First time coming to this bagel shop! Wife and I absolutely loved it!! It was soooo good, we both got everything bagels BEC with different cream cheeses. Both of them were delicious. But it’s more than a bagel, the atmosphere is very welcoming. I love the set up of the location and the people were nice. Can’t ask for more than all those things together.

Beyond thrilled I discovered this gem 💎 this morning. I am new to this area and I have been craving a bagel and it only was the bagel excellent like authentic bagel excellent. The coffee was just as delicious. And they were super delightful. Definitely will be back.

Such a wonderful variety of spreads, bagels & sandwiches - everything is fresh & made deliciously. The Grand Central Pete was great - earthy and fresh. I also enjoyed their coconut matcha bundt cake - the toasted coconut & drizzle were fantastic. I wish the matcha taste came through a bit more (coming from someone who enjoys a strong matcha flavor). In addition to all of the great food, the place is just adorable! Very busy on the weekends - line out the door.

Pete's General Store is a quaint little store that also makes bagels and bagel sandwiches.
It is a nice place. I ate there yesterday. They make a mean bagel sandwich. Check out their menu for other offerings. As in the name General Store, it is a reflection of the simplicity and pleasantness of the past. With its location in a local neighborhood, they create a lot of atmosphere within a small area. Being beside a park with a pond adds to it. With the friendly staff and hearty sandwiches, you leave there with a good experience just enjoying a simple pleasure in life.

We absolutely love Pete's. We've been going since they were in Crescent Lake Park. Now on 1st, Pete's has a great seating, a high-chair, and just good vibes. The staff is so nice and friendly, especially Ben! Try the Breakfast sandwich with Impossible sausage or one of their cream cheeses like Garden herb or Jalapeño. Best bagels in St. Pete!

This place is awesome. homemade vegan cream cheese made from white beans and garlic. Bagel was chewy and fresh and the vibe was great. We will be back all the time, I’m sure. Next time I’m going to add extra dill and some pickled onions. 10/10.

Great bagel sandwiches, come early if you want an everything bagel. Lots of seating around the side of the building can pop over to the park to sit in the shade

Wow wow wow! Such a charming little corner store with great bagels(who doesn't love some Manatee branding). In all my travels it's very rare to stumble upon good bagels outside of NYC. These were some of the best bagels I've had. We brought a half dozen home to our family and everyone loved them. The lake across the street is charming as well.

Loved the aesthetic of this place...and of course their bagels. Great service too!

Best bagels I’ve had outside of Hudson Valley (NY)! Have the Original Pete, you wont disappointed. Also have salmmin coffee and killer pastries.

Great local business. The owner is an amazing person. He has developed a great team of passionate people to create a true culinary art in the bagel realm. Vegan friendly, diary free as well. They have great coffee too. The outdoor space is amazing. Parking is not an issue at all. Every time I go there are no lines. If you want a true and proper bagel or breakfast sandwich this is where you need to go in the greater Tampa Bay Area.

What?!?? Pete’s General has the best bagel sandwich I’ve ever had. That’s a full stop there. Ever!! They make fantastic bagels, sandwiches, and coffee! I love how kind and friendly the staff is, and how fast! The prices are excellent for the gourmet class food and coffee. If you need a quick bite to go, I for sure would recommend. (I ate the same bagel two days in a row!) That’s six exclamation points.

Love their selection of pastries! They carry Le clementines pasties which are always delicious!
The staff is always friendly.

I went in to get a quick bagel, not knowing what to expect with not much time for work. I'm fairly new to the area and it was the best bagel I've had in a very long time! I already recommended it to my boss and coworkers. The wait was very short, the workers were very sweet and patient. Definitely recommend and I'll definitely be back! :)

I absolutely LOVE coming here. A great local spot, always fresh, and tastes amazing!!! I always get the Grand Central St Pete, love the harissa cream cheese. Highly recommend

Awesome staff and beautiful layout! Pete’s General is a fantastic upgrade to the area — people complain about the prices, but local specialty is the key to this place. I was pleasantly surprised to find things I’d only have found at the Indie Flea (when I do get to catch it...). The bagels are great for a place that’s not branded as a bagel place...they’re definitely exclusive — get there early for the wide selection. Love it here so far, and I’ve been told the selections will be on rotation to feature even MORE local vendors and artists. Can’t beat it.

I've been salivating over their Instagram for weeks and it lives up to its own hype. Parking is kinda tricky, so bring your patience for that, but it's worth it.

Had a great experience at Pete’s. The bagels were very fresh and very tasty. We need a quick breakfast before going to the beach and it surpassed all my expectations! Coming back for sure

best bagels the county by far. very similar to ny/nj bagels.

i'm guessing they boil them (most places down here don't).

i get a bagel with cream cheese here a few times a month.

my only gripe is they don't wipe down the knife they use to cut the bagels in half so my bagel usually tastes like an everything bagel where they make the cut (i'm not an everything bagel fan).
