For Five Coffee Alexandria

The coffee, and food in particular, are amazing. The sandwiches and pastries in general are exceptional. The outdoor seating is a bit off road and pleasant. Classic shop in alexandria, where the food is pricy but reflects the quality. I found the chocolate chip cookie makes a good pairing with the mocha.

Everything I ordered was yummy, but the stand out for me was the Caramel Cinnamon Apple Cookie. I loved the fact that they keep the cookies warm so that could be devoured right away. It is basically like a mini apple pie but better.

Pretty little coffee shop next to the metro. I really liked their matcha latte I got! Will definitely go back for more when I can.

Coffee and latte are great. I usually order a cappuccino when I come here. ☕

Also it’s a really cozy place to take your laptop and work/study. 🤓

First time visiting For Five, double espresso made perfectly, staff was informative and gave me excellent customer service.

Went back next day with a friend and had breakfast. Oatmeal and Croque Madame, cappuccino and again the staff was excellent and chef charming. The locals know about this business, but visitors must go at least once. Their bakery selection is also sinful.

Loved this coffee shop! They have plenty of seating inside and out. Wifi is available and drinks were decent. The food was a little bit pricey but it was so good and filling that it’s worth it!

The place is amazing, so far the pastries are very good and coffee is wonderful. They have real baristas (who are warm and inviting) and hand make your coffee instead of some machine on auto-pilot. My favorite is their small latte, it's the perfect blend of Expresso and steamed milk. Unlike other places that have the automated machines and they serve you light coffee flavored warm milk. If you are a true coffee person and drink different coffees for the flavors and settled notes of different distinct flavors, this is the one of the places you have to experience.

Amazing food and high quality coffees. Sure, food is pricey but it’s really worth it. Especially the soups. Service is only slow when it’s rush hour and ten people walk in and ask for speciality drinks. With two folks behind the counter it’s going to take a second. But that’s ok.

Best cafe meets restaurant I’ve been to in Alexandria. The food was so good (so many healthy options) and the matcha was great. Great service, too. Oh and the cookies (we can’t wait to go back for those).

A great place to begin or end your day in Old Town. It's conveniently located across the street from the Metro and buses. Service was great and so were my Gotham Mocha and croissant.

Wow! What a great place for coffee, lunch and breakfast bites! Right off the King Street metro so very convenient. Got the Blue Owl Acai bowl, the Cacao pancakes and the Chai latte! My only complaint is the rude lady in front me of me who made the baristas wash every single dish they used to make her drink, because she can't touch dairy. Those guys handled it awesomely though!!

Excellent coffee, fantastic pastries / cookies. Also, they have one of the coolest set-ups for their espresso machines, with the group heads extending from the counter in sculptural chrome curved pieces (that look a little like giraffe necks).

Had the overnight oats. Really good! The toppings give it a nice blend of textures. And it tastes great. Very good coffee. Everything came out quickly. Indoor and outdoor seating is plentiful. And all the chairs and tables are well maintained, no wobblers. There were so many things on the menu I would have liked to try because they sound delicious, but I didn't have that much of an appetite because it was pretty early. I was really happy with the coffee and oatmeal, though. PS, you don't have to bus your table.

This place was so amazing! Very lowkey and comfortable. Sam was amazing and made my coffee like a pro! Even did some dope latte art for me! I will definitely be back!

Really great spot for coffee a few blocks from King St. and across from the metro. An added bonus is this shop sells pastry and breakfast items (sandwiches, bowls, etc.). A cup of Joe is a typical price for the area—but worth the taste. Outdoor and indoor seating with a great view. Drink/eat local and skip Starbucks!

We live just a short walk away, and finally got to walk over to give this a try… well… we’ve found our new weekend coffee spot!
The girls working this morning were so friendly, and my oatmilk lavender latte was incredible!

Gorgeous presentation and fresh flavor of the smoked salmon Sriracha toast.
My dark roast wasn't as robust as I'd like yet the food was so good I let it go.
