This is one of the best places to go for upscale seafood!!! The atmosphere is great. Also the service is excellent. We had two waiters that constantly waited on us. Our waters were never empty, we got fresh silverware with each course. The food is amazing! We got a seafood dip appetizer that was to die for. Then for our entrees we got the gulf fried shrimp platter and the bourbon peach char. The flavors were amazing! We got the strawberry cheesecake for dessert and it was the best cheesecake I’ve ever had!! Soooo good. I highly recommend going here for date night or any special occasion.

I wish I could have visited sooner. Staff was attentive even though it was busy and I everything was prepared well.

The clam chowder and Steamed Clams (Steamers) were amazing.

The burrata salad (big cheese ball) on the salad was worth trying but not something I would order again. It was plain and was a cross between mozzarella and cottage cheese inside.

The coconut line sea bass would have been better with about double or triple the lime. A hint of dill would have also been a welcome addition.

One of the best seafood restaurants we’ve been to. The staff was very welcoming. Drinks and food were equally good. Seafood and salad were fresh. Brandon was great, very knowledgeable about the menu. His partner Brooke was rude and had very little understanding about the menu..

This is a great restaurant right new WPI! My all time favorite for lunch is basil rice with salmon. This resturant is on the pricey side but it is So Good!!

I recently dined at this seafood restaurant, and the experience was exceptional. The freshness of the fish was evident in every dish, providing a delightful burst of flavors. Really was pleased with my first experience here. Very courteous staff, makes a pleasant atmosphere. Plenty of parking as well. Authentic seafood and plenty of options. Average price. No hesitation to go back or recommend this place . Only thing I'd change is the amount of cream on tiramisu, too much but otherwise very tasty. The highlight for me was the calamari, loved it!!

Great seafood restaurant. I recommend the lobster roll and key lime pie. Excellent drink selection and super service. Mark was funny and very attentive. I waited 60 years for a lobster roll and it was worth the wait.
Will certainly return!

Sole was great! Food was great, we went on a Saturday, had 7pm reservations and we got there a little early and did get seated at 7, even though they are busy on Saturdays, the service was great, food was great and came out pretty quickly. I would definitely recommend going here.

Our number one choice for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays and when friends or relatives are visiting. We’ve had one of the above situations three times in the past month. I can honestly say we’ve never been disappointed whether recently or throughout the 30 plus years we’ve been customers. My husband is hard to please and he says we are lucky to have The Sole. I agree.

Dinner and service were fantastic. We started with the seafood dip that was delicious, followed by their clam chowder and then our meals. My husband had the Seafood Saute, which is scallops, shrimp, and lobster with pasta injected with squid ink. It's amazingly good. I highly recommend it. I had their 2lb lobster. That comes with fries and coleslaw, but I upgraded and had it stuffed with 5 large scallops. I love coming here. Food is always wonderful, as is the service!

An excellent place to visit when you're in town. I have to admit that the seafood here is super fresh and flavorful. All the dishes came out amazing and delicious. Our host Marie is super friendly, nice and funny! She made our dinner meal much more enjoyable with her wits and jokes. I will definitely be back when I come visit Massachusetts next time.

Tips: make sure you call to make a reservation ahead of time because you don't want to wait in a long line.

I definitely recommend their fresh oysters and shrimp cocktails the most!

My Beautifully Wife surprised me with a reservation at this fantastic seafood restaurant, and I must say, it was one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time. As a Senior Couple with three daughters, we enjoy going out for dinner every week, and tonight's dinner was truly special.
The staff at the restaurant were incredibly welcoming, and the service was top-notch. The drinks were delicious, and the food was equally impressive. The seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection, and the salad was a delightful accompaniment.
I must give a special shoutout to Brandon, our server, who was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped us make some great choices.

We loved this place, some much we went twice during our 3 day stay in Worcester. The service is fantastic. They use a two servers per table to meet all your needs. They have great knowledge of the menu and provide great suggestions according to your taste. They are insistent that you enjoy your meal and will do what needed to make sure you are happy. The food is FANTASTIC. Everything we had during our visits was excellent with beautiful presentation and cooked perfectly. The restaurant was crowded when we arrived but there was no wait. The restaurant was clean and all of the staff was very friendly.
This is a must visit place, you won't regret it.

Solid place with a large menu. Shrimp and scallops with pesto pasta was great. Lobster trio was very good. Lobster lasagna, lobster tail with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Lobster bao was kind of plain. Seafood Cobb salad with green goddess dressing was incredible.

Always amazing service. Always delicious food. Gets pricey, but you get what you pay for and then some. The Tuna Barcelona keeps me coming back indefinitely. Key lime pie is one of the best north of Florida too.

The mixed oysters were delicious. Crab Rangoons were way better than the traditional Oriental restaurants. Bang Bang shrimp is highly recommended! Tuna Poke was good (difficult to compare to the Tuma Crisp at Silk). Service was amazing. Waiter offered to take our picture and was right on top of things.

What a delicious lunch! We had a lobster appetizer, and then I had the grilled haddock which was outstanding, With Roast the potatoes and sautéed spinach. Even the rolls were delicious! highly recommended!!

Excellent service and food. Got our water right away and submit our order. The appetizer came within a minute or two. The salads came just a few minutes after I finished my appetizer, then we got our dinner right way as well. The servers brought water frequently to keep our glasses full, and made sure we got everything we needed. The service could not have been better. My dad complains that the portions were too large. (He’s 90.). I enjoyed the tuna poke appetizer. The wedge salad was perfect, as was my haddock. Nice to save a little money thanks to “restaurant week.”

Excellent Lunch! Bang Bang Shrimp was lightly coated in sauce and not overpowering. Hot Buttered Lobster Roll was excellent as were the Ultimate Margaritas. Not many non seafood items but a few options for those less seafood enthused.

My new favorite fine dining experience in Worcester. Ernie, my server, really made the experience worthwhile I was seated quickly and placed my order right away after a number of excellent recommendations.

My first course the tuna app - was an excellent value for the price. It tasted fresh and left me wanting more food, exactly what an app is supposed to do. It is available on both the lunch and dinner menu. The salad that came with my meal also tasted great.

The real hero of the night was the Salmon. Excellent crispy skin and paired with a delicious sauce, it really made me wonder why I hadn't visited the Sole Proprietor in the past. It is far better and priced more reasonably than Sonoma or even its sister restaurant Chop House. I will be coming back soon and recommending it to many.

Fabulous place to try seafood. Loved the food, loved the vibe and yes reservations is a must. This place was jam packed on a weekday. Must try!
