It's beautiful and a great place for kids. I grew up here and this park looks nothing like it used to do they have really revamped it nicely for everyone to enjoy. It's great.

Named after one of the best little league football and baseball coaches I ever had, I was very pleased at what the town of Woodfin did to memorialize Mr. Pope or Coach Pope. I lived right down the street from the Popes and am sure he would be very happy that his name is carried on by having youngsters Fathers. happily with their siblings, Mothers and Fathers.

This place is so cute! Appropriate for all ages. There are shaded areas and it was not crowded at all. It even has a water spray station!

Ever since we discovered this playground, we’ve used it a lot!
It’s great for all aged kids, has shaded picnic tables, is surrounded mostly by a big fence, and has bathrooms!

Doesn’t have a lot of parking, so that can be an issue at peak times, but the parking it does have (a small lot on either side) is shaded a lot of the time, and mama likes that :)

This is my son's favorite park that he's been so thus far. He was running everywhere and having so much fun!

A great park that is partially enclosed. The play equipment made us feel safe with letting our kids play on their own (with supervision). There are 2 playgrounds and swings. At the entrance you can press 2 buttons that spray mists of water which is nice in the summer. There is a sand area with toys and a little house. There are also bathrooms and a picnic shelter. We loved this park and would definitely return.

Great playground! Relatively small, but lots of things to climb on and several slides, swings, and even a mist feature, where you press a button and it turns on the mist to cool you down. Super fun on a hot day! Park felt very safe, right across from an elementary school. Also had a big covered pavilion. One negative was that the cute dragon statue in the middle of the park gets too hot in the sun. They probably need to have a shade cloth over that. Otherwise great and lots of trees for shade around the edges of the playground.

Excellent playground! Parking is visible from playground. Equipment in good condition and for all age groups (<2, 2-5, 5+). Pavilion with tables. Restrooms onsite. My 15 month old was able to utilize the 2-5 y.o. equipment (with my assistance) which had 5 different slides on it! The play area had soft, bouncy flooring around all the equipment. We'll definitely be back!

Decent sized playground for all age groups. Little Tikes branded playsets installed here.

It was a nice park and the kids had a blast so that's what matters right? The equipment wasn't falling apart and fairly new and wasn't in such a terrible spot of town or somewhere either so safe for them. There was other kids for them to play with as well. Good park for a little while out with the younguns.

I love this park. It has a nice playground. It also has a covered picnic area, walking path and a big field to play ball. We have 5 kids and they have grown up playing at this park. I frequent the walking path because it's very convenient for me. The bathrooms were always pretty nasty to be honest. This summer they have a porta pot. I have never tried it but hopefully it's a little cleaner. 😉

This is a wonderful playground for younger kids. It's very popular for group gatherings. The playground equipment is varied, and can keep kids at all levels of comfort and ability occupied for hours. It also has a handy (in summer) mister to help keep everyone cooled off when needed.

This park was amazing my boys loved it there. I will plan to go there again very soon. Even tho it is in north Carolina and I live in Tennessee we will definitely go back there. My boys loved it because of the dragon coming up from the ground

We have been having our family reunion there for years and we have found it to be a great place. There's a good playground for the younger kids and for the adults they don't mind if we sing gospel to the top of our voices and we love it! Oh yeah the park is right beside the Woodfin Police Station and that's awesome!

Awesome playground! Great for babies, toddlers and big kids! The ground is that squishy rubber stuff so kids don't get really messy if it's wet out. There are water misters that are turned on on the summer. There's a sand pit with a nice shade over top of it so the sand doesn't turn into burning hot lava. One side of the playground is geared toward babies and toddlers and the other side is great for bigger kids. There's a really cool sea monster in between the two sides of the playground to climb all over. There's a really large covered pavilion for parties. The whole park is also enclosed with a fence which is nice to keep kids from wandering off.

Love this kids park and so do my kids. It feels very secure with fencing surrounding it, plus there's a police station next door just in case of emergencies. Highly recommend this kids play park compare to other nearby parks. Families that go they are pretty welcoming.
