The Point Overlook

This lovely overlook is easily accessible from Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park. I definitely recommend checking this one out if you’re in the park exploring and enjoying the views.

Views can be had from the top, but most people don’t bother walking the little trail to the rock outcrop. Westward facing, so it’s good for sunset. As is typical at most parks, with a little bit of hiking and you’ll quickly find some solitude. We almost always have this spot to ourselves to watch the sunset.

The most peaceful place to visit. Views on views.

This is one of the most breath taking experience here. The views alone, you can sit there for hours just gazing into the distant. Sitting there in pure joy in the wonders of God's creation. There's so many places to watch the view up here, but this one tops it off. All you can see are the mountains, sky and sun.

Beautiful Sunsets here.. Park along the road and then take a short 2 min hike (from the Appalachian trail marker next to the sign) to an amazing ledge to grab an amazing sunset view! Highly recommend during your visit to the Valley!

You will be in awe of the magnificence of Nature.... Just too gorgeous and can not be described unless one prepares a write up with apt words.

Beautiful spot along Skyline drive. I have stopped there in the past. Totally got to take the hike down the path.

Absolutely beautiful; the widest view we saw throughout the day! There's also an amazing little path that goes to a secluded rock that's great for pictures. The path back up is steep, but you should be fine if you're wearing the right shoes! 100% recommend.

Don’t miss the short trail! It’s a must do. Read the sign. The walk is literally like two minutes and so worth it. One of the best overlooks for such a short “hike”

There is a park fee of $30 per a car that you need to pay before entering the park you can also use the pass for 7 days recommend 💯 you must go also the dark hallow falls is local in this drive worth the visit.

Read the sign and take the walk if it's bright enough.

Follow the yellow brick red, ok so it's not yellow but there is a break in the brick and a path, follow the path all the way out, you won't regret it!

Good place to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, making it an ideal spot for nature enthusiasts and hikers!

There was too much fog for my pictures to come out good enough to show what I saw, but this was a great stop. Beautiful scenery (though hampered by heavy fog).

If you're into beautiful views and minimal walking/hiking then go here! Even if you want a nice spot to sit and look at the Shenandoah mountains, go here. Short walk (just past the trees)to rocks that give you an unobstructed view.
