First time having authentic tacos!!! And I was blown away. The food is cooked right in front of you if you sit at the bar. Everything is made from scratch even down to the tortillas. The tamales!!!!! CHEFS KISS..

ILL DEFINITELY BE RETURNING TO TRY OTHER DISHES.

Mexican food done right. Very tasty. If you don't speak Spanish, be prepared to point at things on the menu. They have aguas frescas that change from day to day. Otherwise grab a drink from the store it sits in.

Don't forget the amazing food. The service is amazing and so are the people who work here!..... Update. Been 5 years since I've been here and the first thing I ate when I got off the plane was 5 tacos. Food is so amazing

They have pretty good variation of authentic Mexican food, the best are the tacos, we did try other stuff like dopes and burritos and everything was good, with a good tastes, the only think I didn't like was the fact of they warm some stuff on the microwave, but I will said is ok because it was just a little bit and they made it special for my boy. The store have pretty good variety of Mexican and other country's food and stuff. I will definitely go back. Oh the Horchata is so delicious too...

I drive by this place at least once a week and by word of mouth it was recommended to me. What a gem. The store is small and the restaurant is in the back. No frills, just authentic Mexican food. I wish I would have stopped sooner. We were greeted by 3 people as we went in and greeted when we sat down to order our To-Go food. You can also sit in the small restaurant if you would like. I ordered 2 Tacos Al Pastor ($2.35 each or $1.99 on Tuesdays. It was tender, juicy and marinated well. They prepare and cook the food directly in front of you and the tortillas are freshly made per order. Tender and juicy with a ziploc bag of a cup of pico de gallo with fresh limes included for the tacos. My sister ordered the Chicken Flautas. Six of them (about 1 inch by 5 inches long). It came with Cotija cheese on top, not parmesan as mentioned earlier in a review. It came with a simple salad with tomato, onion and avocado. They served the flautas with a red salsa and a green salsa. We topped it off by sharing a 32 oz. Horchata fresca ($3.29) which tasted like fresh rice pudding but in a drink style. Que rica. How delicious. This is located in a strip mall on a busy street. It is not a scary area. This is not a typical mexican chain type of food. It is authentic and made in front of you so prepare yourself to wait while they prepare it fresh for you. You will not regret coming here. It is well worth it. Coming from New York and New Jersey, this is a typical mom and pop authentic Mexican restaurant. Very small but very good. Enjoy!!!

Growing up in Arizona, the tacos here are “authentic”. They’re unique because it’s the only place with handmade tortillas. Lastly, prices stayed reasonable and aren’t pandemic prices.

Hands down the best tacos & tamales in the 7 cities. I get the frozen ones to take home too. The entire menu slaps (is awesome). No booze, small eating area, no problem. My favorite Mexican in Virginia.

Easily the most authentic and delicious Mexican food I've ever had, to the point that I would recommend brushing up on your Spanish before trying to order, but it's definitely worth it. I had the carnitas tacos, and they were some of the best tacos I've ever had.

This place is a tiny taqueria mixed in a store but the food is really good and so tasty. This is what you find in a little traditional Mexican store. Try the tacos for two dollars a piece. Homemade tortillas and cooked right in front of you.

Been there twice now, sometimes when you visit a place you might think the food is amazing but you go back and you wonder why you went there in the first place. Let me tell you this place will have you going make many times. Tried them again today to see if the first time was real, it was. Very good food.

Authentic is an understatement! This place is one of those hidden gems only known by spreading the word mouth to ear. I stumbled upon this place while getting a tire repaired up the road and stopped in for lunch while I waited. Ah-maz-ing!!!! Tortillas are pressed out in front of you and cooked to order. Meat is freshly prepared by order, soups are available on a rotating basis, and they even have Cachete(beef cheek) on occasion. I love the tacos and tortas from here and my kids love the quesadillas though large enough to feed all four of them. Stop in for a humble trip to mama's kitchen.

Chipotle might be known for 'fresh made to order' food...El Viejo Jalisco is all that AND their dishes actually have authentic, honest to goodness FLAVOR! I need to sample their entire menu. I didn't ask, but I'm pretty sure that their hot sauces are made in-house and are awesome. My next visit I'm asking if they sell it by the bottle. Hand rolled tortillas! Rotating soups on the weekends; Menudo was awesome (wished they delivered that perfect 'hang-over' soup!) - A/ATW
