This place was so nice... If your tired of chain restaurants, this is the place 👌. We were visiting st.louis. searched the area for places to eat. Previous reviews were good.
Our waiter and his table helper were fantastic. The staff is very polite and helpful.
Our food was delicious. Everything was cooked very well.
You have got to finish your meal with a brandy Alexander. (vanilla ice cream with cognac )...

I have visited Trattoria Toscana a few times and decided to take my son and daughter in law for a celebration dinner. It was exquisite! The food was delicious as always. Frankie was an outstanding server and worthy of accolades! Trattoria Toscana will be my choice of restaurants to celebrate or just go out for delicious food for no special reason. So happy!

We usually book this for work parties and sit in the private room. The service is impeccable. They have happy hour with great prices on wine, beer, and drinks. The Chicken Romano is the best chicken dish I have ever had at a restaurant! They also have oil and seasoning with the pre-meal bread! Outstanding!

Come here for the food, but stay for the service. Jimmy is a delight! I will come back just for him. If he's not here, I'm not coming. He was friendly, helpful, and so nice! I appreciated all his suggestions. We had the Calamari Fritti to start, very yummy and hot! The soup of the day was very good as well. The special was this amazing filet. We also had the Chicken Romano. Both dishes were cooked beautifully and the portions were huge! I cannot stress enough how wonderful the food and service are. Definitely will be back and ask Jimmy!

Overall the food was excellent! I’m not much of a spring mix salad person but that’s my fault for ordering that instead of a Caesar. The drinks were a good pour and the dessert was excellent! Tiramisu
Frankie was our waiter. If you get him you won’t be disappointed! He is very attentive and nice and he is very knowledgeable of the menu and the specials.

This is a special, quaint spot for great Italian. I discovered this place through friends. The owner is always there to greet you. He's a very nice person who cares about his customers. I received a hug from him last time I was there. If you haven't been you need to check it out.

We decided to have dinner here just on a whim. This is a really nice restaurant with top notch service. I ordered the chicken al vino bianco and it was the juiciest chicken I think I have ever had! The vegetable soup was the soup of the day and it was also amazing. The other two dishes we ordered were the veal marsala and the veal alla Parmigiano, both of which were fantastic! I would recommend dressing on the nicer side; I was definitely under dressed but treated fine all the same. :) I have a broken leg with a scooter and our server took the time to walk me to the restroom and open the door for me and then waited outside until I was done to open the door so I could get out easily and head back to the table. I will absolutely be back again! This is a must try if you haven't already.

Great dinning experience all around.
Service is prompt, attentive, but not intrusive if you want to sit and talk before or after eating. They never rush you to order or leave.
The facility is well maintained, neat, clean, with muted colours and design. The bathrooms are well lighted, fairly accessible, clean, and well supplied.
Food selection is excellent, more traditionally prepared Italian fare, from pasta and carne to salads and fish. I've had over a dozen meals of a variety of proffered entrees, all have been
exceptional in preparation, presentation, and flavor.
Pricing is reasonable for what you get, but that metric is subjective, so see for yourself. I've yet to be disappointed.

Had a Caesar salad and the veal saltimbocca...both were extraordinary. Atmosphere was also great, all in all a perfect birthday dinner.

Another great meal at Trattoria Toscana! This is a hidden gem in South St Louis County. The food is excellent and the service is excellent. We had Chicken Spedini and Linguine Tutto Mare. Salads, bread, and side vegetables were flavorful. They have a robust wine list as well as a full bar. The ambience is comfortable and our experience was quite pleasant. We even have leftovers for another meal!

Great spot to take that special someone out for a nice dinner. Our server Frankie was outstanding and the food was equally great! Will definitely be back soon!

My boyfriend and I visited here while staying in St Louis for the week. We both had beef dishes which were cooked perfectly. The toasted ravoli were so tasty, and filled with meat. The be fried calamari was cooked correctly.
Only complaint I had is my roasted potatoes tasted old...the texture of baked potatoes is noticeably different the longer they are not eaten. Overall, they were still tasty and we both left with completely happy plates!

Food was excellent, albeit pricey for the main entrees. A great place to eat for special occasions and gatherings. Recommend but keep in mind the pricing. Google will have you believe it costs the same as Applebee's.

I have dined at Trattoria countless times. The menu offers something for everyone. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing. I have enjoyed a variety of entrees over the years and it is hard to pick a favorite - but the pork chops are high on my list. On a recent visit Jimmy was attentive and friendly offering his opinion pertaining to several dishes when solicited. Bottom line - if you want a great dining experience at a reasonable price Trattoria Toscano is the place to dine. BTW - they make the perfect Bloody Mary.

I have been going to this place ever since my boss took my here 7 years ago. I love the service and the atmosphere. This review will be dated because we are dealing with COVID currently so they can only do take out. The food is still amazing! Highly recommend you order takeout and support this awesome local business.

I visited because of a Groupon, but thought the food and presentation were excellent. Very good service as well and good came out quickly.

We had a family dinner of 9 adults. Everyone enjoyed their meal.

Trattoria Toscana is wonderful in every way!!! On 1/20/23 my 14 year old son and I enjoyed an amazing dinner! We had a delicious meal -- he ordered an out of this world steak with a blue cheese sauce and house salad, and I ordered the beef soup (the beef was perfectly tender) and the house salad( a must). The steak was crafted with love, so glad my son shared a bite! We experienced wonderful service. The staff was kind, attentive and knowledgeable. We will be back next time we are in town and dine in the kitchen!
