Mystic Fish

This was our first time here. We came for our anniversary and really enjoyed the space. Would love to come back and try new items from the menu. Staff and the ambiance was great as well.

This is my favorite French restaurant! The escargot is traditional, served in a shallow dish with butter. The entrees are always perfect with vegetable sides that are never treated as afterthoughts. Drinks are phenomenal. Shout out to Steve who makes the best espresso martini and is a pleasure to chat with. Note that desserts are individual portions - not for sharing - so I recommend you order a few. Finally, the atmoshere is elegant and sexy with low lighting and sophisticated, ocean-themed decor. If you see the eel emerge in the fish tank you are LUCKY! What an experience!

We had never been, and decided to celebrate my husbands birthday there tonight.

I started out with the escargot-style lobster, and my entree was the hogfish. I got the seasonal veggies and mashed potatoes for sides. For dessert I ordered the gelato, and an espresso. My husband got the ahi tuna appetizer, and for his entree he got the filet (medium rare) with veggies and mashed potatoes. His dessert was the half baked martini.

We were so impressed. By. Every. Single. Thing. The service (Maya) was outstanding. The food was incredible. And considering we ordered nearly everything, we feel like we got out the door at a bargain. The mashed potatoes were next level - I’ve never had mashed THAT good, and we are picky about where we dine out.

Fine dining with fair pricing - to say the least. We can’t wait to go back!

Loved the place! Everything is so nice, clean and delicious!!!! Would definitely recommend, planning on visiting again soon.

My only complaint was that dinner came with a vegetable which was $5 a la carte, the asparagus was $5.95 a la carte and they wouldn't switch and add the 95 cents the only way you can get the asparagus was to pay the full $5.95
Oh! meals don't come with bread you have to pay for it😥

Great service and good food. Prices are consistent with the upscale-ish atmosphere. Nice spot for date night.

This was our first time trying this place. We saw a huge variety of small plates listed, so instead of ordering entrees, we tried a variety of appetizers and small plates. We weren't disappointed. We started with the Bermuda Fish Chowder. It was delicious and did not taste like any other Chowder we had ever tried. We proceeded with a selection of raw oysters, blue crab cocktail, lobster escargot, and seared sea scallops. Everything was delicious; there wasn't one disappointment in the batch. We had excellent service and an enjoyable experience.

Chose to come to our neighborhood restaurant for my husband's birthday. Justin was our server and was spot on. The rib eye and their mashed potatoes on the menu and swordfish was amazing.
We loved the ambiance which is very important to us. Definitely worth the experience

The food was great! I still think about the goat cheese spring rolls they were life changing. Overall service was great and every dish was spot on on all flavor profiles. Hands down you must go.

10 of us went there for our mother's 93 birthday dinner and the food and service were outstanding.

This was our first time and we love it. We went to celebrate our Dating anniversary and we enjoyed so much our dinner. The Restaurant ambiance is perfect for this type of celebration. Our waitress was amazing, helpful, and super friendly. Excellent menu with many options. They have unique flavors. Everything that we ordered was perfectly cooked, delicious, and exceeded our expectations, except the mashed potatoes. We think that the person that made the mashed potatoes was not the same one that cooked the rest of our food. We are planning to visit again to try their other options on the menu.

Date night! Both honey and I enjoyed our dinners. Started with french bread rolls with some sort of fancy butter. I tried the Mystic soup... perfectly spiced, . I recommend! Dinner I ordered the Kona Salmon, it was so pink and flaky...it was perfect. Hubby ordered chicken with goat cheese, dried tomatoes and basil. We shared bites and we're delighted we both entree's. Restaurant is fancy and has unique decor... The server was super nice and full of menu info. We had a great evening.

Mystic Fish continues to be one of my favorite restaurants! Great service and food.

From the moment you enter this restaurant you realize the staff is there to serve and make you happy! Lisa was bartending on a busy Friday night. Both she and her co-worker were attentive and efficient, while other patrons were friendly and provided great company. Started out with a bar item of Littleneck clams served in a broth with roasted red peppers and chorizo, salad, pan seared cod. The food was delicious, great presentation and what more can I say, everything was a 5 star experience.

I have returned several times within the past 4 weeks. Food is excellent, service top notch, great atmosphere, friendly staff and clientele.

When it has been way too long to visit a favorite establishment, you get an evening special and your tastebuds are transported to heaven! Way to go Mystic Fish! Shout out to Anthony, personable and efficient.

Best pork loin chop I ever had. Creme Brulee was awesome

Had a wonderful anniversary dinner here. I had the lamb chops which were wonderful. The service was great! We sat at a "flat top" which was fine, but the chairs weren't very comfortable so my toes were tingling when we were done. All in all, we'll be going back!

Overall very nice. Good food, good wine, good service. Nice setting and decor. Wine service comes with cheese. Birthday gets 2 free desserts (we actually had 2 birthdays and our waiter let us get 4 even though he said they can only do 2, not that I asked, but that's good service). MAKE A RESERVATION. We got there early for our reservation but was seated after a few minutes anyway.

Bread was fantastic.

Small plates were very good. Both the ribs and the shrimp were perfect. Combined with the bread appetizer and a drink I was having a good time right off the bat. Next time I may just get multiple small plates.

The lamb was good, I was recommended medium rare and the taste was great but I should have asked for a steak knife.

Pork came slightly undercooked but they fixed it for us quickly enough. Tasted great.

Pretzel crusted grouper was good but the sauce almost completely masked the taste.

Seasonal vegetables that seemingly came with everything were nice and fresh but otherwise uninteresting.

Drinks were very strong and well made.

Desserts are done right here. They are quite small, the perfect amount after eating a full meal. And the espresso was also perfect.

Pricing is what you'd expect. Overall could use to be slightly less pretentious. Seemingly popular for large groups which is a shame because the larger tables were very loud. There's a tv at the bar playing sports, quietly, but still surprising. There's a loud bar next door.

We are so happy we made the drive to eat here. There were so many good looking dishes on the menu that it was hard to choose. Nice decor with salt water aquariums. Our server was great with solid recommendations! Looking forward to a return visit to try other things.

First time, very clean, including employees. I was properly greeted when I arrived at 3:58pm, he made me feel welcomed. Madison and Kaitlyn were extremely professional and very clean as I watch them prepare cocktails and keep the bar going.
The appetizers I had were over the top delicious and perfectly prepared. Raw oysters, scallops with strawberries & the escargot were perfect.
I can’t wait to come back.

Outstanding service and delicious food. OpenTable listed this as a top restaurant in the Tampa area, boy were they right. Can't wait to go again so I can try other dishes. Lots to choose from, and all sound amazing. The few we tried were outstanding. There is obviously a chef in back that CARES what he puts out. Hot, perfectly cooked, flavorful and delicious food. We will be back soon.

My wife and I had dinner last night for my birthday and it was amazing! From being greeted at the front door promptly being seated and Carley our waitress coming to the e table to take out Drink order! Drinks were quick, the Octopus and Mahi Tuna was probabaly some of the best seafood we’ve ever had! The gave a free desert for my birthday and it was just overall a 5Star experience, we are new to the area and will most definitely be back!
