My dog’s first visit for his terrible seasonal allergies and what turns out was two pinpoint corneal tears, was all that I had hoped for, and less than a mile from my home. I felt like this was the perfect practice for my dog from the minute I made the call to make the appointment with Summer, who literally had me at hello lol, so kind and calming. She acted like she had all day to just focus on me and my dogs needs. Tyson did NOT have to wait in the lobby for more than a few minutes which was a wonderful change from his previous vet where he would wait an hour on occasion. The vet and vet tech were amazing with my dog and one of the biggest things that stood out to me was them being conscious of cost and not assuming that I have a bottomless wallet; which again, my previous vet had no concern for. Thank you for an amazing experience, top notch medical care and compassion, and for letting me know what all of my alternatives were in regards to cost while still getting the same end result. We are excited to go back next week for a follow up. Thank you! 💛🐾

Over the moon excited that I’ve found the staff at West Park. From the front desk team to the veterinarian, these are some of the kindest people you’ll meet. They’re so caring for their guests and animals and willing to truly get to know what’s going on with your pets. They offer multiple solutions and are willing to work with you on whatever you’re comfortable with. I’ve visited many other vets that seem to push products left and right and you don’t get that experience here thankfully. The vets and techs are truly solutions based with wonderful hearts. Highly recommend !

Always knowledgeable, compassionate care for my kitties at West Park Animal Hospital. A dedicated cat exam room helps the cats feel more comfortable. Dr Churchill, Dr Reitz and all the staff are awesome. Your pets are in good hands at West Park!

Love this practice! Both Dr. Churchill and Dr. Reitz are phenomenal. They are both very knowledgeable and I never feel rushed during a visit. They really care and take the time to answer all questions and go over options. They take fear-free seriously and make your pets feel as comfortable as possible. Highly recommend.

The most kind, caring, and professional group of veterinarians any pet owner could ask for when brigning your pet to strangers. They make you and your pet feel at home as soon as you step through their doors. Even if I lived further than I do now (which is about 30 min), I would still come to West Park Animal Hospital!

Everyone is always kind, caring, & respectful. Prior to rendering services, you are provided with a detailed list of prices so there are never any surprises at the end of the visit. My dog Enzo loves going here! I highly recommend this vet clinic.

Amazing vet for cats. The level of genuine care and thoughtfulness is endearing. They completed a rather difficult tooth extraction surgery perfectly. One of the very few in Tampa that is locally owned and not owned by private equity firms with exploitive pricing.

Needed a new vet. Very happy I chose West Park. Spent a lot of time researching. This was one of two vets that were very responsive to my questions. At the appointment, the vet tech and then the vet herself spent a lot of time with my dog trying to make her less nervous. There’s no exam table so the vet and the tech get right down on the floor to interact with the dog and give a lot of affection while poking and prodding. Exam, heart worm and fecal tests, and vaccinations requires for boarding came in around $260 which I thought was very reasonable based on other vet visits and my research this year to find a new vet.

I would like to say first off I am new to Florida, so I was a little nervous finding a new vet, this is by far the best vet I have ever been to, I didn’t feel like I was rushed in the office visit. The vet actually sat on the floor with my very old dog, and they didn’t put her on the table. They were gentle with her , they listen all my concerns they answered all my questions the prices were reasonable for what vets charge and I highly recommend them. They are by far better than my that from New York.

We are in our 80's with an 18 yo cat who came down with congestion and other problems. A neighbor recommended this practice because of excellent care. We have opted not to have extreme measures taken for our end and we do not want to put our cat through them on the other hand we love her and do not want to hasten her demise

The staff and vet appreciated our view. We had taken Hairball, the cat, to a pet hospital and they had done extensive test. for her condition and recommended followup with our vet. We have just moved here and did not a vet. Went to this one and she read hospital's report. Several problems had been alleviated, dehydration, vomiting but still had congestion. and weight loss.

Vet came up with solution. Treat bacterial congestion; than see about thyroid was causing weight loss. But nothing unreasonable. I have just had colon cancer and had decided no chemo. I would make the same type of decision for our loved cat.

Highly recommend! Such caring and competent staff that truly listen. They approach Vet care with a loving and caring disposition.

Having recently moved to the area from North of Tampa I was in search of a new Veterinarian practice. I had been with my previous Vet for close to 17 years so it was a little nerve racking to say the least, especially due to the COVID-19 protocols. I came across reviews for West Park Animal Hospital and felt comfortable giving them a chance. I'd like to also add they allow you in with your fur-baby, following safe Covid practices, which helped to ease the anxiety. The reviews I read were all spot on. From my first initial call, Allison, extended a warm greeting with a caring voice. Walking in for the first time, and second now, relieved all concerns, nice clean practice, warm cozy patient rooms, they even ask if you'd like a soda or water! Hannah and Dr. Hyde made me feel right at home. I am pawsitively happy I found them.

We loved our visit, everyone was very kind and knowledgeable. Ava was well cared and was made to feel like she was part of the family. We will definitely recommend to everyone.

Front desk receptionist and Our Vet were fantastic! My girl is pretty shy and takes time to warm up to new people. Sweet girl, just a bit insecure. They took their time with her and she left with her tail up. Definitely recommend this place!

What an incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and animal-loving staff! West Park went above and beyond for our little kitten. They contacted our other vet to get information all on their own, they added special personal touches to the room to make Dobby feel at ease. They let us be in the room for his shots. They went over every detail of pricing, and they made us feel completely at ease. Thank you so much for loving our pet. :)

The physician and staff are incredibly friendly and supportive. All of our pets are at ease during visits and leave happy!

A great experience. I would highly recommend West Park. Audrey, Hannah, and Dr. Churchill were all cordial and highly competent. Their fees are also very reasonable. Most amazing experience with my sick kitty. From the time I set the appointment to the aftercare, extremely friendly, professional and most importantly I felt my cat was provided with the best care and love and I left feeling heard with a good plan in place to help him get better. Dr. Reitz, I’m convinced is the cat whisperer and is just phenomenal, Jess and all of the staff are just amazing people and my only regret is not making the move sooner. Thank you all again so much.

The experience was outstanding from the moment I called the office. Even before I made the appointment they went above and beyond to answer my questions. Our appointment was a great experience for puppy, mom and the two kids who tagged along. They made us feels comfortable, took plenty of time with us, and got the kids involved in checking the puppy’s health. It was one of those great experiences you tell to anyone who will listen.

It was a very pleasant first visit for me and my kitty. Allison, the associate at the front desk, was a delight when taking my information over the phone and scheduling my appointment. Dr. Hyde and the vet tech, Hannah, were very gentle with my frightened cat and took their time with her exam. I will definitely be bringing the rest of my fur family to see them.
