Stonewall Memorial Park

Very fun place to go. Nice memorials and pavilion along with a track and baseball field and tennis court and basketball court. There's a playground and water pump. And there's a bathroom. As you can see this place literally has everything. You can sled down the hill and and walk over the frozen pond there sometimes. Goofy ah

A nice park with a great walking track. There are good facilities here if you need to change before heading out to walk. Plenty of parking right there, definitely a bonus. If you have kids there is a good selection of slides, jungle gyms, and playground equipment. I would recommend it for taking a walking break or grabbing lunch in the sun.

I grew up playing on this park 32 years ago.. now my son gets to grow up playing on it! Lovely area for the family to enjoy..

This is a beautiful park located in Elkton, Virginia. It features a large playground, swings, tennis courts, pavilions, and a newly finished paved walking trail that now encompasses the whole park.

Really Enjoyed the Walking Trails and the Steps going into the Park... Have trouble with Sciatica and Seems to Really Help!!! 88 steps each way... Good Work Out!!! Keep Working on Running Up those Steps One Day!!!!! Check it Out!!! Everyone that I come in touch with... Really Friendly!!!

Beautiful park! Drive from Ruckersville because the playgrounds and park in Greene County are terrible. The landscaping and playground in Elkton is amazing!

Beautiful location with many things for children to do. Bathrooms are a little rustic but wonderful to have access to facilities! The pavilion was a great spot for our groups lunch.

It was fun. It's my cool playground. Everything to play on is cool. (My baby girl. 5 YO)

Absolutely beautiful and lot and lots of cement paths to walk. Fabulous playground for the kids 👏 👍 😀. Jungle gyms, slides, swings, etc. For all ages.
Ball diamonds, soccer ⚽ fields. Beautiful views of the mountains. Plenty of parking. A 9 11 memorial site, which is beautiful and makes you cry.

The town very recently upgraded the equipment from old wooden playsets to three much more modern playsets. My 3 year old really enjoyed playing on the new equipment, and I LOVE the new equipment because there are no more splinters!! The pavilions are great places for birthday parties, or any event really. The park is always clean, and well-maintained. A great place for kids to burn off some energy--without burning a hole in the wallet (parking and playing is free, only the pavilions for events cost money).

Great park for a small town. Has reserveable picnic shelters, tennis courts, large play area with various playground equipment, Blue Sox baseball field, paved parking. The hill is really nice for sleigh riding after a snow.

Could not find outdoor tennis courts near Ruckersville and Stanardsville so called Elkton Recreation and Parks. They suggested Stonewall Park. 2 almost new courts in excellent condition with pavilion and restrooms nearby. No lights. Had a great time and will definitely return. Recommend highly!

Lovely city park with a nice flat and paved walking path approximately 1/4 mile around, great for someone rehabbing a bad knee!

Clean, pleasant, good place for walking, running, lots of things for the children to do.

In Elkton, VA. Easily accessible, nice family park dedicated to all veterans and those who sacrificed their lives. Very nice playgrounds for the children, ball park, tennis court, walking, jogging, skateboard maccadem track.
