I love this place! It is a big park in the middle of radford, alongside the might New River.
It has a docking area, many trails, picnic areas, playgrounds, dog area, and tennis/pickle ball courts.
The tennis courts are my favorites. It is very accessible and have many parking spots.
It is a family friendly area with many enjoying the activities along the river.

My happy place, Bisset Park! There's something for everyone. Various sports can be played throughout the park. There is alot of space for soccer or football and there are areas for volleyball as well. There has recently been added a basketball court and a skate park. There is a walking/jogging track that wraps around the park for those who are avid about the scenic views. Near the bridge is a split tennis and pickleball court, and there are three picnic areas spread evenly throughout the park for large or small groups to rent.

A great place to walk, play, picnic, tube, or swim. My dogs love getting in the river here. It's a dog-friendly park with lots of room to run. There are picnic shelters, playgrounds, and even bathrooms!

It's very peaceful there. My Wife and I took our dog Zoey for a walk there. So nice because you can see the river on one side and you have the park on the other. The dog gets some socialization with other dogs and other people. You can go there for picnics, they even have tubing there. There is a basketball court. There's just all kinds of activities you can do at the park.

Beautiful views of the river here. Plenty of restrooms. Plenty of For family. Seen a couple playing cornhole today. Actually found a geocache here too.

Bisset park remains as beautiful as it is nostalgic. Growing up here in the 80s and 90s, have many fond memories. Now returning back, it's exactly as I remember: trails, trees, playgrounds, all running alongside the magnificent New River. Highly recommend whether you're just stopping through or live here. Get some fresh air and relax by the river.

Bisset Park is such a wonderful place! It is my favorite thing about living in Radford. There is no other park like it in the New River Valley. Lots of play area's for the kids, a track, long paved trails for walking, running, and biking, picnic spots and shelters, boat landings, and a beautiful scenic view of the river. This is an excellent spot for fishing, tubing, and swimming in the summer. I love how well kept the park is. You have to visit if you're ever in the area!
Definitely checkout Wildwood Park as well, it is connected to Bisset Park. Great for watching wildlife, biking, or taking a nice stroll. Paved trails and off-road "hiking" trails.

Great place to start with river tubes and/or kayaks. Looks dirty in some places but once you're in the water it is so refreshing. The park also has some great trails and all the people seemed very friendly.

It's beautiful anytime of the year. My cousin loved the big leaves that were on the ground since we do not have that in Texas.

We come here all the time with our toddler and dog. Walk from our neighborhood a lot or just park near the dog park or playground and do a walk or jog. Very beautiful and usually well maintained. It does get muddy when it rains, but usually only in a couple of spots. There’s a boat ramp, playgrounds, baseball diamonds, tennis courts, historical marker at the west end, and the Riverway trail, which we use all the time. Great for biking too. My pics are of the trail/park right after it rained for three days and flooded the area. We were on Hwy 11 bridge. The trail connects to Wildwood Park and then goes along Sundell.

Beautiful place! A must for anyone who loves outdoors! Lots of things for kids to do, playgrounds, skateboard ramps, volleyball net, basketball court, bring your own ball.. Picnic shelters, lots of places along the river to have a blanket picnic, walking trail. I visited for the 1st time to attend a birthday party with a 2yo and 2-9yo kids. They had a blast and didn't want to leave.
