Tidewater Dental Arts

This was my initial visit to this particular practice and I was extremely thankful to the person who steered me in their direction.

It was a comfortable environment which is not always easy to pull off in a dentist office. The staff was friendly and efficient and made me feel like I'd been there before. The techs knew exactly what they were doing, which made things move quickly. I felt the doctor provided a thorough assessment and explanation of what needed to be done and when. And finally the checkout process was smooth and very informative on what was covered by my insurance.
At the end of the day I'd grade them an overall A+ and happy I found them.

Staff are amazing! Friendliest atmosphere with professional attitudes. Both the hygienist and dentist will see to it that you walk out feeling great about your visit. I had a crown replacement and they worked wonders trying to get it perfect as I was moving out of state within the next two days. Best dentist office I have ever been to and would continue to see if only we hadn't moved due to military orders.

This dentist office was great! I get nervous going to the dentist and Elaine my hygienist was so friendly and kind and made sure I was at ease the whole time. My dentist listened to all my concerns and spoke to me in a kind way so I would recommend them to anyone.

This place is amazing. I have been going to Dr. Stelmach for a few years and have never felt anything other than pleased when I left there. Conversations are great and the Dr. has a great sense of humor. The staff is very professional and are always kind. I love this office!! Highly highly recommend to anyone with or without teeth to make an appointment!!!

I don’t like going to the dentist but I do enjoy going to this dentist. Dr. Michelle is great and so is her staff. Ashley is the dental technician who works with me. She is great. I like when I have questions and she has answers. This is the dental office I will be sticking with. Keep up the excellent work.

I walked in the door for the first time ever and was greeted like I had been coming for years! Absolutely laid back, friendly and caring staff. You can tell they work well together and care about their patients!

Thankfully was able to find a dentist in VA from coming from TX, was super nervous but the staff and Dr.’s were SO sweet, and made me feel so comfortable. I also always had bad experiences at dentists but I’m very happy with Tidewater Dental!

I’ve been seeing Dr Stelmach and her team for years and have always had a great experience. From routine cleanings to more complex procedures they’ve always been caring, professional and have done excellent work. I’d recommend them to anyone.

OMG ! This practice is the best. The office knew about my anxiety and they made sure I was calm from the time I walked in until the time I left. I felt so comfortable! Dr. Stelmach is so sweet and nice. They are so gentle. I asked if I can hold on to something while they was numbing me and one of the hygienist gave me a green dinosaur to hold . I loved it !! Highly Recommend 10/10

It was bright and early with my appointment & all staffs are jolly😍. Very welcoming & friendly,, they take the time their time to get to know you & acknowledge what is your issues/ concerns. I feel at easy & at home. Thank you

So glad your office was recommended by our PT and thrilled you accept our dental insurance. My dental hygienist was Ashley and she made for an easy conversation and a pain-free cleaning. All of the staff was welcoming and quick. I am looking forward to many more visits over the years here!

As someone that avoids the dentist at all costs, I felt very comfortable at tidewater dental. The office is very clean, the check in staff very friendly, the most gentle dental assistant cleaned my teeth! Highly recommend them to anyone that is new to the area, is afraid of the dentist. Go for a cleaning and give them a chance, you won’t regret it.

They were so inviting from the moment I walked in and everyone was so nice. The dental hygienist was so sweet and told me everything she was doing. Kept asking if I was ok. She asked me about my kids. Made me so comfortable. I highly recommend them! I can’t wait to go back again!

We recently had to find a new dentist, and finding a Tricare provider is no easy feat! However, we are extremely happy with Tidewater Dental Arts. The entire staff is friendly, helpful, and compassionate. I highly recommend this clinic for adults abs children.

I’ve had been to a few different dentist in the area. However, I’ve never had a better experience like this, which is why I found the insurance in order to retain Dr.Stelmach. From knowledgeable dentistry, to the friendliest staff while having the office in a very nice location. You couldn’t ask for a better dentist. Due underlying health conditions Dr.Stelmach provided with knowledge on what my illness could do to my teeth while still providing me with care, understanding and delicate treatment. Recommendation isn’t enough, but I definitely recommend Tidewater Dental Arts.

I had a great experience with tidewater dental today. My teeth are so clean, and I was so pleased with their attention to detail. I am so glad they I found them!

The whole team here is excellent! I had extreme anxiety and they ALL made me feel at ease the whole time. Always attentive and making sure I was okay the whole time. Never made me feel like I was an annoyance or anything. 100% recommend them!

We recently moved here and I had anxiety about finding a good dentist here for our family. Took my kids here today (3 and 2 years old) and they were all so kind to both of them. The person at the front desk was very welcoming and kind. My kids instantly felt comfortable and were able to get their teeth checked out and brushed with no issues! The hygienist was really great with the kids and I felt they were very thorough. We will definitely be back. :)

I have never felt safe or comfortable at a dentist office before coming here. I have so much anxiety about dental work but the every person here made me feel welcome. They were kind and gentle and explained everything in advance which I appreciated.

I chipped my tooth and had to find a new dentist as mine retired. Everyone here from check in , the techs, doc,, and checkout were amazing. I had no pain and i felt comfortable there as i am usually terrfied of the dentist. The lady who did my debridement was so nice and explained everything to me . I go back in in a few weeks to get my chipped tooth fixed and a nightguard. Thank you again for getting me in quickly today and thank you for being so great.
