I'm still beyond happy with my experience. This appointment was a protein treatment and silk press. My next appointment is already scheduled. It's so nice to get in and out so I can get on with the rest of my day. The atmosphere is professional and friendly. The establishment is clean and I like the decor. Each visit, I feel more comfortable.

I recently moved to Alpharetta from Memphis where I had the same stylist for 15+ years so I was very selective in researching for a new hair salon. Shades of Color has exceeded my expectations!! They have a great atmosphere, professional yet welcoming environment. The stylists were very friendly. Overall I was well pleased with my hair and have already booked my next appointment.

Very nice and clean salon. The employees are professional, friendly and nice. I do judge, but quietly and to myself, but have never seen a ugly hairstyle leave there. They don't have several people scheduled at one time. They're focused on your head....which I love. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Today was my first experience at this salon with chalia and it was great. Everyone in there was super friendly and the overall vibes of this place was really nice and calm. Chalia special is with natural hair so that's why I went with her and she was super sweet and nice. I came here because my original stylist is too far. But I will say I think I'm going to be a regular at this salon I'd recommend anyone to come here🙂

I needed a simply style for my Mom and the season she’s currently in. I called and set a consultation with the owner Tanjah.. walked into a beautiful and professional salon. All the stylist were extremely professional and helpful. Within five minutes of discussing what we needed for my mom‘s needs, Tanjah knew exactly what see wanted and delivered.. My mom was so happy.. It’s the only place I’ll take her now.. can’t speak enough about how warm the staff is and how professional they are. And we were in and out. Highly recommend this salon.. it felt like a breath of fresh air..

This was my first time getting my hair straightened in 4 years and I can say that the experience was worth the wait. The services that I received were a hydration treatment, silk press, and trim. My stylist was Nobi and she took good care of me. She was extremely kind and personable. Per previous experiences, I was expecting that I would have to wait to be served when I got there. To my delight, I was able to get taken care of as soon as I came. I loved the way my hair turned out and my family loved it too. With maintenance, the style lasted for two weeks. I washed my hair over the weekend and my curls bounced back with no heat damage. Overall my experience was wonderful and I will be going again.

Love this hair salon. Black owned business with a great mother and daughter duo from the midwest. I've been here at least 4 times and will continue to make future appointments. Their hair game is on point 🤗💪❤.

I went to Atlanta for a wedding on the weekend of 4th July. I needed to style my wig and Googled the salons near by my hotel and saw the Shades of Color Salon. I called and Ms G answered the phone. I told her that I needed my wig styled and if she had any time to do so and she said yes. I was so grateful for the fact that this was the same day of the wedding I was going to attend that evening. She told me to come between 3-3:30. Because of the traffic, I was running late so I called her and she told me it was still OK. This salon ladies in Atlanta area is one of the best salons I have ever been. The professionalism is top notch. Ms G told me that they don't style wigs but she did a fantastic job and I had so many compliments on that day at the wedding. Ms G, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I really really appreciate it what you did for me. The next time I visit Atlanta again, I will definitely visit your salon. I wish you all the best at your new place.
