Mona at the front desk was very helpful with our stay , hotel is clean staffs are friendly!

Best place for the price!
Cheapest place you can get that does not have roaches.
Some rooms have been renovated and some have not.
Rooms are average size and clean.
Don't expect anything for breakfast except maybe a honey bun and some juice.

The motel was budget friendly. All of the staff were super friendly and kind. We would love to stay again any time. It was quiet and pleasant.

Nice hotel with good location and conveniently located. Staff is very friendly and courteous. Room is nice, clean and comfortable. Great internet speed, nice large TV, comfy mattress, fresh smell and soothing environment.

WE STAYED HERE LAST MONTH WITH FAMILY AND FROM STAFF TO SERVICE TO LOCATION EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT WOULD LIKE TO RECOMMEND TO STAY HERE AS NICE PLACE WITH BEST LOCATION .

The room was nice, clean and big. I had the room with a king size bed, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The bed was very comfortable, however the water pressure for the shower was not as strong as I would have preferred. Surrounded by restaurants and gas stations. Will definitely stay again.

Reserved the room at last minute. Upon arrival, greeted by nice lady at the front office. Check In was quick and location was quite and surrounded by lots of good restaurants and attractions. Room , linen and bathroom was super clean and smelled fresh. They had big 50" TV mounted on the wall so kids could play the game and killed time when it was raining. Room and lobby decor was modern and nice.

Room was okay and clean. Beds were comfortable and linen was clean. TV worked but the remote control was not so i was stuck with the weather channel the entire stay.

My sister flew from Texas to Norfolk, to visit me in Newport News. I convinced her to stay here, because it was located nearby AND the appearance was very nice! She had a great experience here, and is now open to staying at other Super 8 motels because of her experience.

I'm not sure about anybody else's stay. However, for my fiance and I it was very relaxing for a business trip. We were on the first floor. There were no bad smells or anything to make our trip unpleasant. My fiance and I slept well and the location was great. The only thing i did see was a cigarette hole in the sheets but it was of course a smoking room. Also that the shower rail was loose that holds the shower curtain. Otherwise, we had no problems.

I'm a Holiday Inn fan but chose Super 8 because it is close to the James River Fishing Pier and we had all our gear. We we arrived, the lobby was being renovated. I didn't mind at all. It seemed the owner took great pride in it. When we got arrived at the hallway, we noticed new carpet on the floor. Our rooms were fresh and clean. We were very impressed. So much so that we left our fishing gear on the back of the truck for fear we'd dirty the room. We slept well and the hotel was very quiet. Checking in and out was quicker. The staff was friendly. This is now our go-to hotel when we return.

Clean hotel and very welcoming & friendly staff. Lady at front desk have helped out with things to do in the area and very patient while answering. Floor was very clean and beds and pillows were comfortable. Internet was working and had good speed. Breakfast was basic and was decent.

Stayed here over the 4th July long weekend. Staff were welcoming and quick to check in, room had nice decor, flat screen TV, microwave, refrigerator and furniture with granite counter top. Room was cleaned and smelled fresh, mattress and pillows were very comfortable. Had breakfast in the morning which had good varieties. It was well worth for the price we paid and we will stay here again while visiting Busch garden and VA beach.

Thank you so much to Karishma for your wonderful guest services. I originally booked a smoking room and she went above and beyond to Get me in a non smoking room on very busy weekend. I highly recommend this super8.

We stayed here for 2 nights to attend the Dead and Co shows at the Hampton Coliseum. The room was clean and the staff was nice. It was a little noisy due to the room facing the main road but overall not too disruptive

I’m not sure about all the other negative reviews I had no problem with this place, it was clean, room as clean and had everything we needed and front desk had no problem helping us with anything we needed ! Would boom again

The A/C had the most terrible smell coming out of it we checked out of our room early it was very bad

Great pet friendly hotel, we stayed here for our visit to Busch Gardens. My only complaint is the smell of pot coming from other rooms, seems to be a common issue.

Felt safe being two ladies traveling alone. Front desk was very professional and helpful. Always made sure we had everything we needed.

We really liked this hotel. Walmart and shopping center close. Easy to go North or South. Would stay again
