Dorignac's Food Center

I like this grocery store. One stop shopping. They sell, beer, whiskey, wine, vodka, tequila. They also sell sushi, they cater parties and events. They sell flowers. I have been going here since the early 1970's. They have a deli, very good. It's kind of like a Reason on steroids. If you are in this area and need groceries. I recommend giving them a try.

This is the place to go for fresh produce, near and fish and lots of choice in local products. There is a bakery in the store with so many beautiful treats! The wine and liquor department is well stocked. It's a great store for feast days and every day shopping.

Super cool store! We were looking for a specific Fig King Cake and they carry it! Toms of alcohol selections, awesome local sauces and condiments, fantastic artisanal cheese selection! Will be back at next visit!

I love this store. Dorignac's has the freshest meats and seafood. The deli is awesome. Their cold cuts and cheeses are always so fresh. Customer Service is excellent. So glad that I live so close. Best store!

Dorignacs has the best: French bread, Italian twist bread, doughnuts and wine selection in the entire New Orleans area. Their breakfast cafe is a well kept secret gem. The breakfast is like diner style, and very cheap!

I have been shopping here for years. Their large liquor department has great prices and a large selection of items. Their meat department carries only the best. I know people that only shop there to buy all their meat and won't go anywhere else. You can hardly find a grocery store that checks you out with an employee and also has someone else to bag your groceries. They even give you a choice of paper or plastic bags.There are no self-checkout aisles and I'm sure that keeps a lot of customers coming back!

I love thé music here! I hate grocery shopping but I find myself smiling, lip syncing, and just taking my sweet time. Always a great experience. And lest I forget, their employees are downright friendly. How about that!!

I love this market, but if you have any sort of a tan carrying a backpack, they will purposely follow you around the store, even if you do make a purchase. Great place to shop for speacialty items though.

The best large supermarket in NO. More selection, unusual items, best meat and seafood, friendliest employees, best liquor and wine out of a pure liquor store, makes shopping a pleasure. And if you are looking for an unusual item, an adventure. I order groceries over the internet for delivery these days. If I have to go to the store, it’s Dorignac’s!

This is the best package of meat to make Italian meatballs. Beef-Pork-Veal. Add chopped onions, garlic and seasonings to make the best meatballs. They always have all the check out lines open. And the ladies and gentlemen at the front are very friendly.

I remember the first time I went there. Lack of variety, up til then, was prevailant here. But I walked in, the had my favorite vodka in 5 different flavors ( I used to have to bring it from MO 360*); my heart started racing. I looked isle after isle, FINALLY a Primo liqueur selection. Reasonable, gift sets, an awesome wine collection! Then add that they have The best bakery around and the biggest selection of fresh flowers CHEAP, not reàsonable, cheap! My hat gues off to them!

So many great options and it's a small family environment so everyone's so helpful and friendly. The selection of alcohol is unmatched and they have a lot of unique in house made products as well as a wonderful bakery that could be a stand alone store itself

I have heard nothing but good things about Dorignac's and their doberge cakes are the best but my disappointment is the website. I work in a law firm where we celebrate birthdays each month and knowing what types of and the cost of the cakes would be very helpful in the planning of such events.

This place is what all grocery stores should be, sort of reminiscent of Schwegmans back in the day! Super friendly, helpful staff and the bakery took special care to make my husband's 50th extra special! Locally owned specializing in local goods! The cake was delicious!!

Dorignac’s has the best produce offerings of any local grocery store. It also a deli counter that offer fresh sliced deli meat to order, and a wide selection of wine and beer. This is the grocery store where New Orleans’ premiere chefs shop. When you cannot get an ingredient at another market, you can always find it at Dorignac’s.

Best liquor and wine selection and prices. Wow the cheeses, olives, seafood and meats! Love the produce and the hot deli is delicious!! Wonderful old Italian Grocery that I get to on occasion.
