Via Italian Table

Today, January 31st, 2024, I treated my Mom for a combination of late birthday lunch / Valentine's Day lunch . We decided to go to Via Italian Table in Worcester for their $10 lunch specials. Today was the last day for the day for $10 lunch meals . I ordered The Chicken Marsala, and my mom ordered The Shirmp Scampi, and we also ordered the Marzipan Cheesecake for us to share for our dessert. This was our first time going to Via Italian Restaurant , I'd definitely would recommend this place to so many people!! The food was so delicious 😋 !

The only thing was it was a little darker inside than we expected. Other than that, excellent service. No complaints whatsoever. I overheard fron the waiter at the table next to us he mentioned planning on doing this promotion again. Me and my mom would love to go to The Sole Proprietor in Worcester if they run this!! Promo again.P.S. great lunch enjoyed every bite.

The food was incredible. We had chicken Marsala that melted in your mouth. My fig and prosciutto pizza was also delicious. The wine flight was presented in a unique fashion, and allowed me to find a new wine. Overall great experience and we look forward to going back.

Amazing food, service, & atmosphere! The fresh Burrata salad, smokey mussels in a garlicky tomato sauce, and baked haddock were all incredible! Wow. Highly recommended!

Coming here was like walking into a time machine. We reserved, sat down, got our food, and all of the sudden, an hour passed in a blink of an eye. Food was immaculate,

Our waiter, Alex was outstanding. He had a great personality and handled out table of 14 with ease.
Overall everyone was very pleased with their meals. The prices were very reasonable. It was Saturday night so the place was packed and quite loud. We were seated right outside the kitchen so there was a lot of hustle and bustle. We would definitely return and recommend to others.

Lovely restaurant for small or large groups. It was only the two of us and the servers made sure we were well taken care of. The food was plentiful and absolutely delicious. Definitely will be back!

I’ve been here more times than I can count, but last night was one worth mentioning! It was pretty quiet which was sorta refreshing for a change. Our server Jeremy was outstanding! His product knowledge was incredibly impressive! We took him up on all of his recommendations and had No regrets! My red wine flight was excellent and the Tuscany Crusted Haddock & Braised Short Ribs, Both Perfect!! The ambiance was comforting and the environment was very inviting as always! This place never disappoints!!

We popped in on our way through town and I would 10/10 recommend anyone give them a try. We didn't have a reservation, but we were able to sit at a high top in the lounge area without a wait. We had chicken Parmesan, eggplant Parmesan, a meatball with sauce, the Insalata mista, and chicken orzo soup. We finished off our meal with the crepe cake and a gelato trio. Looking forward to coming back and trying more items on the menu!

Our destination for fine dining Italian. Cozy vibe and friendly staff. The grilled Caesar salad (yes grilled) is one of a kind. The shrimp scampi is so rich with flavor you ask for more plain pasta just to savor the remaining leftover sauce on the plate. Loved the chicken Parmesan too. Finally the layered crepe cake is a work of art and feels like a comfy bead. Tip: order the sauces on the side, we tried the chocolate and raspberry and there really good but try the cake first without.

Such a cute place that was recommended to my by my cousin! The interior was warm and cozy, the waiter a true professional who offered to make us lunch portions rather than splitting a meal, the chicken marsala was heavenly and they offer a very extensive wine list. I will definitely be returning!

Shrewsbury Street is the only place to be for great dining options in Worcester. We had our company holiday dinner in one of the private rooms, which was beautifully decorated. Our waitress was extremely attentive and accommodating. We ordered off the menu, rather than banquet style, and that was a delight. Their wine list rivals that of an upscale wine shop, and we ordered plenty. The main dining room is surprisingly large, but fairly dark, which was in stark contrast with the private rooms. I highly recommend dining at Via Italia Table.

We had a fantastic afternoon lunch at VIA! The beautiful weather prompted us to sit out on the enclosed but open curtain seating area. It wasn’t crowded and was quite clean. We were greeted at our table by Chadd, a genuinely wonderful server! Prompt, courteous and above all so friendly without being a hovering type of server. He was great with recommendations. I will say, what was greatly appreciated was not having that feeling of being rushed. We tend to order… talk a lot… order more, eat, drink.. talk more.. no feeling of being rushed, food was brought out timely and drinks were always filled. The lunch menu had a good variety of choices.. pictured 2 apps (which were outstanding) P.L.T & Mozzarella & House made Ricotta serviced with crostini & local honey. Also pictured, one of VIA signature pasta plates (orecchiette with basil pesto sauce), serving size was perfect and it was just delicious. We finished with the “Michelangelato Sampler” which was quite refreshing and enough to share for 2. A cappuccino to end a lovely afternoon lunch.

I've been coming here a few times a year since they reopened after the Spring '20 shutdown and really the quality and service have been top notch for the past year. Today I ordered the porchetta and it was honestly one of the best entrees I've enjoyed at a restaurant. The apricot glaze and the Tuscan beans with spinach perfectly balance the richness of the pork. Other folks at my table enjoyed the eggplant parm, the chicken piccata and the lobster risotto. I was too full for gelato but the rest of the party seemed to enjoy it. I also find the cocktails here delicious and effective 😂

The service here is impeccable. The two servers we had were very attentive and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The food was also amazing. I highly recommend the surf turf and pasta and upgrading to the grilled Caesar salad.

As someone who has Celiac disease, dining out can sometimes feel like a chore, but not at VIA!

I ordered the Braised Short Ribs with GF pasta (it’s normally served with Gnocchi) 🤯🤯🤯 if I wouldn’t have been arrested for being insane, I would have bathed in it! So tasty, so filling, and the leftovers are 👏🏻 chefs kiss!

We ordered the red wine flight, and now I am a drinker of red wine (which if you knew me would shock you), and although I didn’t get a GF dessert this time, I will next!

My first time at Via's recently and I am impressed! Although pricey, which is to br expected, the food all had amazing flavor profiles. I absolutely loved the ricotta ball with crustinis, the blend of cheese with the honey topping was the perfect bite. The chicken orzo soup was quite possibly the best soup I have ever had in my life! So flavorful and rich! And the drinks were perfection. To top the night, we had the Gelato cones, and the Gelato it's self tasted like it was straight from Italy. Creamy, but light, indulgent and flavorful! I can't wait to come back!!

They do a very good job on the gluten free pizza crust as well as the antipasto salad. Joshua was a great server. I will be going back.

I was in between giving a four star and a five star. I had to go five star because the price, to food ratio, and quality were unbelievable. I drove 40 minutes for a lunch meeting and totally worth it. The place was packed, and parking is very limited, so be aware of that prior to.
