Koopman Lumber and Hardware, North Grafton

Koopman Lumber in Grafton is awesome. I went in to ask how to fix a sagging door that would not close properly without lifting it up slightly. The gentleman who I spoke to said I most likely needed a longer screw that will go all the way into the stud instead of a new door. He brought me to the screws and recommended the one he thought would solve my issue. I asked if I needed to replace all of them and he said start with just the one and that should do the trick and it certainly did!
No pressure to upsell just good advice and said if that doesn't work come back and he would help me with a next step solution.
They are my hardware store of choice and will continue to be!

In my opinion this is the best hardware store in central MA. I frequently visit the rental and power equipment department and the service and knowledge from people like Curt is always top notch. If you live near Grafton and need Stihl, Honda, etc serviced this would be a good place to go. Renting equipment big and small has also been painless here. My Bobcat Skidsteer rental in particular went extremely well and the staff were very accommodating around pickup and drop-off times.

The store itself carries a thoughtful selection of very good brands across all departments and clearly some care and thought has gone into this location. More importantly, things are kept tidy and clean.

Also happy with the quality of grass supplies which have been fresh and clearly don't sit around too long. Nothing worse than nurseries and hardware stores that carry old and expired lawn care products.

Overall, this is my continued choice for buying equipment, supplies and hardware in the area.

Everyone working there is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We're lucky to have a place like this in town. Recently, Curt and Dave went out of their way to help with a project of mine despite the fact that I showed up just before closing time. I really appreciate their dedication.

Koopman is an excellent place to shop for just about anything. Their staff is knowledgeable and friendly and always willing to go above and beyond to help you out. The prices are fair and very rarely is anything out of stock.

Ken is awesome and extremely knowledgeable. Ken has made me a life long Koopmans customer. Our project is down the street from Koopmans. We have been there non stop. Ken is always available and actively sought us out, he is not the quintessential Home Depot employee. Thank you Koopmans and Ken!!

Koopmans is a hardware store that stands above the rest. The staff there is what makes it truly special. They are knowledgeable and always ready to lend a helping hand. You can always count on them to provide actual help, not just point you in the general direction of what you need. In fact, they will usually find you before you even have to ask for assistance.

Sure, you might have to spend a few extra dollars at Koopmans, but the level of service you receive is worth it. It's hard to put a price on having someone who knows what they're doing and can offer useful advice.

Anyone who doesn't see the value in shopping at Koopmans is missing out. Small town America needs more places like this, where the focus is on building community through great service. So do yourself a favor and head over to Koopmans for all your hardware needs. You won't be disappointed.

Great lumber yard. Very professional staff. It is also an excellent hardware and paint store, rental center and feed store. I have seen this company grow immensely over the last 25 years. They have it dialed in

In the midst of major yard work yesterday my husband pulled the ripcord out from our chainsaw. I went in to see if they could fix it and Curt fixed it while I was there. I was literally in and out in 15 minutes. Exceptional customer service! Thanks Curt!
Grafton Koopmans.

All the cement we could ask for! Ran in 5 minutes before closing, a hot mess trying to find the right drill bit. Thankful they stayed open a bit past closing to close me out. Thanks Koopmans! They are always super helpful, I especially like the free sample of paint each month. We use them as we figure our new paint colors!

Support local business! I have never been disappointed. The staff were nice, kind, courteous. Today I filled my propane for $15 and got a $15 coupon to use later… great!

Wonderful hardware store. In the spring they have a large assortment of plants,flowers and outdoor garden ornaments. They were very helpful when i needed to evict some mice that were in the attic. They also have a large annex with everything you need for painting. Last year my son and his friend painted the exterior of my house. They also painted 2 interior rooms. I always know i can find whatever i need at Koopmans.

Extensive tool section. Have good choice of rental equipment. They also sell feed for farm animals and cattle. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable.

Love where this store is located! So close to us for a quick run. Employees are also very helpful and store is always neat and clean. Only issue we’ve had is item selection/available brands not being what we expected but that comes with a smaller “home-town” type of hardware store, so don’t let that put you off. We are currently moving to a larger place so I’m sure we’ll be stopping here often in the next couple of months!

Staff is very helpful and store is well stocked. It's my choice over the blue and orange options even when it means driving a little further.
