Food Lion

Awesome employees, but Food Lion has always been lacking co pared to others stores. It certainly serves the purpose, but there is plenty of room for improvement.

Always a positive experience at this food lion. All the employees are extremely friendly and reliable. Shout out to Dalton for always greeting me coming in to the store and helping me find stuff. He is a good element for Food Lion and has great customer service. 👍I own a restaurant and he always helps me out when I need something.

I’ve been coming here for years now, and I’ve come to know lots of the workers on a first name basis, and even consider some friends. I always look forward going grocery shopping knowing I’ll be met with smiling faces, but the one worker who’s stood out above and beyond is Dalton! He is very courteous and professional and you can tell he really is passionate about his customers and job. He holds the front end of the store together and really has everyone’s back when it’s busy. Give that kid a raise!!

Just wanted to compliment the hard workers who make our home town grocery store that much more special, The young man Dalton helps run the front end in such a professional upbeat way, Dorothy always puts a smile on everyone’s face! Moved to the area August 2022 and have shopped/ordered groceries from here at least once a week. Every visit has been great. From helpful and friendly employees, great selection of products, to reasonable prices.

Always very clean with excellent friendly customer service. My family shops here multiple times a week. Most employees know us by name. We have watched several employees start here as their first job and grown up while working here. As they have grown older they have also grown and risen within the store. This place has the feel of an old school neighborhood grocer. Same smiling, helpful faces year after year.

I love Food Lion. And I'm thankful they are here. They are friendly and professional. kroger on the other hand has a rude management and they close at dusk. This is a farm area and people work at distances. You can't come home and cut your grass or feed animals. Then go to shop there. Because they close so early 9pm. Your greeted at the door by an employee telling you exactly how many minutes you have to get inn and out. They don't even turn there open light on.

Shout out to Marcus in the Dairy section today. He went above and beyond checking the just arrived pallets looking for Organic Milk for me (my grandkids are visiting). I really appreciate his effort!!

It was better than the ones in Hampton/Newport News

Food Lion is always the best for prices and for having what I need

Cashier was a lot of fun we talked about the NFC EAST while she.rang up my purchase.Different teams but we saw good in each team Food lion has a great employee.

Angel shopped my order...she was fantastic! She was very thorough and helpful!! Also, there was a young man collecting the baskets in the parking lot. As soon as I pulled into the pick up spot... he stepped rt in and asked for the name on my order. He took initiative. Instead of having a "not my job attitude (as so many people have now a days)." I didn't even have to call. He was very helpful and friendly! I always love coming to the Carrolton Food Lion!! Best service and products!

Just went into the store for the first time since the remodeling. Really like the new look but wasn't in there long, just had to pick up a few items. I will say that the staff was very helpful with answering questions and getting a new propane tank. Looking forward to checking out the new setup in the deli and will let you know how that goes

The Staff is very friendly and helpful...I had trouble with the electric cart and was stuck at the back of the store. Several employees stopped to help me. and brought another one to me and changed my groceries over. .then,when I was checking out the same young man asked if I needed help out. I am very satisfied with the service at the store and will keep going back and I will recommend it to all of my friends. ....

Everybody loves they're hometown grocery sto- this one is mine. Full of my daughter's friends tho, every trip is a class reunion...but seriously, lovely employees, store is always stocked and clean. But please for the love of God bring in the little carts more often

I love this food lion! The aisles seem wider, it's cleaner and the employees are super nice and helpful. The best part is the self checkout kiosks! I wish this one was in Newport news!

I I have always loved this Food Lion but it used to be only for the staff and service. They are currently renovating and, although it's taking some time, the store is improving greatly as far as stock is concerned. Now I love it for the staff and the selection.
