A small little birthday gathering with my friends last night! First of all Monday is probably my favorite time to go because the crowd isn’t too bad. No lines for games. I love it here. This place gives me such nostalgic vibes it feels like a cute 90s location. Reminds me of my childhood and I’m glad we have this as a 3rd space

The place was just perfect. Everything about here is perfect. I wish Guitar Hero was one of the machines here. But overall I loved being here. It was my first time here tonight and it was everything I could ask for in a bar type place. No kids, very friendly staff, outdoor area with games, smoking area, and TVs with various channels on.

Drinks were reasonably priced, a whole pizza was $30, but the pizza was so dang good. It's definitely worth the price. I will say, you are better off buying a whole pizza between 2-3 people instead of one slice per. One slice is $6. You get more value out of a whole pizza.

At the end of the night, this is a place where adults can enjoy themselves. I will most definitely be coming back to this place again for sure.

National Pizza Day calls for Up Down STL, our go-to arcade and a great pizza-by-the-slice spot! I guess it’s not the right time to say that I like the garlic cheese bread over the pizzas but that’s the truth.

I’m a good sport and it was national pizza day, so I went with pizza. I ordered the Mona Lisa Pizza and it did not disappoint.

Time to be a kid again! With its array of pinball machines, basketball hoops, and classic ski ball, it's like stepping onto an adult playground. Whether you're reliving your childhood memories or discovering new found love for these timeless games, this spot is a guaranteed good time.

Visited Up-Down STL on a short trip to St. Louis. Really awesome venue! The pizza was AMAZING. Extremely good and reasonably priced. It's in the back right corner of the main floor at the pick up window (it took us a minute to find it).

Awesome variety of games. Tokens were a great value and we ended up buying way more than we needed because there was a half off special (on Saturday night no less!). Would definitely visit again if we're in the area. Chill/fun vibe. Friendly competition. Great service. Thanks!

Killer atmosphere, awesome pizza, good people! If you're in St Louis for the weekend with your friends or a significant other, definitely a place to check out. No kids allowed though so not a family friendly place. But if it's an adults only trip, it's a must stop.

You can order drinks at any of their bars if you open a tab. You can also add pizza to your tab just by giving your name.

Bonus- If you’re sitting outside you may end up having someone take your drink order and bring those drinks to your table.

Hand crafted cocktails and shots with enough variety to satisfy the crowd.

Pizza- I just can’t say enough about the pizza. It’s sold by the slice or whole and will not disappoint. It’s delicious. Prove me wrong!

My only wish is that they would rotate out some of the pinball games. Especially the few that don’t seem to be fully functioning. But this is minor so I’m not saying it’s bad.

Lovely arcade bar with two levels and lots of winding spaces. You can bring in outside food - not sure to what extent but we were able to bring birthday cake and desserts. We ordered a pizza there and you can also purchase it by the slice. It was tasty. Fine place to go with a group as long as you are okay with splitting up to wander around and play games. They had lots of fun games.

Absolutely great place!! Must go place for nostalgia. Is 21+ during certain times but has family times. Order the Jessica Rabbit! Tastes like a pixie stick.

One of my favorite arcade bars. It has plenty of space and games. The games are VERY decently priced. There are two levels, and it’s wheelchair accessible. (Elevator) The patio is lovely. The bar is great, and they have a good selection of beers. Offers pizza by the slice. My only concern is the smell walking in. It’s not strong but very mildly funky. (It could’ve been just the day I visited) Other than that, very clean. The staff is friendly, I would recommend it.

This place was a pleasant surprise in the Central West End. There are tons of games to play, as well as skeeball and shooting hoops. They have a lovely patio area and two bars. The bartenders were kind and helpful with deciding how many tokens to purchase. This place gets busy fast, so be prepared to take turns. Overall, a nice experience.

Cool hangout for nostalgia video games..they only have pizza to serve, wish they have more different food..they do serve alcohol. It reminds me of Showbiz pizza in adult environment. You might get lucky if you find tokens on the floor..if you lucky😁. This place is not suitable for lil kids.

I had a good time here. I went early on a weekday, so it wasn't busy at all. I can imagine how packed this place can get just because it's a fun place to be without breaking the bank. The pizza is tasty and just greasy enough! I just got a couple of $4 pepperoni slices since it was just me. I'll go back for sure. I think this would be a great lunch break place if they ever expand the hours. My favorite day of the week to visit is Friday afternoon, $2 pizza and 20 free tokens.

Amazing place to go. Fun arcade games, new and old school. Cleverly named drinks. The pizza is so delicious, you can buy it by the slice or the whole pie lol.

We were there to pick up a doordash order. The atmosphere enticing!! The pizza we picked up to deliver was so big and it smelled so good!! We look forward to visiting Up-Down STL on our free time!!

So many games, and they all play for 1 token! I popped in there on a Saturday evening. The place was jumping, and the vibe was so good! The loud music really fueled the energy and everyone there seemed to be gaming it up and having the time of their lives. The craft beer selection was pretty impressive. There was ski-ball, pinball, DDR, you name it... There was even a Michael Jackson's Moonwalker Arcade game that I never knew existed. Such a fun spot.

Come here all the time with friends! Great drinks, AMAZING pizza, beautiful patio, lots of choice in games and 2 levels of fun lol

They also have kid days I think the first Sunday of every month and they add in kid friendly portion sizes and snacks.

The tokens are very cheap compared to many gaming places as well!

Also the security there is simply amazing. I got physically held from behind by a large male I never met and the worker I was near subtly called security and even after I got away from the guy, security came up to me and asked what he looked like and removed him as he was belligerent. Cannot say enough how safe that made me feel and how much I tell my friends to come with me to this bar as we don't feel as at risk as we do in some other bars..

Extensive beer list with lots of local offerings & specials, big slices of well priced delicious pizza, and two stories (street & basement with an accessible lift) of fun retro games to be enjoyed by groups, couples, or even a solo night out. Staff is attentive & considerate. It does get crowded bc it's popular for a reason - if you're there on a weekend night buying cans and not drafts I recommend the specials they do at the tub-bar they set up near the front on busy nights. TL:DR this bar makes going to the CWE worthwhile.

This place is always a vibe! Unleashed my inner-child’s desire for arcade gaming, while catering to my adult needs of a couple of full bars. The pizza is great and the atmosphere is always A1.

I had been trying to get back here for 2 years. Finally visited on my birthday this year and had a blast plus got 40 free tokens because it was my birthday! I love this place and could have just as much by myself as with other people. And although I didn't have any that night, I have a bias in favor of any place that serves pizza by the slice!

Super fun and cool experience! Drinks were good, but a little on the expensive side. If you want to try something new, this is the place fore you!
