Took grandkids for weekend and had a ball. Lady in restaurant for breakfast was so kind and sweet. Best service! Will visit again soon.

Great hotel and honestly the softest towels I have had in a hotel in recent trips. The breakfast was great and the breakfast staff was the best part. I forgot their name but a gentlemen and lady assisted guests, struck up conversations and made it the best part of the stay.

It was a great stay. Rooms clean. Conveniently located by a shopping center.

The Hotel is very nice , very clean , and the front desk lady's are very sweet an polite... we were there do to a family emergency an it was close to the hospital.. the front desk gentleman Ryan is amazing guy he helped get my nephew basketball out from under the van .. thank you so much for a great n wonderful stay . If we come back for visit or vacation. ... we will be back to stay very highly recommended 5/5.. thank u Ryan...

I always stay at this hotel when we are on the Peninsula side. It is tucked behind a quiet shopping center, off the main Oyster Point Road, and is convenient to grocery, restaurants, and City Center. The rooms are consistently clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the rates are reasonable. If you are visiting the area, it is also about 10-15 minutes to CNU, the Virginia Living Museum, and The Mariner's Museum.

There is so much around there. The room is HUGE!! Wheelchair accessible. Good buy!

What a great stay! Front staff was amazing, friendly, and helpful. The room was spotless and smelled nice. The sheets and towels were fluffy and soft. Breakfast was really nice and the wait staff was so friendly. Would absolutely want to stay here again!

Pre-pandemic, my sister and I stayed at Hilton Garden Inn Newport News (Virginia). The weekend of July 14, 2023, was the first time we stayed anywhere "post"-pandemic. We were always so pleased with our stay pre-pandemic that we felt confident it would be fine. And it definitely was! My sister and I love Hilton Garden Inn because they have both a microwave and fridge in the rooms. Essential for my sister's dietary needs. We also love how nice the employees all are. Part of my sister's and my mini-vacation is lingering over their wonderful breakfast bar. Everyone--front desk clerks, restaurant personnel, and those cleaning rooms when you meet them in the hall, always have a smile for you. The front desk clerks are so nice! I've had friends tell me how wonderful other hotels are (that are Hilton owned, btw), but we are loyal to Hilton Garden Inn Newport News because of how wonderful all our stays have been there.

The fitness room is small but has free weights
2 treadmills, an elliptical, one cycling machine and pulley multi-areas weight machine.

Roomed on the first floor at the end of the wing so it was convenient that the gym is right across the hall. If you buy the hot breakfast it comes with the baked goods, fruit, yogurt and juices, etc which I recommend. Place is located at the end of the street close to a cinema so it's quite secluded. Didn't get toilet paper in my bathroom but I was too lazy to call concierge and just used the face tissue available cuz I was only staying a night, oh well. Alarm clock has outlets in it which is handy.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the hotel was quiet. We interacted with maintenance and associates at the front desk, and both were responsive and helpful. We'll definitely be back!

The hotel is very well taken care of by management. It's squeaky clean, rooms are in good condition, and they serve hot breakfast. I had some issues with my first room, but the front desk staff immediately solved the problem, and I was placed in another room. Also, I forgot my swim shorts, and they kindly send it to me. The mattress in my room was super comfortable. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel during labor day weekend! Also, the location is super convenient - right off the highway, and moderately close to Virginia Beach and the Chesapeake Bay. Next time traveling, I’d stay here, in really clean and nice hotel, rather than paying for overpriced lodging in Virginia Beach.

Very comfortable and quiet setting but with plenty of restaurant options very close by and quick and easy access to the highways. The staff was friendly and the hotel was neat and clean. The room was big, was very clean, the beds comfortable and the bathroom was big with two sinks to accomodate my wife and I easily.

Very clean hotel with staff cleaning the common areas throughout the day. The men and women who worked the front desk were extremely friendly and professional during my three night stay. I like the way it is tucked away from the busy areas, but you can reach local destinations easily. Beautiful lobby area!

Excellent, quiet location yet in the middle of & close to literally everything. Lucky to have early check in available at 9:30 am on a Saturday after an 8 hour drive. Every single staff member was courteous & kind. The hotel was very clean, including the pool & hot tub. The food was delicious. Will definitely stay again!

I was so impressed with not only the staff, but the rooms and pool. My room was much bigger than expected. The pool, though I did not use it, was bright, big and clean. It was surrounded by floor to ceiling windows that had an outside view. You could also walk out of the pool onto a grassy area with tables and chairs. I will be going back in about 2 months and I promise you, I will be staying there again.

Amazing experience. The hotel was beautiful and the room was nice. But, the highlight was Skip the breakfast chef. We had the best conversation and he made a delicious omelet. If you have the pleasure of meeting him, remember to try the sausage gravy. I cant wait to visit again.

The staff is wonderful they do a great job! Very clean the rooms are nice and the beds are comfy. The whole hotel smells amazing. The pool is well kept and relaxing. I would give it more stars if I could!

Check in was a breeze. The ladies at the front desk were awesome! The rooms were clean and spacious! Beds, very comfortable. Breakfast, fresh and good. We'll definitely be staying here again.

We had a family reunion in Newport News and nearly 40 of us stayed at this hotel. It was very clean and the staff couldn't have been nicer! The lounge area was perfect for our gathering place and the breakfasts were wonderful. The hotel was easily accessible and a good value. We would stay there again without hesitation.
