Iris Garden Inn

I am SHOCKED by the reviews of this place. Glad I didn’t listen to them. This was a GREAT stay. We stayed 3 nights and had an amazing experience. The staff were friendly enough, not overly talkative. Every thing was very clean and tidy, with housekeeping daily making the bed and bringing fresh towels. The breakfast was typical continental, but great. Nice mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in room. The bathroom was nice and clean as well. Great location about 8 minutes from everything in downtown Savannah and about 25 minutes from Tybee.

This is not a 4 or 5 star resort. The sink didn’t drain properly and the carpets looked worn in certain places. However, for the price we paid, this was a wonderful place to stay. It’s close to the Historic District and River Street and it wasn’t too far from the airport. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the breakfast was pretty good. It was an excellent place to stay and, like I said, for the price point, it got 5/5 stars from us!

Maybe other people had different experience but I found the hotel very good value considering its price. Rooms are a bit stenchy and old but what do you expect at this price point? No bugs and clean towers and good breakfast as you can see in the photo. Every staff was nice, helpful, and hardworking in my experience

Had a great experience here! Check in and out was super fast and easy and the room was super clean! Beds were insanely comfy for a hotel too they have high quality linen. Lobby was super nice and modern, rooms were a bit dated but it’s Savannah so almost every building is going to be historic so expected. Was only 10 min to downtown too.

5/2/24 Manager on duty Megan aka "Karen" white with blonde hair @2:30pm tried to open door but security lock was on. Asked for corporate number and gave us the front desk number and told new lady to "hang it up". Manager on duty megan attempted to charge my card without my permission. No complaints on service or anything else, the owner is very nice.

Stayed here for 2 nights and I have no complaints!! Room was very clean and nice. I would definitely stay here again! Enjoyed my stay!

I was kinda skeptical after reading the reviews but after having stayed there this past weekend, I have to disagree. (considering I've been in far worse hotels). Check in was fast. The room was great and the price was perfect. Close to downtown Savannah and Food Lion. Clean towels, hot water, nice size tv and comfortable bed and pillows. Not a variety of food selection for breakfast but it was ok. I would definitely stay here again.

What a great little hotel! Not the newest, but there was nary a bug nor stain in sight. The room and bathroom were clean, there was a fridge/freezer AND microwave! Complimentary breakfast with eggs, sausage, waffles, baked goods and more. 10 minute easy straight shot into historic Savannah. I'll definitely be coming back next time I visit! (Only downside was water pressure in my room wasn't the greatest, but if that's the only negative, I'll take it!)

So, wait!?! There's a pool!?! I guess I've not walked around the place to find it. I've been here for five weeks and I've not seen it. But the breakfast has been the same thing... every day... for the last four weeks. Switch it up every so often. The cleaning folks are super friendly and the staff at the front have been awesome. I'm sure they're super bored. But they do a great job. And it's totally worth the money as it's the cheapest in town.

We stayed last minute and had an amazing room. Very clean and spacious. Beds were very comfortable. Very quiet, and I have toddlers with me so that says enough.

Found better prices on a 3rd party app, but check in was a breeze And front desk was attentive and kind to my children. Stayed a couple nights and was only 30 to 40 mins from the beach!!
Gym and 2 dollar washers ...

If you're looking for 4/5 star hotels, don't look here. It is very much a 2 star hotel. Rooms are clean and comfortable for weary visitors to city. I never actually saw a pool, so pictures are misleading.

Couldn’t beat the deal on this hotel, was a bit skeptical at first until I got there and the room was nice and the surrounding area was quiet at night. If a little chipped paint doesn’t bother you then definitely book your stay here!

Only issues I saw here were cosmetic. Scuff marks on the walls, not the greatest paint job and some dust in the corners. But the rooms were clean and the bed was super comfortable. The water pressure is great. There were no mysterious stains or smells. Could probably use more towels. Everyone’s very nice, and it’s pretty quiet. Breakfast is good. On top of that, the price can’t be beat. Surprisingly good quality hotel for the price. 10/10 would recommend.

We came to Savannah for a quick three day trip with friends. The hotel looks brand new. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast area was very nice and modern. They served the usual cereal, bagels and toast along with biscuits and gravy, eggs and waffles. The room looked brand new with beautiful white bedding and clean carpet. The bathroom was roomy with enough counter space for all our toiletries. The shower felt spacious with plenty of water spaying me. I felt like the hotel is in a convenient location. It’s not right there in Savannah but it didn’t take but a few minutes to get wherever we needed to go. We would definitely stay here again!

Room is great clean and comfortable staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Housekeeping great. We were only staying two days I just extended it an extra day.

The hotel staff were nice and professional. Front desk and housekeeping were great. My room was very decent.

I give 5 stars for this place. It's clean, the staffs are helpful and friendly, breakfast exceeded my expectations. For the price this is a really good place to stay, plus they offer free shuttle to and from downtown!!! After checked in to the room, the front desk even called to make sure if everything is good. I seriously can't find anything to complain even if I try. Highly recommend!
