Foodland Waimea

Mandatory stop every time I visit Hawaii. The fresh poke is so good and the price is unbeatable. I always get an assortment and make a picnic out of it.

Overall reliable supermarket chain with fresh and wide assortment of products, including lots of brands and products local to Hawaii.

This had some higher end food items, which is nice to see.
Everything but the locally grown fruit is so expensive!

The score starts with the service, everyone was nice and attentive. The cashier asked me for my phone number. Not being local and usually turning this down, I said no thank you. She said are you sure, you may get some discount. So in fun I said sure, entered it and saved $9.00! The cashier and I had a great belly laugh and shared a smile. I have to do better with taking pictures of even the most common places I visit. But I assure you, Foodland was clean, well stocked and well serviced.

Amazing staff and a clean store! They had many things in their bakery and in their fish area. The store has a variety of things. This is the store to stop by if you forgot something😊. The cashier was kind and quick! Definitely recommend this place for groceries and party snacks!

The folks that work at this Foodland make the Foodland great. It's hard to find certain items sometimes and they're always so helpful. This Foodland is really well stocked and prices are more reasonable than a lot of other stores nearby.

The point system is very satisfactory, and we can even get airfare Miles by shopping in there. The prices are fair, but it’s understandable once we are remotely so to speak, all the way in Kamuela.

Friendly and kind employees and quality products. The store has one of the largest selection of locally sourced produce/products that are clearly marked so. The manager offered us samples as we were trying to decide between the Caracara and the locally sourced oranges. Great experience!

Super well stocked, very close to all the mega resorts

Excellent selection, great produce & meats and really professional, friendly pharmacy folks. The Pharmacy team always go out of their way to help me fill all my Rx’s quickly and accurately. They’re also very good at dealing with the occasional hassles with the insurance companies. They always go to bat for me.
I highly recommend this store and their staff!

Don't try to ask a question to any clerk unless they are a personal friend. Know where everything is or plan to walk the store. The staff is not eager to assist shoppers. But if you are friends of a staff person maybe they will help you. We shop here often and this is how we plan this store.

Foodland is great. It has everything you need and the cashiers are kind, patient and have a sense of humor. Dean out front collecting the shopping carts always wishes you an awesome day. We only went in for cream and coffee today. How can you go wrong?

This is my favorite grocery store for miles and miles and miles around. Usually a wider and fresher selection of produce than the shop across the street. Deli goods are very convenient. Good selection of beer and alcohol. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Plenty of trinkets for souvenirs and gifts, but also staples for everyday.
