This will be my last time at this bar…humf! Food…hit or miss, mostly miss, but best tater tots east of the Mississippi. Bartenders… phenomenal, Patrons…super chill, Atmosphere…perfect amount of dive, awesome Saturday day drinking. We fell in love at this bar and we will miss you. <3 M&M

The Tuesday special was fantastic. My burger with bacon and cheese was delicious with lots of sweet potato fries covering half of the plate. The TV screens were muted and golden oldies played in the background. Perfect. So was the $8.00 it cost for this great comfort food lunch.

Local Steelers bar! We were in town visiting from Philadelphia and found this place. Great crowd of steelers fans (obvi they're great!) and decent food and beer selection. They could have used a few servers since the only staff was the one bartender, but she was very sweet and did a great job! If we find ourselves back in Alexandria on game day, we'll be back!

Friendly bartenders, great food! Nice local bar with many seating arrangements and areas to enjoy different atmospheres in one same spot.

The Alley Cat opened in DC in what was Chatter Box. The food is much more improved, it has Moroccan and Lebanese flavors, along with some American favorites. The staff is very pleasant and the service was excellent. I will definitely be returning especially when they have live music.

I have had no issues since coming to this bar and grill. Ive experienced great customer service every time! Highly recommended!

A must see hidden gem with lots of regulars! This place is slightly out of the way for most, but boy is it good. Excellent parking, fantastic beer selection on tap ,superb wings and reasonable prices. I'm disappointed that I didn't check this place out sooner!

Quiet, clean bar and lounge with full kitchen. Diverse, friendly crowd of mostly locals. "Divey" in a good way. Staff is super efficient and friendly.

Update: Slated for demolition in the coming year, but still going strong summer 2022.

Highly recommended for anyone who likes a relaxed lounge vibe.

The chef is as amazing and suggested a new item she was working on. The staff was friendly and I didn’t feel rushed. The bartender did a great job making my drink for me. I would recommend if you want a laid back meal. It is also a Sports bar so if you like sports it would be a good place to enjoy the game.

Great atmosphere and food is always hot. Downstairs Is very spacious and great from parties, groups and birthdays. Downstairs also has pool tables and dart games along with touch tunes so you can control the music. Has a sports bar vibe to it. Upstairs is hookah lounge, music is a mix of r&b, rap, hip-hop and more. Wide selection of hookah to try and the drinks will have you feeling nice! Just one flaw, they don't have enough servers. Only 2 bartenders for both floors! They move fast, but when it gets packed be prepared for a bit of a wait to get your drinks and food. Now, you can simply walk up to the bar and order what you need instead of waiting as well. I am here all of the time and know just about everyone. This place is perfect for people who want to have a good time! The best days to come are wednsday-sunday around 9pm, if your looking to party.

It's a great place with friendly staff and great food. The crowd is very diverse and there is live music 2 days a week. Great atmosphere a lovely neighborhood bar and grill. Works well as a party venue or a first date location. Lots of fun and family friendly thought the week.

Pros: Great place for lunch or dinner. Even listening to live music.

Cons: Service is very weak. Server and Kitchen lack in communication.
Strobe lights are not good for some individuals. Bathrooms are filthy and need work.

Overall great location off 95! Easy access too.

Ive been here the past few Sundays and would highly recommend it. Its a little smoky but the atmosphere is great (not crowded) and they have plenty of TVs showing every football game. We encountered mostly non-Redskin fans, but just about every other team was represented. The Sunday brunch selections are very good, Id recommend the omlettes and the french toast. Also, there burgers and appetizers were good too, and reasonably priced. Id avoid the chicken wings, they were small and greasy. Beers are cheap- $1-$1.50 for Bud and Bud Light. I cant wait to go here on a Wednesday for $1 glass of wine ladies night. Also the lobster dinner is a great deal at $11.99. Plus they emailed me a coupon for a free bottle of champagne for my birthday!

The wife and I wanted to try something different. We pleasantly stumbled upon Alley Cat, and as soon as we walked in, Ben, knew exactly what we wanted and needed. From the fried Calamari (true Calamari), the steak Fajitas, Texas Chili with the side of spiced pepper garlic bread, and the numerous shots of a wonderful house tequila, everything fell into perfect place. Wonderful service and great food. Sometimes checking out a place in spite of crappy reviews pays off!! Be your own guide!

Best place in the DMV. The place to hang while avoiding rush hour(s). Home away from home and possibly the best bar food bar none. It the best place for Happy Hour. The gang is all here. Should have named it "The Winchester" but also could be "The Star Wars bar". Have fun and enjoy!!!!

This could be considered a dive bar. It is definitely place for Steeler's Nation, although they are not brazen about it. Any sports fan is welcome at this quaint place with plenty of character. The crowd is a little older, (not Social Security age, but definitely not a college bar). They have an extended happy hour with great prices and the food is good. Something that I have never heard of, they offer overnight passes so you can leave your car there without fear of it getting towed in case you opt not to drive home. Plenty of pool tables, dart boards, and a juke box with a great sound system. All in all a great place to spend some time.

Nice and low-key atmosphere, great hookah. Can be slow on drink orders because they go downstairs to the main bar for the drink orders but, comedy night Wednesday is fun, great laughs for up and coming comedians

Great food. Brunch is terrific. Dinner has morer to offer than a typical bar (love the korean steak tacos). 4.5 stars.

2y later - Up to 5 now...it is our go to bar and Eric is our favorite bartender. They don't do the brunch buffet anymore, but still offer terrific food (even the oysters on the halfshell are "safe"...) in a "come as you are" atmosphere

I had my bday party there it wasn't crowded they tended to us, drinks were good, hookah came without a wait and the atmosphere was excellent .... Great vibes
