Ochsner Health Center - Elmwood

I arrived for my visit, checked in and was processed immediately. My PA was with me right away and evaluated the reason for my visit and then images of taken. Everything was running like a well liked machine. My doctor entered and the real issues for my visit were address thoroughly. Dr. Jones is a wonderfully talented Orthopedics doctor and its proven in his work. My visit was great at Ochsner Sports Medicine Clinic. I love the professional friendly way that I am treated here. ✳

Both my experience with the surgeons and the follow-up physical therapy has been amazing! The communication and hands on from all has ensured the best decisions were made and enabled full expectation management. Dr. Choate and his team are the best and wouldn't consider anyone else if I had to do again.

Very nice receptionist. Very helpful. Dr. Choates’s fellow, excellent patient care skills. Had to get a cortisone injection and it did not hurt! He also did a phenomenal job explaining my X-ray results and my plan of care for the future of my knee.

I was scheduled to see Dr. Montgomery for my partially torn tricep. Dr. Montgomery carefully explained what my treatment options were and assured me that as long as I did my physical therapy that I wouldn't need surgery. I will say that Dr. Montgomery has the best bed side manner. He was very easy to talk to, very knowledgeable and wasn't pressing me to do anything I wasn't comfortable doing. I felt very comfortable around ALL of the Doctors, Nurses and Physical Therapists.

The location is convenient. And the people are professional and friendly. I truly appreciate my PT John Guido. He really works with you to restore function and agility, and he really listens and cares. Dr Suri and the rest of his team are also top notch. They are in the people restoration business. I highly recommend this facility.

Arrived on time, within 5 minutes I was called to my doctors office.
He reviewed my MRI and explained in detail using imaging on the computer screen.
Discussed options for me and planned a step by step agenda to help me recover.
Very happy with my appointment.

Have been going to Dr. Choate and Ochsner Physical Therapy at the Elmwood location for my knees for about 10 months. All of the therapists I have worked with have been top notch! Strengthening and stabilizing my knees to prepare me for surgery and now getting me back to myself post operation. Dr. Choate has been great at explaining procedures, and all of the staff are extremely supportive and great communicators. I had no concerns about going into major knee surgery with this team. They all made me feel comfortable and confident. I am so happy with this team and feel assured that I will be in excellent care with another upcoming surgery this year. As a former NCAA runner, I am anxious to get back to being active, and I am positive this is the best team to get me running again!

The staff @ Primary Care Elmwood is marvelous! The check-in Clerks, the Nurse Tremaine as well as my Physician Dr. Fayne St. John. EVERYONE are ALWAYS courteous, accommodating & knowledgeable with NO LIMITS to their awesome service! I have & will continue to compliment & recommend them to everyone I know! HONESTLY!

My Appointment at Ochsner Health Center was amazing . The minute I walk through the door I was greeted with a good morning and how may I help you? Dr Gottschalk is the best. He explained in detail everything to me about my procedure. I was extremely comfortable and any questiones or concerns I had he explained with passion and honesty.

Everyone was professional and courteous. Tracie, CeCe, Marshell were absolutely the best! Thank you all for making our visit feel so great!

I need to expound on my Ochsner Elmwood experience...i have an ongoing knee issue (2 months+) that has taken every curve and every turn a knee injury can take. Through no fault of mine or my medical team! However, the team at Elmwood has gone above and beyond to accommodate me. They have squeezed me in the day before a holiday. They have given me a box of tissue as i cried over my aging parts. They have made me laugh when the day couldn't get any worse and They've given me excellent care in a beautiful facility. Honestly I can say all this is above and beyond because i, myself, work in the medical care industry. I know excellence when i see it. Thank you Ochsner Elmwood for meeting and raising all of my expectations.

My experience was very satisfying. My PA gave me the shots in both my knees one shot per week for the last three weeks. The PA was very gentle, kind, and expert in her delivery of the shots. She made my experience very comfortable.

The PT and pta staff is very dedicated to help there patients get better. I'm so grateful to have such caring staff. Thank you ochsner staff for your support. They all are so helpful and compassionate caring people. Great job.

The staff was very nice. Explained my treatment options clearly and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. Hannah and her team are amazing!!

I had a sudden health concern with my blood pressure. I messaged my pcp, Dr. Miceli, and much to my surprise, he saw me within 5 days. I had a thorough exam and a barrery of test to help resolve yhe issue. I am very pleased with the expediate care I received.

Dr. Suri and his staff are wonderful. He is very thorough in explaining the injury and all options to recover. Thought I was going to need minor surgery and ends up I just need therapy. Thanks for your honesty.

Dr. Suri and his team along with Dr. Impastada are amazing! I had knee surgery to repair my meniscus and although this is a routine surgery for them they took time to explain everything to me and to make sure I was comfortable. #amazingdocs

Dr. Choate and all the PT staff have been excellent! Tibial tubercle osteotomy and graphed ligament healing well and getting stronger! I can already feel the improvement.
