Even though there are many people who think that BU is better than MCPHS, it is not the case, and due to the fact MCPHS doesn't get the respect it deserves, it is amongst the most underrated while BU is of the most overrated universities in the world due to its pitiful ranking compared with other, less selective universities, and ugly campus. In terms of medicine, MCPHS by far beats out BU with better biology, chemistry, pre-med, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, and MD/DO programs. My wife went there between 1999 and 2003 as an international student (first in Boston and then in the Worcester campus), became a nurse, and is now a nurse manager, making 6 figures. I however, went to Northeastern in 1999 before transferring over to WPI in 2000, and as an international student, I chose Northeastern over BU despite getting accepted to both due to the fact Northeastern is cheaper than BU.

According to MCPHS website, it said it is the highest paying and the most transformative school and the best value and mobility as well, but people keep on complaining and hating it. If MCPHS is bad, then Hieu Tran wouldn't have chosen MCPHS. From what I heard, Hieu Tran chose MCPHS for molecular biology over BU, BC, and UConn because MCPHS has good mentoring opportunities. If MCPHS wasn't good, then people wouldn't go there, but many people go there and are relatively successful, especially in Massachusetts because a lot of my coworkers went to MCPHS and are either managers or directors at my biotech company. At BU however, it is a school mostly for children of America's elite and it is extremely hard to get into. My son however, who is 12 years, autistic, and academically gifted is delusionally obsessed with Harvard and MIT to the point that he tries his best to go there even though it is not a good school. In fact, when BU students graduate, they are expected to make half the MCPHS alum, of which MCPHS is very nonselective (accepts anyone) and transforms them to the upper middle class, even if they come from a poor country in Africa. MCPHS offers better financial aid and they also offer financial aid to international students as well, making it a worthwhile alternative to BU.

In my opinion, even though I went to Northeastern, WPI, and then grad school at University of Houston, I do believe that MCPHS is not only easy to get into compared with other universities with lower social mobility like BU, Northeastern, and of course, Harvard and MIT, they are also very diverse, have a lot of great alumni, is a feeder to many medical and dental schools because I knew of a former MCPHS Boston student (one of my wife's colleagues) who went on to become a director of a medical department at Mass General, has good mentoring opportunities, the best professors, and high graduation rate.

Always appreciate this place. I enjoy having students check me out. They're very thorough. Great exams and plenty of glasses to find your best frame.

A sham and a total waste of time. I was not given either the free teeth cleaning or x ray when I mentioned that I would not be coming back for additional evaluation and service. Don't bother yourself with this sales come-on.
