Dental assistant Jen and Dr Merrill were exemplary, a model for holistic care: compassionate, informative about preventive care, treating "the whole person" as one with tooth sensitivity, anxiety, and concerns. I requested oral cancer screening, and boom, I got an extra thorough one. Tooth sensitivity was treated respectfully. and communication between assistant and doctor was respectful and garnered my confidence in them as a team. Good advice about floss type and acidic drinks by Jen. Gentle, cheerful receptionist, and a lovely, calming atmosphere in the office.

Dr Merrell and all of her staff are wonderful. I was not a current patient of this office but I called with a dental with a bad jaw ache including ear pain, they gave me first available which was ten days out. Later that same day the staff called me back stating they had a cancellation and asked if I’d like the earlier date. When I arrived I was greeted by a very friendly, courteous, and professional staff. I was taken back at my appointment time, no waiting. During my entire visit both staff and doctor Merrell explained everything and reassured me every step of the way. I’m very pleased with the care I received and will happily refer her to friends and family.

I have been a patient of Dr. Rebekkah's for about 4 years and I am always impressed with the quality of dental care I receive. My first visit was because I had lost part of a tooth/filling. She saw me the same day and, bless her heart, she stayed late to make a crown (no wait for a temporary crown!). She really cares! I choose her over my then current dentist who used "old school" methods. Asheville Smiles has all the latest, high tech equipment available which makes a huge difference in my dental care!

This dentist is by far one of the best in Asheville , and after a lot of research and consultations, I knew I was in good hands when her only concern was to make me able to laugh again. Her kindness and compassion is astounding. She truly loves what she does, and has her patience, best interest at heart, and she’s reasonably priced. Her assistant , Kayla and staff are kind down to earth, compassionate, thorough, educated, and extremely professional. I am so happy. I found this amazing practice and these wonderful women. High-fives this is woman owned and operated support local businesses! She gave me more hope and solutions than any of the other dentists i consulted with from here to Greenville. Today, I had a temporary crown replaced after it broke in half. Lauren, Dr Merrell's dental assistant, did an excellent job of making my replacement crown. This was crucial as I just had a root canal done on that tooth. But it was not an easy fix. The tooth is quite damaged. But Lauren showed both skill and the follow through to get the job done.

I was in need of considerable dental work. Dr. Merrell examined me and presented me with a plan of action of what needed to be done. She and her staff were very professional and courteous. My experience with this practice has been very positive. I would absolutely recommend this practice to anyone in need of professional dental work.

Dr. Merrill is friendly and knowledgeable. She is very meticulous about getting the right fit. Her staff are also kind and professional. I had a tooth problem and she fit me in right away.

Had a 8am appointment this morning with Asheville Smiles. Jen my hygienist did a cleaning and Dr Merrell did an exam. They both are so sweet and nice. I’m not the best patient because I have a bad gag reflex. They were patient and understood the problem. I would give them a 10 star if it was there. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for dental care.

When I first came to Dr. Merrell my teeth were a mess. Over the last few years, all the issues were addressed and the results have quite frankly been life changing. Highly recommend!

I had the best experience yesterday - found out my previous dentist/hygenist never did a correct periodontal check ... had the most thorough cleaning - my teeth have never felt or looked so good! And also got my permanent crown put in - it was a very easy, pain-free experience ... and my crown fits perfectly!

I had a dental emergency, and they supported me, worked through lunch for me, and really embodied a group of people that made me feel more like family.
