Fantastic for a week long stay to visit DC during the cherry blossom festival. About 15 minutes to walk to the metro, safe area during the day. We were not out and about in the later evenings, so I cannot speak to the area at night. The room was clean and comfortable - everything we needed.

Breakfast was great and included with the stay, and we took advantage of that every morning. Cereal, bagels, muffins, yogurt, apples, bananas, oatmeal, eggs, and another varied protein product every morning. If I had one complaint on the breakfast, I wish it wasn't a sausage-based thing every morning. I would have loved to have seen bacon at least once. Maybe we just got unlucky.

Parking is $10/day, which is unfortunate. I booked our room months in advance before the fee was added (I booked in August 2023 for March 2024 and believe they added the fee in September). It would have been nice if they could have waived the parking fee for anyone who had booked in advance before it was added. It was part of why I booked this particular hotel. It's not a deal breaker though.

The staff is fantastic and accomodating. Every little request we had was addressed promptly and to our satisfaction. Check in and check out were smooth and painless. I was billed correctly for the stay with zero issues.

The clientele of the hotel were decent while we were there, and we experienced zero major disruptions, overheard arguments, or folks going wild in the hallways (fifth floor). In the morning, expect lots of school-age children and others as part of tour groups in the lobby and breakfast area, however. It can get a bit loud and rowdy.

Overall, I would stay again with zero hesitation.

We stayed here for 6 nights to explore D.C. and the area. It turned out to be a great pick. Breakfast is very good, large, clean rooms and daily housekeeping. The front desk is friendly and helpful. The only downside is the $10 parking fee. We used the car to visit the National Mall and all the other sights in the area. If you want to use public transportation: There is a free bus that takes you to the metro station

Best bang for for your buck hotel near DC! Safe location, clean rooms and hotel, friendly and hospitable staff, $10 parking per night, free breakfast, and manageable walk to metro even with kids.
The only possible negatives would be that the breakfast is a "get what you pay for" breakfast, and the room layout is very strange. There are separate rooms for the toilet and shower and the sliding doors for them don't have locks.
Needless to say, I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to DC.
Also, just FYI, there is no pool and no shuttle in case you were curious.

Entire staff that was encountered during this stay was extremely helpful & friendly. Hotel is in a quiet and safe location. Hotel on the inside is welcoming and relaxing!

This is a great hotel! While not in a very walkable area for bars and restaurants (it's on some main streets in a business/hotel area). The metro is super close. It is also a quick drive or cheap Uber into the heart of old town! I enjoyed the room (which was very clean and updated), the staff was helpful and friendly, the breakfast was simple, but sufficient. The parking situation was ideal and the area the hotel was in was very safe and super convenient.

Hotel was nice as expected. We stay in Marriott hotels a lot for cheer. My whole point in writing the review was to mention the outstanding service from Kianna at the front desk. She, at multiple times, was slammed with guests at the front. She maintained a fantastic attitude and was just pleasant our entire stay. Kianna is the type of person that would make me come back to place!!

Phenomenal is the word for this place ‼simply amazing
We had our church event
“The Light Of The World”
Everyone was so satisfied of everything
From our arrival to our departure. Everything was perfect no complications nor any complaints being such a big group, it’s understandable there may be a few issues, but that was not the case here.
Wifi da took care of all of us with a big smile in the cafeteria very professional I might add she made sure we were well fed and was there to cater to our needs.
Estefani Benitez took personally care of an issue I had. Most grateful for her personal attention to this matter of listening to and found issues. It was no problem thanks to her. In all a wonderful experience ‼ looking forward for a future visit. Why not make it an annual church gathering.
SpringHill Suites and all its staff have what it takes and more 👍
Thank you so much ‼

A wonderful place to stay in Alexandria. The front desk manager, Kiana, will give you the warmest welcome, and make sure your family is safe and comfortable at all times. You can't go wrong.

One of the nicest rooms I have had and I am a Hilton person. Separate shower room from toilet which is great for more than one person. Nice desk/ workspace separate from the beds. Even has a partition you can close for more privacy. Refrigerator and microwave. Very nice space. Wish they had a restaurant.

This is the cleanest and most well run hotel I have been to since the pandemic. The rooms are comfortable and immaculate. The breakfast is solid for a hotel (scrambled and hard boiled eggs, Turkey bacon, cereals, pancakes, bagels, coffee, tea, milk, etc.). The staff are genuinely nice and accommodating.

For parents with babies and young children, the hotel offers pack n plays, though we still brought our own. There’s a microwave in the room, and a desk that makes for a great changing table. The blackout curtains keep out the light, and the rooms are quiet…. Perfect for nap time!

I would highly recommend this hotel and will be thrilled to return during future visits to the DC metroplex.

I really need this hotel to give a pat on the back to KIANNA at the front desk! She was so kind and accommodating! Not to mention she made me feel good about myself and staying in the area. I really appreciate the down to earth but still professional service she provided. Please give her a raise!

Your facilities are beautiful and all your staff was nice! Amazing cleanliness!

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the lovely and welcoming staff and checked in quickly. They made the place feel warm and happy, which we really appreciated after the night we had. The elevator wasn’t stopping at the lobby so they went out of their way to help call the elevator down for us to bring our luggage up. This was also fixed the same day. They also gave us a welcome bag with a handwritten note, which was a very sweet touch. The room was simple and clean, walls a bit thin, but overall great. The staff always greeted us and other guests coming in and out of the hotel. These short interactions made a world’s difference and the stay was very relaxing because of it.

Stayed for a wrdding in the area and had wonderful service from the entire staff! Room was clean and comfortable and bathroom was very clean. The continental breakfast is as expected and changes daily. It was still the better of any I've had in the past. The elevator was out of order and repaired within an hour! The team is very attentive and respect will get you very nicely treated as a guest!

Clean rooms, great service and located minutes drive from Alexandria.
Enjoyed the vibe here, as well as the rooms. Spacious and decent layout. My toilet and my shower 🚿 weren't connected, which was odd but the toilet had a sink in the corner so it actually didn't see bad.
Microwave in room as well as a fridge. Spacious desk and a couch 🛋 even. I would stay here again.

The rooms are spacious and modern. This is one of the more modern and recelty upgraded properties in the DMV area.

Bed are comfortable. You have a mini fridge and microwave in the room. Break is one of the better free hotel breakfasts. Fresh fruit is the best part for me.

One downside to the location, is that it's loud. One side faces the train tracks and the other side the highway. So if you are a light sleeper this many not be the hotel for you.

There's a Wegmans around the corner, as well as a few restaurants and coffee shops.

This is one of my favorite properties to stay at in the DMV area. I recommend it.

Stayed 2 nights. Hotel has a nice complimentary breakfast, decent variety.

Staff attentive. Issue with trying to bring in luggage and items due to having to take items in to "lower" floor then via elevator to the 1st floor checkin.

Rooms nice but a little pricey.

Great location for exploring DC. 20 minute or less drive to most attractions. Alexandria is a great place to stay outside of DC. Restaurants in short drive or walk locations. Continental breakfast is the best I’ve ever had…ever!!!! Hot and different everyday.

We were here for close access to Arlington National Cemetery. We had an extended family member who was buried there with full military honors.

Recently my husband and I stayed at this location for a family event in the area. He booked the room last-minute, as our original plans fell through at another hotel nearby. We were greeted by Tyler, I believe his name was, and the service was outstanding. He was patient and understanding of our situation, and we greatly appreciate his professionalism. 10/10 would recommend this specific location to family and friends. Thanks Tyler and staff!!
