Absolutely incredible! We got here right at 11:30 when they opened and thankfully we got in (make sure your whole party is there to be seated).

We got a great spot and had and an incredible server, Princess. They were so attentive and got us our food so fast!

What we ordered:
- Brussels sprouts (off the hook)
- wings (not flats) perfectly fried and crispy with the most amazing sauce
- brisket Mac n cheese
- ribs with sweet potato fries and jalapeno cornbread
- mocktail mule

The space was super cute and had plenty of seating. So glad our friends brought is here!!!

Wow!!! Absolutely amazing! We went twice during our week vacation on the Big Island; it was truly that good! I highly recommend the Double B Burger. All of their burgers are freshly ground in house daily from brisket, and this burger is topped with smoked brisket. It was delicious! The fries are hand cut daily and were excellent. My wife had the bbq sampler and she absolutely loved it. And save room for dessert, because the banana cream pie is excellent! We had a great experience here, but keep in mind, they do get busy.

I can’t rave about this place enough. Every dish (there were six of us) was freaking delicious. And the variety!!! It’s not just a bbq joint. We had French onion soup, glazed baby back rib, tacos (brisket and fish), poke bowl, man n cheese, and a banana cream pie and I wanted to stay and order more… not because I was hungry, but because it was SO DELICIOUS (which, honestly, is not what I can say about the other spots we’ve dinned at on the island). Eat here. You will not regret it!

We were very pleasantly surprised. You never know with online reviews, but these were spot on.

Brisket, beans, and sweet potato fries were all outstanding.

The big bonus was the homemade banana cream pie. Unreal.

Loved everything we ordered, and came back the next day. Meat was tender, flavorful, juicy, and fell off the bone. Really enjoyed the Paniolo BBQ Sauce. Loved the cornbread!

Much better than expected. Fun atmosphere with a hodgepodge decor of local interests. Menus showcased local variations on expected food and drink items. Our group favored the homemade onion rings, the Hot Hawaiian Burger, and everything barbecue, especially the brisket. The bartenders are on point; don't pass up the drinks.

The portions are large, very large.
We had two hamburgers, both were great.
The hot Hawaiian with grilled pineapple was sensational! The pineapple was sweet and bright and brought some smoky chared flavors, amazing !
The blue burger was also very good.
The fries were great too.
The homemade BBQ sauces are delish.

We arrived around 1:45pm on a Sunday and there was a wait. The host told us it would be 45 min to an hour and got us on the wait list. It's connected to Yelp so you can see your place in line - super nice - BUT we went from 7th in line to 'ready to be seated' in about 20 minutes. Luckily we were close by and were able to get back before they gave our table to someone else.

The inside of the restaurant is cute and the wait staff was quick and attentive. My husband and I got the fish place (mahi mahi was the fresh catch), brisket Mac and cheese (my husband wouldn't stop talking about it), and fresh squeezed orange juice. We loved everything and can't wait to return one day!

Absolutely one of my favorites in Waimea. Get here earlier in the days for a better shot at some brisket. Otherwise the pork is great too! The in house Hawaiian BBQ sauce is SO GOOD. It's nice that (if you're on the waitlist) they can text you when your table is ready. Can be chilly at night with the open windows so bring a jacket. Don't to forget to save room for dessert!!

This restaurant is out of this world. Fantastic in all respects. The service was 10 stars. Everyone from the host to the wait staff was amazing. Our server was “Princess”. They were helpful, attentive and just happy to be there. Best server ever!

The food was delish! We had brisket tacos, pulled pork sandwich, brisket sandwich and a couple other items. Everything was fresh, delicious and on point. The bbq sauce was heavenly.

I highly recommend this restaurant. We will definitely come back.

Up in the country, in the small town of Waimea. The Fish and The Hog is probably as close to heaven as you're going to get. The country vibe is through the roof in this place. Awesome. Mallani was all country. Very thorough, very kind, very caring. The food is definitely out of this world. Couldn't decide what I wanted. So, I got it all. (Sampler) was a winner. With fries and cornbread. Yessir.
The brisket Mac and Cheese is no joke. Its words can't describe the magic that happens with every bite. And the banana cream pie. Wow. Just wow. Oh my lord.

Get the fish and chips! So tasty and seasoned well. Fries were 7/10 and drinks were good and not over priced. Calamari was divine. Loved the sauce on it. Nachos were good, but i wasn’t a fan of the BBQ sauce on top. Overall, wasn’t disappointed with coming here! Customer service was great too.

BRISKET TACOS TOOK ME TO THE MOON TONIGHT! Parking was easy. Service was clutch. Banana cream pie was scrumptious. Highly recommend!

Very good food! Portions are quite big, waiter was friendly. There’s usually a line at the door but it’s worth the wait.

The Fish and the Hog is by far the best meal you can get on the Island of Hawaii. We dined for a week at everything from high end to quick service take out. If I had eaten at the Fish and the Hog the first day it would have been the only place I would have visited for ten entire week. They are famous for their bbq, fall off the bone, fall off your fork, lick your plate clean, can’t get enough of ribs, brisket, pork. The salads are fresh, the drinks are cold , the desserts are over the top, and the grilled pineapple with that sprinkle of secret red powder is to die for. I am going to say “just go” and indulge in Hawaii Heaven.

I’ve eaten a lot of BBQ all across the US and it was nice to find some really good smoked meat on HI! I got the platter with pulled pork, brisket, ribs and sausage. Everything was delicious! Now of all the meat the ribs were my favorite and the best. They have a good verity of food here so everyone should be able to find something and it was all top notch.

Absolutely amazing time! Taryn our bartender was so kind and patient while we looked at the menu, she answered all of our questions and made sure we all picked something great. Nick and Finn were the absolute sweetest people with great conversation, and stories! 10/10 would come back in a heart beat

Didn’t think I would find awesome BBQ in the middle of the big island of Hawaii, stopped here just due to the high rating and they absolutely deserve it. The brisket was delicious and there local take on original cocktails was very fun.

Great spot for lunch or dinner. There are some creative dishes and cocktails. Limited vegetarian options and a little expensive, but excellent presentation & staff. Totally worth a stop in.

By far the best restaurant we have eaten at here so far on the big Island about 45 minute drive from the Hilton Waikoloa village resort. This small town hole in the wall is worth the drive. Best prices I've seen and the best food. Their BBQ is good and the sausage is smokey. Great cozy atmosphere! Would love to eat here again!
