stocked and had fresh items available. There is a Starbucks in the store.

For freshness I choose Safeway. Always busy here so either go very early, exspecially on Fridays if u want to pick up the deals before the shelfs all gone or later at night to avoid the crowds. Sometimes long wait to checkout but has gotten better. Keep up the good work!!

C'mon, how do you think Safeway was? It's a Safeway, after all. They have stuff you'd expect to find in a ...Safeway!

For all of my texas folk, this was like our HEB. Great food selection, decent prices, the place was very clean. I would highly suggest using this place aside from Walmart
