These are our coworkers and family members who are working 💪 hard long days like the rest of us are!! Unfortunately, once the they finally get your original order, refill request, etc...they're lucky to have gotten through 10 scripts without trouble...and someone's calling to complain again about the delay...Again, they tell you to give 7-14 days because of the mail..
I'm sorry for my long dramatic "description"...however, I hope I make a point.
I've only been treated the way I treat people at BJC, and everywhere for that point, that's usually why it results with a 5 star 🌟 review from me every time

I am disappointed in my fellow reviewers. It is clear that most of their issues are with their insurance companies refusing to pay for their prescriptions at other pharmacies. I agree that is an issue, and one that I too am displeased about. However, it is hardly the fault of this pharmacy.
I have used them for some time and my order is always correct, my order is always on time (note: when using a mail order pharmacy the customer must plan to not receive their medicine for a week a or so), and they are easy to contact. The point is they are good mail order pharmacy.
As for ordering an antibiotic through a mail order pharmacy was merely a minor oversight on your doctors part.

I think this is a normal mail order pharmacy. You do need to request your refill 7-10 days before you need it. In the past if I forgot to order it and needed it sooner I just called them and they expedited my refill. I think they do a good job.

I’ve never had a bad experience with them. Yes the meds aren’t filled the same day, but planning ahead isn’t that difficult. They were very polite on the phone and helpful with what they needed from me/my doctor.

I hate using this pharmacy - it is stupid when my husband works at the downtown campus that he can't pick up our meds but rather they are packaged in plastic and sometimes two plastic bags are used or sent in a refrigerated box for my insulin and then... we have to repack and relabel the box and send it again through the mail. I do not understand the cost savings in any of these activities and who is considering the plastic waste and carbon footprint impact - anyone??????????

This is the worst pharmacy I've ever had to deal with. I signed up for automatic refills. They still don't get my medications to me on time and I still have to call and remind them to fill my prescriptions. I can't even count the times I've ran out of medications and have had to call them to remind them to send it. Then they tell me it will take two weeks to get it to me. Avoid this pharmacy at all costs. I'm in the process of getting all of my families medications switched to my local pharmacy. It's going to cost me more but its will be worth it to not have to deal with this place ever again.

I called the pharmacy to cancel a prescription that wasn't supposed to be sent there and the person who answered was childish and rude. When I told her that my Dr sent sent it to the wrong pharmacy, she said so do you want it deleted and I said yeah. She then made noise like she was mocking me.

It takes 2 WEEKS to get your meds. Why does it take 2 weeks to fill a bottle and ship it?? Heaven forbid life gets busy and you forget to call in your script in time. When I use their automated system for refills there is no confirmation email to follow up saying my prescription is processing. I don't get an email for about 10 days finally saying it has shipped. I have no idea when I'll get my meds. It is unsafe how slow this pharmacy is.

Random charges on our cards because they can't bother to call patients and let them know they need a prior auth. They just run it cash price and ship it, charging your card with no way to tell them you'd like a print Auth started or that you don't want the rx at that price.

Here's a big clue: when someone has $0 prescriptions for MONTHS then suddenly two new rx are 28 and 46 dollars respectively, BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE says to call them and let them know.

I worked pharmacy myself for several years as did my husband (both different companies). Have never seen such blatant disregard for patients.

Only use this pharmacy if you enjoy zero communication and want to wait 10-14 days for a refill. The refill reminders do not work. I am stuck with this pharmacy because of the insurance my job offers. They do not care. I would give zero stars if it were an option.

There are no words to describe how inconvenient and frustrating this system is!! As employees we have no choice but to use this pharmacy. I called in a refill on 6/23 before my family went on vaca, so that when we got home we would not be without meds. The insurance would not pay until 6/29 so today (7/11) I called to inquire and they haven’t even filled it yet. Now the mail takes 7-10 days. 😡

If I could give 0 stars I would. They have been “working” on my scripts for a month. The first error was my own- no $$$ in the bank so I corrected that. However. Today I called to see what day pills have been mailed out on and they have not. They are on “day 4” of processing. I am on day 30 or NO MEDS. Staff there may as well say “oh well” because that is the attitude. I can go elsewhere and “start over “ next month. This is the stupidest service I have ever seen. Easier??? No way. And before anyone says “ well , you should have planned better…. Please save it. Thanks

This is the biggest pain to use. I'm unable to use any other pharmacy, or if I do I pay a steep amount for things that would be free or next to nothing from the BJC pharmacy. It does not take 10 days to fill and mail a prescription. All of the websites are a massive pain to use, plus you have to have a new log in for each one and your information is not passed over, you have to put it in every time. There is no auto refill, there is no fast way to do anything. You have to call every time to fill anything and then wait over a week to get it. I've dealt with both rude and nice techs over the phone. If you're pretty much forcing people to use this as their pharmacy, at least make it up to par with every single other pharmacy out there. Auto refills, one website that holds your information so you don't have to enter every new script, actually finish your website (If you click on the FAQ page it says "this page will be used to answer frequently asked questions in the future.") If it didn't cost me over $30 for something that is free when mail ordered, I would never use this again.

An absolute s*** show. They tried refilling my controlled substance prescription for 100 days when it was a 30 day prescription. Told me my insurance no longer covers my medication when in fact that is NOT true. There’s no auto renewal option and they require 14 days to refill something that’s only a 30 day prescription so I’m calling my doctor every two weeks. An absolute nightmare to work with. I wish they’d do better.

Submitted for a mail ordered 3 month Rx to be filled on a Monday. On the following Friday I checked to see when it would be arriving since they say 7-10 days till arrival. I come to find it hasn’t even been processed yet. When I called to figure out what was going on (5 days after initial submission) I find out they had been sending requests to my dr twice each day with no response. (Yes, my office should have responded well before all these attempted authorizations) But the pharmacy had no plan to alert me to this issue until I called them. Now it’s the weekend and their not open, so unable to start the process till Monday of filling the Rx which will be the 7-10 days. This is unacceptable when dealing with a daily medication. This means for me to get the Rx on time before the first 30 day Rx is empty I have to submit for the 90 day refill after only taking the med for a week so they have 5 days to contact the dr, a weekend of no work done, and another 10 business days (2 weeks) to process and mail. Again UNACCEPTABLE. The whole system of you have to use mail order is a pretty poor setup to begin with.

Charge you and a week later still haven't sent your medication. Absolutely ridiculous. Poor customer service and possible credit card fraud.

We are forced to use this mail order pharmacy OR it costs up 3 xs the amount. It takes 3-4 weeks for us to get refilled medications (Insulin). it takes 45 days for a new medication to get to your home. No one should have to wait more than 7 days to get a medication thru a mail order. All of the reviews state this yet nothing has been done to improve the process! Who do we call to file a complaint or use a local pharmacy with the same pricing????

No other choice because of insurance. More frustrating because I have a Pharmacist in the family who would never make patients wait 2 weeks OR LONGER for refills. BJC - you can do better.

They won't read this or care, but: this company is a nightmare to work with. One, their site says to use a different link that doesn't work. Two, it's extremely inconvenient to use a mail order shipping when my partner works at the hospital where we could just use the hospital's pharmacy. Instead, that would cost us several times more or completely out of pocket (that's absolutely beyond ridiculous.) Three, they SENT MY MEDICATION TO THE WRONG ADDRESS. Cherry on top of the completely incompetent cake.

I repeatedly check to make sure the address is correct. Apparently they couldn't afford me the same courtesy. So now I don't have my critical medication and will be forced to pay out of pocket anyways. Unbelievable and unacceptable. If they weren't contracted with BJC, they would be gone in a year with this level of incompetence.
