MAHEC Family Health Center

I absolutely love my doctors and nurses here as well as 99% of the front desk interactions. Any issues I've ever had (especially with phone glitches) have been taken care of quickly and usually within the day. I can't thank everyone there enough and don't know what I would do without them.

I've been a patient here for over 6 years, and I love all the medical staff. They understand and listen well to my concerns. I also go to the psychology building and have the same wonderful experience as well. I love that MAHEC has everything you may need on site, and they work with one another, providing me with the best possible care. I definitely highly recommend being a patient here.

An excellent facility. The care I am receiving is first class. The physician never rushes me, answers my questions and explains all procedures. When medical residents are included, I am asked for my permission. I have experience in the medical field as well as being a patient and I am very favorably impressed.

Dr. Wienrib is an excellent endocrinologist and has helped add years to my life!

I've been coming here a couple of years now and I've always been treated with kindness, dignity, and respect. Dr. Westphal and Dr Fusco make me feel comfortable to share anything I need to share and Mary, Dr Fusco's nurse is exceptional! Super friendly and makes you feel right at home. No matter what you're being seen for! Highly recommend.

We were sent to this office for our baby's 20 anatomy ultrasound, we see an OB at MAHEC's Brevard office. I wish I could remember our ultrasound tech's name, I think it started with an "S" - she was amazing! I'm sure she's done hundreds of these scans but she was so kind and only had the sweetest things to say about our baby. It made the appointment feel very special for us, as it should be! Baby wasn't fully cooperating despite the tech's every attempt so we'll be back in a few weeks to get the last measurements taken (fine with me, I enjoy getting to see the baby anytime that I can!)

I have recieved wonderful care from every staff member and doctor here. I am a patient of the OB-Gyn as well as the MAHEC Family Health Center.
I have searched for good medical care for YEARS and have not found it sadly. I have a couple chronic illnesses and my old doctors usually just dismiss me because I am younger.
I have been treated with nothing but kindness and professionalism since coming to the MAHEC Center, I highly recommend them.

From the check in people to nurses, PAs, doctors & residents, they are all kind, friendly & extremely good at what they do. My doctors are detailed & thorough. I’ve been going to Mahec Family Medicine for 4 years, & all the practitioners have been extremely caring as well knowledgeable about my conditions.

Wonderful staff! I have been going here for years and they have always treated me with kindness and respect! I went here for my OBGYN with both of my children and I have been in their drug treatment program for almost 2 years now! Clean and serene for almost 2 years and I couldn’t be more grateful for all the help and positivity from all the physicians!!

Dr. McDowell and the staff always greet me with smiles. She listens to what I have to say and works with me to achieve a healthier, stronger body.

Could not love my experience more!! Just delivered my baby girl at mission hospital on 2/21 and the mahec team was amazing! I saw the midwives at mahec and they respected every single wish I had. I wanted to do an all natural birth at the birthing center but could not due to a health issue. They let me make my decisions with no pressure just an explanation of risk and benefits! Could not have asked for a better team!!

I really like the doctors at Mahec family medicine they are so kind and understanding my family and I feel welcome here and feel like we are understood and cared properly for thanks for beimg such a great clinic i travel over 45 miles one way and it is well worth it with the care we recieve…

I absolutely love this clinic. It makes it so much easier for people to have access to healthcare when they otherwise could not even begin to afford it. They are always so, so nice and make me feel comfortable every time. Anyone who complains about the wait times (which are not usually even that bad) has obviously never worked in healthcare. Always short staffed beyond belief.

I have gone to MAHEC for years and went today for a check up. Once again I received very professional care. I saw Dr. Westphal, she was completely on-point, same for the receptionist and nurses. Thanks, MAHEC!

I haven’t had a doctor listen to me as Dr. Thomson does. She really wants to find a solution instead of simply prescribing pain killers to hide the symptoms. The staff is friendly and seems knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommended.

Took great care of me, tested positive for covid while 20 weeks pregnant. Everyone at Mahec has been wonderful!

I absolutely love Dr. Fagan. He has been me and my kids doctor for about 13 yrs. I couldn't ask for a different provider and facility for my families healthcare.

I accidentally hit there was a wait in line when I was at MAHEC but there was not. MAHEC is a very clean, helpful, fast check in, efficient , and wonderful staff.

I love my doctor here she understands my issues and don't judge so glad I have her big shout out to dr. T you Rock!!!
