Pancho's Villa Mexican Restaurant

1st time here...and we sooo enjoyed our food! The wait staff was so friendly and the restaurant looks like a little dive but cute! The enchiladas smothered in case was so incredibly tasty! And the crispy shredded Pork tacos was delicious and the chili rellano was good but felt the sauce on top needed a little bit more flavor, I added a little salt and it tasted better to me. Overall really enjoyed it and can't wait to go back and try some more items!!

It has been a long time since I've been here and my wife has never been here. So we decided to go and the food was amazing.

BY FAR our family's #1 favorite Mexican Food joint in the Tampa Bay / surrounding area! Great food, great service and a nice change of atmosphere compared to most restaurants around. We are impressed more each time we eat here, and the servers just continue to get better as well. Priced right too! Kudos to management, you have one hell of an operation. 🌮 🍻

Never disappoints! I had a Dinner Combo 3 (a little early) with a tamale, chile relleno (a little oily from the frying, but still delicious), and enchilada with rojo sauce. My husband had the West Coast grilled shrimp tacos.
We haven’t been able to make it out this way for so long, we decided to treat ourselves today, and both very glad we did! They weren’t exactly packed when we got there but quickly became nearly 100% capacity 😆
If you want some delicious Mexican food - this is the place to get it.

One of the best Mexican food I’ve had. One can taste the freshness of food here. Service is fast and servers are real good at their job. Thoroughly enjoyed my time here. If you like avocados, don’t forget to order guacamole here! I’ll be going back to this place!

Pancho's is a jewel in quaint San Antonio, FL. While much of central Florida is being blanketed by chain restaurants, Pancho's Villa has kept their unique, personal character for decades.

First tried on Valentine’s Day for lunch. Very busy. But, the staff was amazing. The one waitress you can tell is very good at what she does. She was always on the move helping and serving customers. We make it our goal to go once a week now.

Smallish place that does a crazy amount of business, based on our experience yesterday. Looks like they have a lot of regulars! Yesterday was our first visit . Service was fast and friendly. Prices were reasonable.
My husband had the fajitas which he said were good, he also had the flan. I tasted both and they were tasty. I has the taco salad without the shell. It was ok. I'd probably try something different next time. Worth checking out.

The place is great . When you first pull up, it doesn't look like much but oh lord is the food good. We had chimichangas , burritos, fajitas, and fried ice cream. It was all delicious, plus it was hot. When do we ever get hot food in a restaurant? The waitresses were fantastic. Very friendly. I highly recommend it

We love this place and have gone back again and again since we found it. The speciality tacos are amazing and each are vastly different! For most items you have options between multiple types of beef, pork, chicken, or veggie. They also have shrimp and fish options, the fish and shrimp specialty tacos are fantastic, as are every other one I've tried.

All the usual Mexican items are on the menu and they run daily specials. The quesadillas and fajitas seem very popular.

The portions sizes are considerable and the prices are VERY reasonable. It's almost like they prioritize getting repeat business vs trying to pick your pocket for every little thing till only dust comes out. It is very much a spot that the locals go to for great food and affordable enough that it draws in the students from St. Leo University down the road.

Two people can walk out absolutely stuffed with leftovers having spent $30 or less. Lunch items (11am-3pm) are $10 - $13.. Lunch combos start at less than $9. Dinner SPECIALTIES run about $16; dinner combos start at around $13; and dinner specials range between $11 and $13. Specialty tacos start at 1 for $7.25 - $9.00; 2 for $10.25 - $12.25; or ANY 3 $13.75. Most lunch and dinner items are served with Mexican rice and refried beans but they do have other options available. I'm not sure if they upcharge if you ask for alternate sides since we love the rice and beans, but I don't think so if you ask for like yellow rice and black beans. There are 8 items on the children's menu including the usual staples for kids and they do offer French fries. Do yourself a favor and try the fried ice cream, it's perfect for sharing on date night.

Fair warning, it is a small-ish place and not for the claustrophobes out there and it is packed full more often than not. Larger groups may wait a few minutes for seating but tables turn over pretty quick as people tend to eat and leave because it's a place you go to for a quick bite at a great price and not so much for the atmosphere and a 2 hour fine dining experience. There is a sign posted stating "for larger groups please have all members of party present before asking to be seated". As a couple we've always walked in and are seated right away.

Super yummy Mexican food. I had the chili rellenos and the deep fried ice cream. It was delicious! Cute atmosphere. Good service.

This is the best Mexican food in Florida. The only place I've had better Mexican food was in Mexico, and that was almost the same as this place. These dudes know what they're doing. They could charge way more than they do, but let the quality of the food speak for itself. This is one of those places that doesn't care about having a fancy place (it's a house converted into a restaurant) they know the food is so good that people will come back. I drive 45 minutes just to eat here, it is that good.

Great food and great service! The place is small but comfortable. The food was fresh and very flavorful. We were traveling down I-75 and stopped here after reading the reviews. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area!!!

Worth the Detour
Wow, one of the best Mexican dinners I have had in a long time and the prices are very reasonable. Generous portions. Excellent Service on a busy night!!

Queso = awesome
Guacamole = good... not very chunky but definitely homemade
Refried Beans and Rice = delicious and vegetarian
Fajitas for 2 = delicious and could easily feed 3-4 adults if you have appetizers
Fried Ice Cream = not what we are used to ... basically ice cream wrapped in vanilla cake
Sopapillas - omg heaven. Must try them!!! (I posted a pic of a half order... couldn't finish it!)

Yum! It's so hard to find good Mexican food here. Pancho's Villa fits the bill every time. So much food I couldn't finish it. That made me sad, but everything else made me very happy. Hope you enjoyed your 83rd birthday Aunt Millie! The way you cleaned up that burrito plate told us you enjoyed every birthday bite!
