JeffCare Community Health Center - East Jefferson

My husband and I got each got our covid shots at this facility. They were always professional and friendly from the first phone call to be put on the waiting list to checkin staff and staff that gave the shots. Thank you all very much.

Really great informative staff with a pharmacy on site. They work with you if you have no money of course come early if no appointment to be seen not a long wait and very intimate feeling atmosphere. Great for young and older women.

Doctor’s and back of clinic staff are great. Front desk has a very nasty attitude and don’t like when you respond to them the way they talk to you. If they don’t like the taste of their own medicine they should try talking to people like actual human beings.

Appointments are so slow, showing up at 1:30 and won't get in until 2:30 sometimes if you are 5 minutes late. The therapists also dumbed down the issues and thought I didn't know what I was diagnosed with. Don't even bother trying to contact me because of this "mistake.." 🤦‍♀

Very limited staff, but plenty of incompetent front desk people who don’t confirm appointments or make sure refills are called in if you can go someplace else you should.

These people are so SLOW if you have an appointment for 8:30am you won’t get seen until after 9am which I don’t understand why I’m always here over an hour for my son’s appointments because they have you waiting so long to be seen they never answer the phone or call you back when you call and leave a message I don’t recommend this place at all ! 3 receptionists and at least two is just on the phone and talking

After my last review the manager called me personally to apologize and I gave the place a second chance, worst mistake. I was in the hospital and they could not even get in touch with Dr. Lee. The doctor in the hospital said that they can never get in touch with anyone from this clinic, that I should find a different doctor and care team because Jeff care is not easy to get appointments with. I was discharged from the hospital and I called Jeff care who told me an after care team member would be contacting me for follow up, I called 5 times that week and left messages. No one ever returned my call, they never return your calls, they barely answer the phone. When I call anyone who answers gives an attitude, they are not helpful and make you feel uncomfortable.

Absolutely terrible psychiatrists. I'd love to go into detail but I've already wasted half a year of my life with this place. Been on the same prescriptions happy and healthy for over 6 years only to move to New Orleans and wind up at this place and have the doctor f around with my meds and refuse to write the scripts. I'm talking non narcotics in case you're wondering.
