Good food makes me so damn sleepy 💀. Best Jamaican food in 757. Ik many people say it but it’s true. Hampton has Caribbean and they’re pretty terrible honestly.
Their oxtail, jerk chicken, and goat are fantastic! Honestly I don’t get the stew chicken because it lacks spice and flavor personally.
Their jerk sauce is a secret recipe, I get it on everything! It’s really tasty in plaintains 🤧
I read reviews saying their oxtail is expensive, that’s because they need to be ordered and supply/demand. It’s about $8-$12 per pound. They possible broil or pressure cook their oxtail so the fat and moisture makes them look smaller which all goes into the gravy. It’s a fantastic deal for this area.

The prepared for was great and affordable. Also, being able to buy items not found in a 'regular' grocery store helps me a lot.

I have been here quite a few times. The lunch special is a awesome deal. The food is always good & fresh. I would suggest bringing cash if you want to leave a tip. The staff is always super sweet. Oh my goodness this place is AMAZING!!!!! The food was hands down some of the best food I've ever had in my LIFE and I have moved all over the US!!! You MUST try it! $5 for this huge dish pictured!!! If i could give it 10 stars i would!!!!

This place is always on point. Great value for the money and the food is always perfect. This will always be my place to go for comfort food. One suggestion: Keeo some sugar-free or diet drinks in stock, some of us can't have a lot of sugar and would like something more than water.

The food, the vibe is everything. Customer service is top tier. We went yesterday because I was feeling oxtails, they were doing karaoke and had my mom sing lol, I went back for a plate for a friend and sung and song. Definitely 10/10 will be back again.

My favorite place to eat at when I’m in town!! Me and my boyfriend LOVE the food choices and being from New York this is the only place that can even come close to the Jamaican restaurants back home.

I read some negative comments. For my experience, The 2 ladies there were nice and respectful. No issues with the customer service. Alot of people come for the cooked Jamaican food, so the line can be a wait because of only one cashier, but it's completely worth it. The food is seasoned perfectly and that jerk chicken taste like it's been marinated over night. They did not dissapoint on that jerk chicken from the seasoning to the spices, it was perfection. I was a new customer and now I will become a regular and the portions are enough to share with 2 people. Very satisfied!

Servings are more than adequate. This place is great. The shop isn't big but you can surely find a few authentic Caribbean treats.

Update: been going here for seven months now and they have been very consistent. Very nice individuals and they care about quality.

Visited for the first time yesterday. The food was so good I HAD to come back today. Oxtails are super tender and flavorful. The fried dumplings were perfect. They have their food out early so it’s perfect for stopping in and grabbing a quick meal for later. The menu is extensive and the staff were friendly. Ignore the posts about rudeness. Come on in and enjoy. Cowfoot soup on Wednesday!!!!!

By far the best Jamaican food I've had since moving from DC. The staff is friendly and the portion sizes are generous in comparison to other places for a great price. This is a hidden gem!! They'll see me once a week!

One of my favorite places to get Jamaican food from. Reasonable prices and plenty of food though the consistency of fullness of the plate also depends on who’s working at the moment but regardless, great food at such a great price. One large plate can easily feed 2 adults plus their jerk chicken never disappoints! Delicious mac and cheese too.

I was in town to get service on my car. When I was told it was going to take 2.5 hours MAX I started asking about food. Most of the people suggested this place and all I heard was Jamaican and I was on my way. The jerk chicken is so flavorful and spicy I had to leave comment! The ladies that were there were so nice and generous, I appreciate it very much. I can’t get food like this at home SO I will most definitely come back and suggest to friends and family.
