Izzy's Coffee House

Consistently delicious coffee and delightful service in a charming and cozy environment. Bagels and assorted pastries are always good. Good WiFi and (occasionally unstable) seating options are conducive to working/studying. Love this local gem!

Very relaxed atmosphere. There's an upstairs, but didn't go up there. Enough searing downstairs. When I was there, what seemed like the owner was teaching her 2 younger boys how to brew espresso. It was very sweet and everyone I interacted with was very kind.

We loved Izzy’s! I had a lavender oat latte and an everything bagel with jalapeño cream cheese. So good and definitely a must stop when in Asheville.

Overall - Service is quick and accurate. The art inside changes every month, and each barista plays the music they like so the vibe is always fresh.

Sunrise over Izzy’s - I’ve been an early morning regular at Izzy’s for a few months, and Maddy always greets me with a smile & positive attitude. I’ve overheard her handle difficult customers in a pleasant manner, so that everyone (the business & the customer) was taken care of.

I honestly was impressed. Two 16 oz coffees and two bagels with cream cheese came out to 15 bucks after tip. The staff was friendly, the service great. And the coffee was good. Over a great experience. It was a little on the slow side. I wouldn’t stop there if you’re in a rush.

Delicious coffee just is a great way to start the day. There is even some simple syrup you can add yourself to get just the right flavor. My blueberry muffin had a distinctive, but fantastic, flavor and was perfectly toasted. Wonderful job with the atmosphere, selection, service, and options. Probably going back in the morning!

Authentic coffee house! Homemade bakery items, coffees and teas. I love dropping by here for a quiet “sit down” espresso. I love how the sun shines through the window at the little checkers table in the morning.

Coffee here is super solid! I ordered an Iced Caramel Latte and it was smooth. Not too sweet, but creamy, rich, and flavorful. Homey vibe to the spot. Decent service and welcoming.

Excellent coffee, great customer service, interesting decoration (artwork), but felt sorry for the single employee tending to numerous customers. She did great but although of work for one employee. Every member of our group tried different drinks and they were all great.

This is my favorite coffee spot in all of Asheville. Parking is a hassle in west Avl, but they have their own parking so this is the only coffee place I’ll go to.
The delicious bagels, yummy coffee and hot tea drinks, comfortable seating and nice staff all make for the perfect spot.
I’ve been coming here often and will continue to do so!

I love this Coffee House! I frequent this establishment and have for many years. This is one of the best stops on the West side! All of the Baristas are absolutely amazing. Anisa has given me one of the tastiest lattes I have had. She has great customer service and is very sweet. Any one visiting the area and want a great coffee beverage head over to West and check them out! 🙌🏾

Cute coffee shop, open on Mondays and a chill place to hang and chat. Delicious brevet cappuccino! I always enjoy their rotating art gallery on the walls.

Amazing barista who always welcomes me in my neighborhood! Amazing coffee and is open to helping me choose a good drink that i always enjoy. This is the barista Anisa who keeps up with cleanliness, correct orders and helpful service as the only one usually working. Hope to see more diversity in Asheville and love getting to come to my coffee shop down the street. This place benefits the community locally, and puts proceeds toward noble cause. Aside that it's small and slow enough to get your coffee and go if you want to get going. They make their own caramel sauce so if you are getting a caramel topping or added your in luck

Love this place - the Mexican Mocha is delicious! Great place to meet and hang out while enjoying a yummy cup of Joe and some apple/carrot bread. $$ is very fair and there is extra parking in the back. My go to spot for coffee Mmmm ❤

Such a fun, cute coffee spot in west Asheville! Plenty of seating indoor and outdoors, friendly staff, yummy bites, and fresh coffee. Ordered the lavender mint latte and it was to die for! Would definitely recommend.

Yummy with great atmosphere! I had the golden latte with oat milk, and it was tasty! Not cheap, but tasty! There was plenty of seating inside, upstairs, and outside. This place was once a home, but I love how they have utilized the space. Plenty of parking, especially for being in Asheville. And there were lots of choices on the menu! Give it a try!

In a city full of coffeeshops, Izzy's is a coffee house. I've been here three times, and each time the place is full of people settling down to read, work, or study. The atmosphere is cozy and more contemplative than the other bustling coffee retailers in the greater Asheville area. The coffee is lovely, with a creative and thoughtful menu and high quality ingredients. The baked goods rotate, with both sweet and savory options available. But the reason I find myself returning to this spot is the upstairs rooms tucked away where I can work in peace at a table or in a recliner. It has that "third space" feel that so many coffee establishments strive for, but this one actually accomplishes it.
