I'm a coffee person, I love to experience different types of coffee, and young man did a great job, I loved how he introduced me of what I should get. He made some for me and then let me taste it first to see if I like it or not. I felt he cares about what I will be enjoying, that was awesome 👌
Thank you guys!

Loved ending our vacation here and this cute little roastery was the perfect fit. The old guys at the neighboring table were a hoot to listen to but may fall asleep. Fun crafts while sipping on a great cup of Joe here! The server, Kelsey, was a pleasant surprise and fun to talk to.

Riley, a guests dog, may possibly greet you at the door. Ronnie, his owner, will let you know what other gems are around.

A must visit place for the experience! The wifey loved it too!

It's how any small town coffee shop should be.. apple pay, phone number for rewards, an exquisite latte, and finally a cozy environment. Coffee doesn't come cheap, yet the taste is unlike anywhere else :)

This place is so cozy & quiet: an open space with just the right amount of local, handmade items to make it feel like home~~a great place to relax. You can play board games and draw on the tables with chalk. (And the coffee is delicious!)
Owners are friendly & will gladly share their knowledge of coffee/roasting.
Also have homemade bakery items, including gluten free options.
10/10 would recommend.

I love this place! Quality and freshness can't be beat. Coffee roasted in-house and I love that the owner strives for direct trade relationships with the farmers.

This is a cute little coffee shop. So refreshing to see that the mgt doesn't buy into the covid mask lies. Keep serving up that delicious hot cup of freedom!

My Wife and I were on vacation and found this lovely coffee shop. We had to stop everyday before heading out for our days adventure. The atmosphere and most importantly the coffee are fantastic. They have a homemade pumpkin spice for their “Autumn Glory” latte that is the best I’ve ever had. We will be stopping in again whenever we are nearby!

My wife and I went to Massanutten on our honeymoon and were looking for good coffee nearby as we are caffeine addicts and love a good local cafe. I found Blue Elk on google before we left and we decided to try it on our first day. We went back every day that week (except Sunday when they’re closed). Their coffee is roasted in house and it’s fantastic. I fell in love with their Autumn Glory. The staff is very friendly and extremely nice. We liked it so much we went back for our first anniversary (to Massanutten specifically, but Blue Elk was definitely a point of interest). Even got Mugs and a Christmas Ornament and K Cups. Please stop by here, you’ll love the Coffee, Atmosphere, and the people.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Absolutely LOVE 💓 their coffee🍵☕. This small shop is an excellent place to stop and grab a hot, yummy drink. They have imported coffee that is VERY fresh🌿! They roast the beans in-house, and if you haven't been there when they roast them, you should make an effort to do so. It smells amazing!! I buy their whole beans and use them to make my coffee at home. It is quite remarkable! Every time I go in to buy their coffee beans, the date on the package is the date of my visit 👍👏. It really doesn't get much fresher than that y'all! Unless, of course, you have a coffee bean tree 🌳in your backyard and you enjoy picking coffee beans from your tree first thing in the morning, roasting them, and grinding them to make your early morning brew. ⌛🤷‍♀Yeah--didn't think so. 🤣 Recommend this to everyone!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We have previously enjoyed the hospitality of beautiful Elkton and the cozy welcome to the Blue Elk several years ago, so we could not resist a return visit when we passed through town again, recently. We were not disappointed! The Blue Elk Coffee Shop still has that great vibe, excellent Fresh Brews, and hometown welcome. Thanks & CU again.peace n love

Delicious coffee, pleasant atmosphere, welcoming staff.

After purchasing an espresso machine, I became a more stringent coffee drinker. The Blue Elk coffee met (if not surpassed) my standards: the cappuccino is creamy and smooth. The double-walled glass in which it is served makes the drinking experience even better.

Whenever vacationing at Massanutten, I will make a point to stop by this coffee shop!

Super friendly people and great spirit to found such a unique place in this village in Virginia! We liked the simplicity, the very true approach to fair trade of coffee and the obvious joy to provide something very special. Most inspiring! Best coffee break ever - on our tour from Monticello back home to NY. Big THANK YOU!

I love this coffee shop. My son and I came in on Mother's day weekend. The coffee was absolutely wonderful. The service was fantastic and the coffee was so good. I will be visiting more often, now that I know it's there (so lucky it's close to my house). Prices are extremely reasonable. I think the coffee is better than....dare I say....Starbucks..gasp! I highly recommend this coffee shop.

I really like the Blue Elk coffee shop in Elkton, VA. It has a friendly and comfortable atmosphere for visiting with a friend over a good cup of coffee. I like that it’s locally owned and part of a small town. Jeff and Nova are friendly and create a menu with adventurous coffee combinations, as well as having “plain ole black coffee” There are musicians on Saturday mornings who add even more to the experience and now they have homemade ice cream too!

Blue Elk has that great modern venue in a small town vibe that I just love. They had everything I could have wanted like hot cocoa and oat milk, coffee beans, and k-cups to take their coffee flavor back home with me! They also have CBD shots which helped me relax a bit. ;)

Blue Elk is one of our favorite coffee shops in the area. Everything I've had is delicious and the owner, Jeff, and staff are great. I am a big fan of their "Elkspresso" blend and have purchased a number of bags of it in whole bean for home.

The Blue Elk has the BEST "small town, everyone is welcome" feel of any coffee shop ive entered...and ive been in coffee shops all over the world! The large variety of refreshments only adds to the wonderful atmosphere!

Incredible coffee shop. Very friendly and knowledgeable operators. Everything roasted and brewed on site. Good prices on top of all of that and a cozy little place.

Nitro iced coffee recommended, and the Autumn glory seasonal drink, and any hand brewed coffee. Cookies are good, and little gluten free snacks for celiac sufferers. Much love for this local treasure.

Fantastic coffee shop! What a great surprise in small-town Shenandoah Valley, Virginia. The house coffee was very good and you can get just about any made-to-order drink here hot or cold. Enjoyably unique interior design. Lots of homemade goodies to go with your coffee. Fast internet and multiple outlets with USB charging ports built-in. Clean bathrooms. You must visit this place once but I would definitely make it a regular to visit.
