Porter & Luke's Restaurant

Great local Italian place. Brittany our server was knowledgeable and very friendly. The hot crab dip was the best. All of the food was fresh and delicious. We recommend this place for a great time. Also the poker machines paid out when we played.

Made reservations for a business lunch. It was fairly quiet when we arrived, but after about 20 minutes, it was packed. I ordered the fried shrimp platter with sweet potato fries. My coworker ordered something with eggplant and the other a oyster pasta special. We all enjoyed our food. The shrimp had a light but tasty batter. The fries were thin and tasty. Really enjoyed it there. Quick turnaround for the food and good service.

We reserved their banquet room for a birthday dinner with 25 people in attendance. Erica (with a C) was our waitress. She made the evening super fun with her sparkling personality, food recommendations and by getting us our meals and drinks swiftly. If you go, try the hot blue crab dip and the eggplant strips…yum! The bread pudding is delicious! Really, all of the food was good. Thanks, EriCa!

Absolutely Spectacular Service, Food and all around excellent everything was 5-Star!! Its was the best experience me and my family have ever had and we have gone to alot of Restaurants and nobody can't light a candle to Porter and Luke's.

A great bit of New Orleans flavor and hospitality. A great value and fantastic food.

Parking is difficult because of the other businesses in the plaza. We had a large party but a good server. Nice little place. The side salad was well made and the Eggplant Sophie was made to perfection.

Love coming here! Food is always delicious and everyone is very friendly. Perfect spot for a Friday evening family dinner !

Eggplant Sophie is AMAZING. Great turtle soup. Everyone enjoyed their meals and our server was very friendly and helpful.

Family Christmas celebration, everyone "raved" about their choice of dinner dishes, especially the veal parmesan, which is not pictured. Definitely will revisit soon!

I had mine and my mother's birthday party. The buffet worked out great.
Staff was incredible especially Aiden. The food was hot and delicious. Plenty of parking and a great old Metairie location.

Sat at the bar to place a to go order and enjoy a glass of wine. The bartender was very nice but way too busy for only 1 bartender. She forgot the order was to go and had to take it back to pkg. The atmosphere is very nice but extremely noisy/loud. The customer next to me warn me to make sure to check my order because they forget items all the time. Not the bar to go and have a nice relaxing cocktail. Good food. Gumbo was just ok. Needs at least 2 bar tenders and someone in charge of putting to go orders together for the bar tender.

This place is awesome. The server Erica was great!! The food was delicious 😋 First time coming here. I was visiting from Savannah, Ga. I would highly recommend this place.

Dinner with the Performance family. Steak was top notch add crabmeat!!! Yum. Hot crab dip was crazy great!

We got the Eggplant Sophie but subbed the eggplant for panéed chicken and it was fabulous. We also had the soft shell crab pontchartrain and the catfish platter. Everything was great.

Experienced this restaurant last night. I took 6 of my out of town friends there. Besides them forgetting to bring dining utensils everything else was great. Everything ordered was brought out hot and was very tasty. The stars of the show were the blue crab dip, the gumbo, the soft shell crab and the bread pudding. I will definitely be back.

In town for a conference. Found the restaurant on Open Table with great reviews. We had a wonderful server, Michelle, and we all loved our meals. Eggplant Sophie, Pecan Crusted Catfish, Turtle Soup, Fried Catfish and Fish of the Day. We had bread pudding for dessert. Everything was delicious and the staff was friendly and attentive even though they were very busy. Worth the 10 minute drive from Downtown.

We had a Graduation/ Birthday party here with 30 people. Brandy was our waitress and she was awesome. She was very friendly and laughed and joked with us. She also got everything in our order correct. The food was delicious but Brandy made our experience excellent!!! She is a true asset to your business.
