Replaced my water pump and serviced the transmission on my A4. Less than half the price of local competitor and dealer. Quickly scheduled and completed. I'll be back! I went back for an oil change. Good service and less than the drive through oil change places. They installed the equipment I brought and have given solid advice on upcoming maintenance.

We have complete confidence in Todd and his staff. They are skilled and trustworthy so that I always feel safe in my vehicle after they service and check it over. In addition to being totally competent, they are friendly and gracious. I highly recommend VW Specialties!!

I moved here three + years ago with my 2013 A6 Audi and was concerned that I might not be able to find a reliable"independent" shop that worked on foreign cars close to my new home. I was pleasantly surprised that not only was there one close by ,but with the level of expertise that they have shown me in taking care of my Audi. I have found them to be most pleasant to work with,, from Jennifer in the office, to Todd and Evan who take great care of my Audi needs. They are reliable , efficient and I cannot say enough how happy I am that they are in the Weaverville area. My car has 70K miles on it and it still runs great thanks to VW Specialists and of course Hudsons Imports in Mt Pleasant, SC where I moved from and who recommended that I find a small independent shop where their mechanics took pride in the service they performed. I have found that at VW Specialists. I am happy!

Todd and his team fixed an oil leak on my Q5 for 1/10th of the cost the dealer quoted me. More importantly, he identified the actual source of the leak in one morning while the dealer failed to do so after having the car for 2 months.

All of my interactions with VW Specialties have been great - they communicate well and have always been straightforward with me. I've recommended friends and family go here and will continue to bring my vehicles here whenever possible.

I consider it a miracle that we can be blessed with trusted alternatives to dealer maintenance facilities. VW Specialties has craftsmen working on your vehicle that are as tired as you are when it comes to massive dealer mark-ups when you need something repaired on your VW or Audi. This is a humble looking shop, but don't be fooled by appearances. State-of-the-art and fully modern equipment are held within those walls, with tools wielded by experienced mechanics. Do yourself a favor and take a scenic drive up the hills of North Buncombe when your next service is due!

VW Specialties is a super great place to take your VW. They are very knowledgeable and can quickly address the issue with your vehicle. They also do routine maintenance as well, such as oil changes etc. Very nice people to deal with and your car will purr as you drive away.

I avoid the dealership like the plague. We had an emergency breakdown on the interstate and it had to go to the dealership for a day. They quoted a bunch of unnecessary work at an outrageous price. RennWorx, our usual go-to, was backed up and recommended this shop. They lived up to the recommendation. Gave towing recommendations, worked us in, send prompt diagnosis and quotes, gave best and worst case quotes, and communicated by text on almost a daily basis. I am beyond impressed and so happy to have my “red rocket” (TDI Wagon) back in operation. I cannot say enough about this business! Well done!

Really great and communicative service! They get back to you quickly and have always been able to schedule me within a week. They charged me less than the original quoted price because it was less labor than they thought, showing great integrity. Very fair prices, always around half what my dealership quoted me. Would definitely recommend VW Specialties to anyone!!

Todd and his team were absolutely fantastic. Totally set all expectations and pricing upfront. Absolutely top-notch work all around. Our vehicle has NEVER run this well. They even fixed two annoying nagging issues for us at a very reasonable rate. We were able to pick our vehicle up after hours which was convenient for us. We are really happy with the work and communication from VW Specialties, highly recommend!

Excellent analysis of services needed, with accurate pricing for each of the items recommended. Work completed and my older VW with 250,000 miles is running great. Next time it is due for service, I will be taking it back to VW Specialties.

At VW Specialties you always know the full cost and the order in which you need to take care of the repairs by priority, I appreciate that. They also send you a detailed report with pictures if applicable explaining the issue with your vehicle. I highly recommend using them with your VW or Audi needs!

The customer service was great, Jennifer got back to me quickly about appointment times and they were very attentive with my car. They referred me to a Tire repair shop as well. Prices were very reasonable for the work!!

Incredible service and pricing. After our VW hit 125k miles and was paid off, it seemed like everything went wrong with it. I refused to take it to the dealership or “thiever-ship” as I like to call them. I found this place on a google search and decided to give it a go. I took my vehicle in on a Monday evening and picked it up that following Friday and it runs and drives like a dream. (There was a lot to replace on it too.) these guys are awesome and I will recommend and use them again in a heart beat. Thanks again!
