Duncan McClellan Gallery

This is an exceptional contemporary art glass gallery consisting of blown, sculpted, and sand blasted forms. Some artists represented are truly masters of their medium. I am not usually given to exclamation, but the word Wow! came out of my mouth multiple times as I toured the incredible and well lite displays. I did think a majority of the pieces were priced about 35% - 40% higher than I was expecting. I was willing to purchase but was unable to get beyond the pricing. That being said, if you enjoy art glass, this is a "can't miss" destination.

A true treasure in S St Pete in the warehouse art district. If you haven’t been, go! Duncan and his team gave our youth leadership pinellas group a fantastic tour. Thanks to them for all they do to support our local community, and the glass arts community world wide.

The gallery was incredible! So many cool pieces from a ton of different artists. We were also able to see a glass blowing demo and everything is free. All of the staff members were super friendly and we even had the chance to chat with Duncan and Irene. It was a great experience with great people, I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys art or just wants something cool and interesting to do in St. Pete's.

What a wonderful gallery, studio & school. Absolutely beautiful works of art in a plethora of price ranges. Watching the glass blowing & sculpting demonstration was awe-inspiring. Such talent, such beauty & very welcoming hosts. Thank you Duncan and all for your hospitality.

I started going to the gallery many years ago when it was much smaller, and I have enjoyed seeing the development of the spaces into the wonderful atmosphere it is today. Every time we go, it is an awesome experience. Thank you Duncan for doing this.

Their Chill Lounge brings both worlds together and includes an outdoor stage and reception area that can accommodate a casual event or transform for the most sophisticated soiree.

A glass-blowing demonstration can add to their unique offerings for your event and will captivate your guests.

Owners Duncan and Irene McClellan are amazing hosts and the creators of this incredible space. Along with their sweet resident felines, they are a pleasure to work and will provide the backdrop for a memorable out-of-the-box guest experience.

Found this hidden gem which was on tripadvisors recommendation of places to check out in St Pete. This spectacular gallery showcases contemporary glass from artisans all over the world. The pieces are also available for purchase and are frequently rotated. I had the pleasure of chatting with the owner of the gallery who shared his creative experiences along with the history of the gallery. The outdoor space is beautifully manicured and features statues throughout the grounds. There's a hot box workshop where I had the pleasure of watching a live demonstration of glass work in the making. If you are in the St. Pete area I highly recommend stopping by as you don't want to miss out on experiencing all the extraordinary talent!

What a ‘hidden’ gem of St. Pete! We stopped in on a Sunday mid-morning and had a relaxing visit to the gallery.
Jack was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the work displayed in the gallery and their artists. We loved the variety and uniqueness of the pieces and the outdoor garden. Keeping the gallery free to the public (with donations accepted) helps make it accessible to all. We’d definitely recommend it to art lovers living in/visiting St. Pete!

By far the most intriguing and unique glass blown artwork I have ever seen! Duncan and Irene McClellan (owners) answered all of our questions and gave helpful insight to all the artists, including Duncan himself. Had a chance meeting and photo opportunity with one artist, Kevin Daigle, who was repairing a machine the artist used frequently, and he gave some interesting information about how artist mold, shape and polish art pieces. I definitely donated !

If you are in or headed to SW Florida, don't miss this opportunity to see incredible glass works of art. It is very impressive when the owners/artists greet you when you come in the door. But that's when you are "blown away" lol, by the glass art that is in front of you. The amount of glass works from different artists will leave your jaw dropped. Mostly, McClennan's work etching glass is extraordinary. You must go, the entire grounds and glass shop can't be missed. They also support a mission call DMG School Project which enables young folks to learn about glass blowing, even a mobile studio. I will go each time I am down in Florida, probably a few times and bring more friends.

Beautiful glass art gallery and on site glass blowing studio. They also have an outside venue great for parties, with a beautiful garden with orchids everywhere. Something for everyone, but not suitable for children.

We visited the gallery and were able to talk with the artists and watch glass blowing. The people were incredibly friendly and knowledge, wanting to share and showed a lot of pride in all their work. Some beautiful extraordinary pieces of art on display. They periodically change their featured artists and work, so we would love to return to see more.

Loved visiting here. Free entry. Variety of glass art on display, including from notable artists. I'm tempted to stare at individual pieces for awhile from many angles (my photos here don't do them justice!), which is not how I feel at most museums.
Artists blow glass there and you can watch them.
Nice gardens. There also outdoor cats.

Just the best cool stuff, creative art, superbly crafted by real artisans. Real operating kiln in the back so you can see the real deal happening while you're there (check times before you go)
They also have an educational program for area schools, as well as a mobile van it takes their artisan craft to local area gatherings.
This and the imagine museum are definitely must seize in this cute little town of St Pete.

Do not give up on finding it...its in a obscure setting.
I thought the beautiful glass art sculptures were Fantastic! I could not believe how intricate, and brilliant these glass vases were. We will be back because of the Glorious Glass beauty.

A must see! Extraordinary Glass sculpture pieces in a lovely setting, Duncan and his wife are lovely, helpful and a pleasure to be around as you stroll through their beautiful collection of glass arts.

Incredible collection from 128 artists. Charming gardens that seem enchanted as evening light plays on glass sculptures. Duncan is warm and welcoming, his energy and enthusiasm for supporting emerging artists is infectious. Glass blowing demonstration is at once dramatic and fascinating.

Don't sleep on this gem! The glass art is incredible and I really enjoyed the outdoor seating area and sculpture garden. I really appreciated being able to sit a bit after walking around.

Amazing collection of glass art representing a wide variety of styles and artists, and a very friendly and outgoing staff. Beautiful to walk around and explore the gallery and garden and I enjoy talking to Duncan and the artists there.
